Nice island and general location.
The resort is not in a a very good shape and is not taken care of very well. The beach is rarely cleaned and the compound did not seemed very well-groomed. Although the staff is overall friendly, they are not very service-oriented and more passive. While in the entire Philippines it‘s normal that you can refill water for free, they charge for it more than a bottle of water in Europe would cost in the supermarket. While in comparable resorts it‘s normal that you can borrow their kayak and snorkel mask for free, Coconut charges for that. Beer is significantly more expensive than it other accommodations in the area and also there is no free pickup service from Port Barton like most of the other accommodations offer. In general it could be a very nice place if it was run better and if the people there would care more to give their guests a nice experience, instead of just giving you the feeling that they want to make money with every little thing. Poor value for money ratio - you can find much better accommodations in the area (e.g., Sunset Resort).

Localisation, beauté de l’île, gentillesse de l’équipe et la qualité de la cuisine. Tout est parfait pour déconnecter et vivre l’expérience perdu sur une île.

Staff are incredibly lovely and friendly.
Saw turtles and some nested on the beach while I was there.
If you order fish for dinner a fisherman catches it fresh them at day for you !
Exceptional good value for a paradise resort
It’s more remote so there will be bugs but unavoidable and part of the remote adventure

Location was to die for! So peaceful and beautiful. Evening meals were very good in quality and value for money
I had an ant infestation in my room and got badly bitten during the night. The staff very very quick to react the next day and the problem resolved leading to a more enjoyable second nights stay

Amazing location nice beach
With the amazing location and unparalleled beach they lure you in. BUT island resort and they take full advantage of it ( without prior notice). Even a glass of water is 5x more expensive than in Port Barton. We ended up paying double the accommodation fee for 5 nights of food and drinks for 2 people. Also they do not really feel comfortable serving local food, too many stupid tourist complaints… so no authentic Philippines experience

This place is truly a piece of paradise on earth. The pristine beach, butterflies, well kept gardens, the cutest dogs and super friendly staff. The food selection is great, both western and local. The room was spacious and the views to die for. A good library of books and games, snorkels and volleybal are available.
The generator, and therefore WiFi, is only switched on a few hours a day. There are no plugs in the room. At night, the room is pitch black and yes, there are insects + lots of geckos. This makes it feel quite isolated, especially for a solo traveller.

Amazing location on a private beach. Really peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful setting. Old fashioned, but in a charming way.
The resort is slightly dated. You only have wifi and electricity 2 times in the day for a few hours. The food menu is a bit limited.

What a wonderful place and a wonderful island. Go here to relax. My hammock and me where best friends these days.
Also good food for a fair price

The location. Is amazing...right on the beach. The tranquility-a perfect place to relax and unwind.
The food was good - especially the homemade bread and the fresh fish. We stayed for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer....It took a day or two to get used to doing nothing.
The sandflies.....which only appeared on our last day, but they feasted on me.

Idyllic setting, great beach which was swept every day. Food was excellent quality, good value and portions were large. Boat trip at 400 return per person was very reasonable for one hour each way. Every bungalow and room had a sea view. We had good mobile signal with Smart for two days out of our 5 day stay.
Nothing

Perfect location to be away from the busy Port Barton! Staff is very friendly and will help you out with everything, they clean the beach every morning and the food is delicious!
The rooms could do with some renovation as they do look very old. This place is running for more than 20 years!

We celebrated our mom’s birthday. No crowds when we were there. Beautiful grounds, and secluded, just the place we needed for our rambunctious family 😉
Coffee price is per cup.

Very clean huts on a private island about 45 mins boat ride from Port Barton. Little to do other than relax and waves / wind permitting, hiring a kayak. No WIFI or phone signal, so perfect for escaping the world. Boat crossing can be a bit lumpy if the waves are up and our bags got quite wet and we were fully drenched on the way back when the wind was blowing hard. Restaurant was reasonably priced, food was tasty and there was a good veggie menu with a few vegan options (veggies be aware that the Vegetable Nasi Goreng contains fish paste, so isn't vegetarian). A very chilled place to spend a few days.
bags getting wet with sea water on the way back, although the waves and wind were stronger than usual. On the way out it was the hotel's boat and the bags went in the hold, on the way back they chartered a bigger boat and bags went on the deck.

I loved being away from so many tourists, and I loved the food. It's a beautiful location to stay.
That Port Barton had no cash in any of it's ATM so I could leave a bigger Tip.

Beautiful, secluded island resort. Incredible views from the clean & spacious bungalows. Decent snorkelling a short swim from the beach.
Food was amazing for the location especially a wide range of vegetarian food!!
Nothing at all, we could have stayed longer!

Is a wonderfull ISLAND near to port Barton, staff is kind and the place is good to disconnect from your life
Price of the boat was not included on the booking and wasn't clear. The food only can be gotten from the resort, it was good but the only option.

A well deserved vacation after being cooped up at home for more than 2 years due to the pandemic. Although the resort is still recuperating from typhoon Odette, the staff made everything to make ends meet and provide the best experience to us. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing location, very tranquil one of the most beautiful beaches we've been to in the Philippines. The food in the restaurant is delicious and fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although very remote, the facilities are very high standard.
There is only one way to get the resort by using their boat as transportation. One needs to be aware that the transportation is an extra charge and it might be difficult to coordinate since they don't always have Internet so confirmed the time of arrival should be done ahead of the arrival as possible.
