Viemos festejar o aniversário de 2 dos meus 3 filhos, fomos muito bem acolhidos pela simpática recepcionista que nos acolheu e ajudou no que precisámos. Deram-nos a boas vindas com um licor e uns biscoitos da região. Tivemos a agradável surpresa que ao saberem que um dos meus filhos fazia anos no dia da chegada, colocaram uns chocolates, balões e um cartão no quarto a dar-lhe os Parabéns. Por isso também mais uma vez vos dou os Parabéns!

Simpatia do staff, com possibilidade de late check out o que nos permitiu aproveitar o ultimo dia de um fim de semana prolongado. Restaurante bom o que permite uma boa refeição sem ter que sair do hotel.
Espaço muito interessante e com otimo espaço exterior, nomeadamente piscina exterior e várias espreguiçadeiras.

The Hotel is a beautifully converted convent with views from the side to the Serra das Estrelas mountains. The interior is tastefully decorated and the rooms are modern spacious quiet with en suite. The bed was comfortable. With an indoor pool and spa sauna & an outdoor pool within a lovely garden. We ate dinner here and whilst not a huge variety on the menu the food was excellent and not expensive The breakfast the following morning was the best we had had after travelling most of the week . We would definitely stay here again and cannot rate it more highly.

SPA or indoor pool quite a deception, water cold and stinky not sure why, have been in several SPA’s before and this one was quite scary considering the wanter smell and mild temperature (28°c - 30°c).
Food quite pricey but tasty.

We liked the nature and silence. The garden pool was perfect to relax during our intermediate stop.
Fundao is really a quiet place. You have to eat at the hotel. The next restaurants are to far away, there is a car necessary.

We felt very spoiled. Beautiful hotel in a historical setting with amazing surroundings. Staff was very welcoming and went out of theor way to make it the best experience for us.

the staff makes all the difference! this hotel is super customer friendly. it sits in a great location for hiking and walking to town. it has great food, super nice staff, clean and nice massages we booked to relax. dinner was great, breakfast even better with local cheeses and super fresh bread, fresh orange juice, jams! you order in advance, so you are not wasting food with buffet-style breakfasts.
we are not a fan of carpet on the floor in the room and the styling looks a bit outdated and not in touch with the scenery. it was a convent in ruins, which was restored in 2014. we also did not spot any outlet to charge our phones.. but strange enough 2(,) usb outlets in the bathroom.. with a few tweaks this hotel could be 5 star!

The staff is very friendly, the building is beautiful and has a lot of potential but the administration doesn't pay enough attention to basic things.
Dirty pool, poor quality material (torn bathrobe and worn towels).. bathroom with rust. Christmas music 24/7.. and breakfast nothing special for the price paid.

The hotel is very nice and well decorated, the room is big and looks exectly like in the photographs, Shower is nice and comfortable. breakfast is very good !
There is no table in the room, We ordered room service and we ate on the flore. Water sreem in the shower shuold be stronger
