Excellent location on a working farm. Perfectly situated for exploring the Derbyshire dales and beyond, or in my case the places where I grew up.

There was nothing not to like. This was my second visit.

The position of the property is stunning, with views over the Derbyshire Dales and Ogston.

The inside of the property is in need of an update, both the decoration and the furniture are past their sell by date. It would have been a kind gesture to include either a small carton of UHT or fresh milk for a much needed drink after a long journey, we made do with black coffee!😒

We used this house as a temp accommodation at the moment.. We live in hotels one week then have use this house to clean our clothes

Our second trip here . Home from home. Lovely views , host warmed up cottage for our arrival .

This is a gem of a place . The views are breath taking. Very comfortable settee suite. Kitchen has everything you need. Only thing missing is a dish washers lol but I just overwhelmed by this cottage. We where completly left alone only spoke to host twice. Really felt we where at home. If I could buy this as my home I would. It's that comfortable. There a double bed in the front bedroom and a single in the rear bedroom.

There nothing we didnt like. Maybe if they are replacing the double bed they be better of to change it to 2 single beds. Giving option of pushing the 2 together to make 1 or as more older couples prefer their own single bed but in the same room.

It is a cosy, well equipped cottage with an outstanding view across the Amber Valley. My cousin and I stayed there to revisit the places around where we grew up and the location was perfect. Even in the colder weather it is so well insulated that we hardly needed to use the heating.

There was nothing not to like. Excellent property, great location and friendly owners.

A small place ideal for just the two of us (or plus a third in the single room) well thought out barn conversion with fantastic views and a good location to visit many attractions. There is a great farm shop and cafe just up the road that does excellent breakfasts, but only takes cash. This place we would want to stay there again if we ever go to that area.
