What’s not to like Hosts /Superb Guest house /very lovely and spotlessly clean Location/ central to everything Breakfast/ everything you could want From cereal / fruit / tea.coffee. Fruit juice. I hade the vegetarian cooked breakfast which was absolutely delicious

The property was spotless, comfortable, had lots of extra little treats and toiletries. Ian and Sally couldn’t make you more welcome they went above and beyond to see to anything that was needed

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, I only had mushroom omelette and scrambled eggs on the second morning. Location is well placed for the town centre

The breakfast was ample; Ian & Susan provided a gluten-free breakfast as requested and it was delicious! The dining facilities were also excellent. The bedroom was clean, nicely furnished with plenty of hot & cold drinks available in the room and available from the dining room. The ensuite bathroom was very nice, perfectly clean upon arrival. Excellent service, delightful hosts and terrific value for money!

Very pleasant room with bathroom and good shower. Good choice at breakfast, with vegan and vegetarian alternatives. Ian and Sally very helpful with advice on where to go and what to eat.

I forgot to collect my ice cream after a long hot day walking in the sun.

Breakfasts were wholesome and plentiful with lots of choice. Sally and Ian went out of their way to be helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They were the ideal hosts. Beds were comfy and our room was spacious with a large shower / bathroom. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

An outstanding B&B : the proprietors are very friendly and accommodating, the room spacious and comfortable, breakfast was excellent ; I highly recommend. It's also very convenient for the train station.

Nothing I can think of

I completely recommend this place to everybody coming to Dumfries. The house is in a perfect location to reach the city center in 2 mins walking, the rooms are in amazing condition, the internet is really fast and the hospitality is outstanding. For breakfast, the variety of tasty food to choose from was priceless. Moreover, the hosts even drove us to the train station in Lockerbie (20 mins away) a favor beyond the reach of most. Finally, I have only words of affection and gratitude to them.

Well worth a visit. Lovely welcome from helpful hosts. Spotlessly clean and all COVID-19 rules followed. Excellent breakfasts. Would definitely recommend staying here. Ideally placed for numerous golf courses and the coast. Lots of options for great meals out.

I couldn't find any faults with the property

The hostess and host were brilliant - so friendly, flexible and accommodating. The rooms, with ensuite facilities, were spotless, spacious and warm. Tea, coffee, biscuits, etc, provided plus a free toiletries pack. Bottles of mineral were plentifully supplied free of charge - natural or sparkling. The breakfasts were excellent - lovely fresh-fruit platters - as well as a great choice of full cooked breakfast with a veggie option - or cereals/porridge - plus yoghurts, fruit juices, etc., etc. Soya and Almond milk available too. A great location in a quiet town centre street - convenient for shops and numerous local eateries.

It's like a home from home. Ian & Sally are like family. You are made so welcome and they simply can't do enough for you. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
