The interiors were masterpieces. A brilliant combination of tradition and modern architecture. Electric slots were enough and the place was quite spacious, including cupboards. The bed and lighting were comfortable.

The entire experience was torn down by the behaviour of the receptionist/housekeeper Manju. We had to check in late as the room was not ready and even so, water from copper vessels was not replaced, and even were not provided with water bottles. The entire experience of the amazing interior could not cover the treatment towards us as the guests.

BEST hotel we stayed at during our month in Nepal! The room, which as large and tastefully decorated, had a real HEATER. The bathroom was also spacious. The shower had great water pressure and hot water. The bed was large and comfy. Our room didn’t include breakfast, but you could order breakfast from The Momo King (the owner of Heranya Yala also owns The Momo King). You place your order with the front desk the evening before and its served at the time you chose to eat breakfast. At first we were worried the food would arrive cold since the restaurant is a few blocks away, but it arrived hot and delicious. The restaurant’s menu is at the hotel so you know exactly what your meal will cost. Best part of our stay - the owner of the hotel gave us a complimentary tour of the neighborhood. The tour lasted 2 hours! We started in the hotel’s courtyard and then traveled from one hidden courtyard to another discovering the most amazing sights - stupas, temples, ancient buildings and much more. He even took us past his childhood home and the courtyard where they celebrated their son’s marriage. It was the best tour we’d been on. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you plan to stay in Patan, stay here!

Nothing. We liked everything about the hotel.

When I come to Kathmandu I stay always here. The bed is perfect. There is really hot water in the shower. The room is big and the WiFi connection is working very well. The price is great. The room is clean. The hotel is in the city but it is somehow on a very quite place. That was for sure not my last time here.

This is my favourite hotel here. The hot water is really hot, the air conditioning works, so do the power sockets, everything is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the price is brilliant. The internet is very good.

When we needed the staff they were not always at the reception. There was nobody, and the mobile number to reach out to was also not available / not seen for a while.
