Location, very friendly and helpful staff. The architecture was lovely. Very comfortable bed and great air conditioning.

The stairs in my room were not very safe, and the bathroom was tiny - hard to get in and out!

very central location over looking a cute park. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy, the lady working the kitchen was very kind. The bed is comfortable. We had a room with a balcony, the room was large and had plenty of sitting area, a closet and little kitchen counter with sink and fridge. The fridge was stocked with a variety of drinks which you can have, but pay a low fee when checking out. AC worked great and saved us with that heat. wifi was good throughout. pretty building, great rooftop, but very hot up there.

Being in the center, if you get a balcony, you’ll hear street noise pretty late; like till 3am. I slept through most. Be warned, not sure if it’s every Saturday, but there was a 6am workout class with bouncy shoes right in front at the park.

Great place in a colonial building. Nice view over the little square. 7 meter ceiling. Many restaurants nearby.. I enjoyed the street live and the music outdoors . Good Aircon.

The staff was really friendly. We loved the lady making breakfast for us everyday. I wish we got her name! We also loved the location. The plaza was always lively and everywhere we walked was a pretty quick walk if you remembered where you came from.

Lovely quirky, colonial building in the very centre of Cartagena walled town. Many places to see, eat and shop around it. Our room 101 was quiet with outdoor sitting space.

Very noisy outside in the evenings - may affect some rooms. Water pressure in our sink was so bad it could hardly crawl out of the tap. Worse - the hot shower water was either scalding steaming hot or stone cold, swinging from one to the other. Nothing in between. Dangerous! Breakfast not appertising and poorly presented.

Very nice breakfast ! The Location is perfect! The Receptionist Dalid is super nice and so helpful and during my stay! The room are clean. I love this space especially like chilling around the balcony at the lobby!

I guess the hot water shower is not hot not even warm. I don’t really bother me as I like the cool shower too! But the might affect some other guests who was expecting the real hot water shower.

We visited Medellin, Salento, and Cartagena on our Colombia trip. Out of the three cities, Hotel Boutique at the Park was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in, having booked hotels of similar ratings in each city. The room was surprisingly spacious, with nice cold air conditioning. It's in a central location in the walled city, with plenty nearby within walking distance. Many reviewers stated that the hotel staff was very helpful with providing information about the city. Maybe it was because we stayed during Christmas and had the holiday staff, but I didn't find this to be the case. Nevertheless, the housekeeping and breakfast staff were friendly, and I would stay here again. Bonus that the minibar drinks were all very affordable and even better prices than many of the restaurants in the walled city.

When you arrive at the hotel, there is a locked gate. We weren't expecting this and walked around the entire block, thinking we were at a side entrance. What I wish the hotel had told us is that there is a doorbell at the top right corner next to the gate, that if we rang, someone would buzz us in. We ended up shouting until someone came down. Also, many reviewers stated that the street noise was loud outside. We were fortunate enough to stay on the bottom floor, with our window facing the inner courtyard, so it was quiet for us at night. However, in the morning, we could hear the breakfast staff, and we also heard the doorbell ring every time someone needed access to the hotel.

well keep,great location , breakfast was amazing. staff was extremely good, specially the lady who help me out with my migraine. , she brought aromatic tea and breakfast to my room. that was very nice from her ,they never ask for anything in return too .

LOCATION, LOCATION LOCATION! This hotel is by far the most centrally located hotel for a comfortable stay! Right outside Plaza Fernandez there was always performances, something fun happening and still away from the rowdy noise near the clubs and clock tower but only a two minute walk there. The restaurants attached and next to th hotel were the BEST. We are at the Pizzeria everyday! The steakhouse next door is one of the best. The staff are VERY kind and go above and beyond. I had a few incidents but all was resolved and they offered to upgrade us to the best suite in the hotel and that was amazing! Highly recommend booking the suite. Breakfast is decent

The basic room at this hotel is NOT NICE. DO not book it! This room shouldn't even be allowed to stay in, its FULL of mold, it smells, you could honestly get sick in there. I couldn't believe they gave us that room and its deceiving when booking online. I highly recommend booking any of the suites as there is a world difference and the second we were moved into there it was a comfortable stay and I loved the place.

The room is right in front of the restaurant's fireplace. the smell of food is unbearable.
