The property was in an excellent location, right between the beach and the town. It is a beautiful property and Lynda and Des made us feel so welcome! The breakfast was lovely. It was very hot during our stay but we were made more comfortable with a fan in our room. The pool area was great.

Clearly a very well run and cared for hotel, the complimentary wine and chocolates were a nice touch. The location was perfect and very easy to get to if walking rather than driving.

Location was brilliant, lovely breakfast water was always hot for bath and shower. No children was great.

There were lots of stairs no lift, room wasn't serviced so had to always ask for more tea bags and milk bed wasn't made bathroom wasn't cleaned although I'm sure if we'd asked it would have been cleaned.

The hotel was extremely clean and had a warm feel, Des and Linda are great hosts and the staff a credit to them. Breakfast is first class being freshly cooked. Great bar and seating area adjacent for relaxation. Grounds looked good but didn't avail ourselves of the pool. Also a very convenient location, quiet street easy walking distance to beach and High Street

Was allocated room 3 which was well appointed and had a thoughtful welcome pack, with plenty of tea and coffee. The only downside,the bathroom was very small. On reflection should have asked if it was possible to upgrade. That said it didn't impact a great deal on our stay

A great location for visiting Shanklin. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety. This was our second visit and we will definitely be staying again.

Tasty breakfast, although I recommend avoiding the Tea. Great location, just a short stroll from the seafront and the restaurants in Shanklin. Pleasant hosts.

Tired decor and paper thin walls to Room 19 which is next to the breakfast room. Room was small and a strange shape; to say it had a garden view was stretching it a bit, but we weren't there much so this wasn't soooo much of an issue.

Desmond and Linda were excellent hosts. They couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts were top notch. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel has a lovely, traditional feel to it with beautiful Victorian style features throughout. It is excellently located in a quiet road which is still very near to the beach and restaurants. Des and Linda are excellent hosts and they did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Great choice of breakfast items, Good food, Tasty. Great well stocked bar, Lovely warm swimming pool.

Fantastic Hotel. Made to feel instantly welcome by our Fantastic hosts Dez and Linda. Perfect breakfast each morning. Fantastic large double room. Stayed a week with my Wife and was gutted to leave. Outside pool a lovely addition. Would not hesitate to recommend to Family and Friends.

There is absolutely NOTHING to dislike about this property and it’s perfect location.
