This was our second stay at Abbey del Sol. The room was immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable with top quality linens.We booked a room with a kitchen ,it had everything imaginable in a compact space. The room even had a Beach bag, Beach chairs and a umbrella! That thought of everything!

Abbey was a wonderful choice!The apartment was spacious and very clean-which means a lot to me. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook. Bathroom clean as well.Air conditioner was a blessing to say the least :)Staff was friendly and always available to answer questions or provide assistance. Mariela was especially helpful.The hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes away from the Unico beach & 15 minutes from the town center where all the restaurants, transportation and shops were.As a solo female traveler I felt safe and comfortable. I am definitely coming back to Puerto Morales and Abbey del sol!

The property itself is located at the quieter end of town but in easy walking distant to the main square as well as two minutes walk to the beach. The pool area is lovely and the overall property is well cared for. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely - quiet, so well maintained and such helpful staff. We continue to return to Abbey del Sol because we feel at home here. It is close to the beach and downtown but private and peaceful. We enjoy the 'most comfortable bed ever', the ambiance, birds and plantings. Fabulous yoga on the roof 3 days a week is an added bonus plus the bikes. We will be back next year!

We went to Abbey for our honeymoon and it was the most amazing experience. Mary, Jin and the entire staff are incredible. They are caring, down to earth, and helped make our stay just the best. My husband and I loved this special place we found as a last minute decision to visit Mexico. The room was very clean, kitchen well equipped,staff very friendly and met our requests very timely. Our favorite 2 things we loved were the accessibility of bikes for our use at any time, and the lovely clean pool at the center of the property. I must say this twice as we felt we would have been much more isolated fron the town square if we had not had the bikes, we very much loved having them. The town has many savoury restaurants,friendly people, and arts and craft shops. We also enjoyed fresh fish purchased from the local fish shop. We will definitely make a return visit to this very nice haven. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Private stairway access to the pool behind the apartment in the main courtyard. Customer service was excellent. I would loved to have lived there long term.
