High Haven Cabin- Amazing Location- Beautiful and Serene!!
Cette cabane en rondins de 2 étages confortablement conçue est propice à la détente et à l'expérience de la vie à Smoky Mountain à son meilleur. Des planchers de bois franc rustiques, des plafonds à poutres apparentes et des cheminées en pierre, vous vous sentirez comme si vous étiez entré dans un pays des merveilles sauvage. Le rez-de-chaussée de la cabine est chaleureux et accueillant. C'est là que vous trouverez le loft qui dispose d'un lit queen size! La Master Suite est en dessous du rez-de-chaussée de la cabine accessible par un escalier fermé. La Master Suite est son propre espace. Juste à l'extérieur de la suite principale se trouve le pont arrière inférieur où vous trouverez notre luxueux bain à remous. Nous n'avons épargné aucune dépense et c'est fantastique !! Savourez un repas fait maison dans la cuisine entièrement équipée avec coin repas, ou blottissez-vous avec un bon livre devant la cheminée, il y en a deux! Lorsque vous n'êtes pas en randonnée dans les collines ou en profitant des magasins à proximité de Gatlinburg, faites une partie amicale de billard ou de baby-foot. Détendez-vous sur l'un des deux ponts ou laissez-vous tenter par un long bain dans le nouveau bain à remous extérieur couvert Spa Crest. La suite principale dispose d'un lit king-size, d'une grande baignoire jacuzzi et d'une cheminée. Cette retraite «High Haven» est à moins de 5 minutes du cœur de Gatlinburg et de l'entrée du parc national.

If you want serenity, this is the place for you! The peace, quiet, and natural beauty surrounding this cabin is incredibly refreshing. Although there were possibly 10 cabins surrounding us, there are so many trees that most are blocked from your view. The front porch and two back decks were great places to spend every day listening to the sounds of nature and watching the wildlife (birds, chipmunks, and I saw one bear).
Philip's thorough communication before, during and after our stay made everything seamless. He was very responsive to any needs. His restaurant recommendations were spot-on. This cabin is close to everything...great location!
Awesome master suite: it's on the lower level, with the hot tub conveniently right outside. Since it always runs, it's like built-in white noise for a restful night's sleep and helped drown out any footsteps from above. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the strong water pressure of the master shower was a treat.
Noteworthy: My hubby and I had a great time being "kids" again playing all kinds of video games on the arcade. If you're a reader, bring books to enjoy in the rocking chairs of the enclosed deck off the master. Finally, the roads in the mountains leading to all the different cabins/chalets are narrow. Take your time, take it slow, and you might see a bear like we did!

We really enjoyed ourselves on this trip and in this beautiful cabin in the mountains. We hope to be back soon. We saw lots of bears roaming the are. Word of advice lock your car doors. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Plenty of games and amenities to keep the little ones busy. We never got the arcade to work properly but other than that really no complaints.

The place was wonderful and a perfect retreat for couples, or even a small family. It was close to downtown but far enough away to feel secluded. Communications with the owners was easy, pleasant, and quick. A+++ experience.

We were very pleased with everything about the cabin. It is close to everything, yet you still get to enjoy the peace and serenity of the woods at the end of the day. It is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. It has comfy beds, a cozy family room, along with scenic dining areas inside and out. The pool table and gaming system are a plus. The owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was nothing less than spectacular!

I love being in nature but also close enough to town to make a quick trip when needed. This cabin was perfect for our family of four. The kids loved the hot tub and the upstairs loft. The adults loved the quiet and downstairs suite. Gatlinburg and the hikes in the smokies were excellent!

Getting to cabin was easy. Once there it was everything the pictures we had seen on the app. Clean and everything worked. Hot tub was awesome, cool nights turned into relaxation hot spot. Our stay will never be forgotten. Will hopefully make it back this fall for another special weekend.

We came here after visiting Atlanta to enjoy some nature before heading home. The property is beautiful! We loved how easy it was to navigate, how close it is to everything and Philip was very friendly and helpful.

As already noted, the cabin was very clean and welcoming. It is located conveniently to downtown Gatlinburg and the national park. However, if you are looking for a great view of the mountains, or the town, this cabin may not work for you. Everything functioned as it should (did have some trouble with the downstairs TV remote, but that could have been due to operator error). We were a little disappointed the master suite was downstairs, but perhaps we should have realized that from the listing. In short, we had a very nice stay and the cabin was comfortable and convenient. Thanks for opening your property to us!!

We couldn't have been happier to get snowed in at High Haven! It was so beautiful and cozy. We had time together to enjoy the pool table and the hot tub. Our stay was absolutely amazing!! Upon or arrival, I was greeted with a beautiful cabin, 20 of the most perfect roses ever, chocolates & the most fabulous wine!! I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. My husband & I had never had a honeymoon or for that matter we’d never been on a trip by ourselves. We have four amazing daughters, two of whom are autistic, so our trip taking was not in the cards until now. My husband was the sole provider and I was the caretaker and I wouldn’t change it for the world. The owners of the cabin went above and beyond. The housekeeper made a special trip just for “me” and the guest that were in the cabin before we arrived allowed my roses to be delivered early. Simple put, the most memorable & amazing time!! Thank you so much Phillip & Kelly!!

We had a really relaxing time at the cabin. It was clean and was exactly what we were expecting. The hot tub was great. We really enjoyed the closeness to the park and Gatlinburg. We did see bears a couple of times around the cabin and also had a paw print on our van. Philip was an excellent host and gave a lot of good information.

My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and High Haven was a great spot for that. Host responded instantly to any questions...we didn't have many, as his check-in instructions were very thorough! The cabin is nestled in the woods, but also very close to the park and the town, so the location is unbeatable. The hot tub was dreamy...and super clean!

Beautiful property in and around the cabin! The convenience of being close to town was nice. I’m from a flatter state so the drive was interesting for me. It was all paved to the cabin and the driveway was accessible, just some winding roads and mountain views along the way. I was excited about my chance to see a bear from the previous reviews. We seen one the first evening and two more while staying at the cabin! It is true about locking your car doors because the bear tried opening my door with his mouth. Most of our meals were cooked at the cabin. The hot tub was an added bonus for viewing the wildlife. A great horned owl flew right in front of us to another tree and hung out for awhile. I really appreciate nature and the cabin was perfect for it. This was one of our first vacations together and I’m happy we choose this spot! ♥️ the owner was also very responsive and reached out right away. This was my first time booking on vrbo and everything went smooth! 10/10 would recommend to my friends and family.

We’ve utilized VRBO properties in the past. This experience was second to none. Philip provided us more than adequate information right down to the details of what’s provided and what to expect when visiting this beautiful cabin and area. The location of the cabin is absolutely perfect. It’s conveniently located in an area which affords traffic free travel to downtown Gatlinburg (5 minutes), the entrance to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (5 minutes), and Pigeon Forge (20 minutes) while also feeling like your a million miles away from the hustle and bustle. The property allows for great viewing of black bears. We saw several including a mama bear with 3 cubs. We listened for and found the owls on property which were amazing to watch. The inside of the cabin has a warm feeling and is beautifully decorated with artwork which relate to the history of the magical Smoky Mountains. I could tell that the Owner maintains this property to a high standard. I can also assure you that this cabin Owner and Manager truly cares about the quality of your stay and time in the smoky’s. The information and recommendations he provided helped us with efficiency and ultimately allowed us more time to see more of what the area offers. With so much to see and do, and so much competition from other travelers, I felt I had a better understanding of an unfamiliar area and was thankful I found this property and this Owner. My husband and I and our grandson enjoyed our 2nd stay( with him) at beautiful High Haven. Our grandson always enjoys exploring in the Park and hiking. His favorite thing to do is be on " bear watch". The cabin did not disappoint...we saw bears daily and tge Mama and 3 cubs we saw several days. One evening she brought them across the driveway. As always we watched from a distance and enjoyed seeing them on the property. The cabin is perfect for us. It was as clean as it always is and we enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub in the evenings. We saw a barred owl a few nights as well. Its so quiet and peaceful we always enjoy our time at High Haven. We also enjoyed the North Chalet pool on this visit. Beautiful views and nice cool pools. We are booked again next year and cannot wait to relax and enjoy our summer vacation at High Haven.Thank you Phil and Kelly for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.
