Penthouse with amazing views of the bay & city with large private dipping pool
"Wow!" è il primo commento di tutti quando entrano nel nostro condominio recentemente ristrutturato. Non appena si entra nel condominio i tuoi occhi sono attratti a destra con la spettacolare vista sulla baia oltre la grande terrazza, con la sua grande piscina privata e la bellissima cascata. Prima di uscire sulla terrazza, vedi l'amaca di fronte ai pannelli scorrevoli in vetro che si aprono sulla piscina, che può aprirsi a destra oa sinistra per dare al condominio il concetto aperto. Ci sono anche pannelli di vetro dove si esce sulla terrazza. Aprili entrambi per una brezza meravigliosa e una vita all'aria aperta. Poi giri a sinistra e vedi la bellissima cucina "da chef" nuova di zecca che è ben attrezzata e allestita per intrattenere. Inoltre, quando entri nell'attico vedi il soffitto estremamente alto con i bellissimi ventilatori a soffitto. È un piano così aperto e ti senti come se fossi in cima al mondo. C'è quasi una vista a 360 gradi della baia e della città. Il condominio è stato ristrutturato nel 2018 ed è "straordinario", esclamano gli ospiti.
I panorami sono incredibilmente belli della baia e si affacciano sulla città. La spiaggia di Madera si trova proprio sotto l'edificio con la spiaggia di La Ropa e la città facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. C'è anche una piscina privata per il complesso al piano inferiore, ed è un ottimo posto per gli ospiti per fare amicizie durature con altri vacanzieri e proprietari.
Immagina di svegliarti e passare del tempo sul lato della baia a guardare le barche a vela, i taxi d'acqua che portano le persone ad altre spiagge, le persone che nuotano nella baia o fanno la passeggiata mattutina sulla spiaggia, così come i piccoli ristoranti sulla spiaggia che si preparano per la giornata. Proprio in fondo alla spiaggia c'è un posto sulla sabbia per il tuo meraviglioso massaggio. Puoi vederlo dalla terrazza. Terminare la giornata è altrettanto magico con tutte le luci scintillanti della città e delle luci della spiaggia e sentire le onde che martellano la spiaggia sottostante. È meraviglioso in qualsiasi momento della giornata su entrambi i lati del condominio.
Ci sono 3 terrazze sul lato della città, una nella master suite al piano superiore, una nella zona pranzo e una nella zona cucina con barbecue da utilizzare. I ristoranti sono molto vicini, così come un minimarket a mezzo isolato di distanza. L'edificio ha anche 24 ore di sicurezza.
Entrambe le camere matrimoniali hanno i loro nuovissimi ensuites e letti king size. Il piano superiore al piano superiore occupa l'intero piano superiore e ha il suo piccolo frigorifero e macchina per il caffè, nonché un'amaca per rilassarsi e leggere il tuo libro preferito. Il letto king size si affaccia sulla baia per una vista meravigliosa al risveglio per un'altra gloriosa mattina. La brezza scorre da un'estremità all'altra, insieme ai 2 bellissimi ventilatori a soffitto lo rendono molto confortevole.
Il maestro al piano di sotto si trova sul lato della città e ha il proprio aria condizionata, ma il ventilatore potrebbe essere tutto ciò che serve per stare comodo a causa delle meravigliose brezze.
La cucina è completamente nuova e ha un grande frigorifero, una stufa a gas a 6 fuochi e un bancone meravigliosamente grande con sgabelli da bar. Viene fornita acqua potabile purificata. C'è anche un tavolo da pranzo con 6 posti a sedere. C'è la connessione wifi e una TV a schermo piatto, nonché una cassaforte per bloccare i tuoi oggetti di valore.
C'è così tanto da fare o semplicemente non fare nulla. Potresti semplicemente conservare il frigorifero e rimanere nella tua oasi privata per giorni. Great area and location was central for easy access to town, restaurants, coffee shop and beaches. The penthouse was perfect, especially having a small pool all to ourselves. We would definitely come back again.

Stunning views, all 360 degrees of Zihuatanejo. Welcome dipping pool. Fully-stocked kitchen, two very comfortable bedrooms.
In the heat of Easter (31C every day this week) we kept comfortable by leaving all windows open, day and night. No bugs. Strong breezes all day.
Lots of stairs, in case that’s an issue for you (we loved the resultant views, and getting some exercise!!).

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location just steps away from the beach. Very safe, there is a security guard 24/7. Really enjoyed having our own pool to cool off in. The upstairs bedroom does not have AC and it did get pretty hot but cools off at night.

The penthouse was absolute paradise. The view and accommodations were breathtaking. The place was spacious and perfect location between town and the beaches. The cooling pool was fantastic!

This was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our 50th anniversary with family and friends over the Christmas holidays! We loved the apartment and all it had to offer from the soaking pool (enjoyed by the toddlers and old folks alike) to the kitchen and living space ideal for a large group! The fireworks on New Year's Eve were spectacular and the sunrises and sunsets can't be beat!

The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. were all stocked with anything we needed and more. The penthouse is also situated in the best possible location with downtown or La Ropa in easy walking distance. There was also 24/7 security at the building which felt very secure and safe, though the area felt extremely safe already. Our host Mary was also very quick to help us out with any questions we had throughout the trip and the property manager Carmen was very helpful as well. Our trip was truly a dream getaway and we can't wait to come back again!

We had stayed at another unit in Bahia Suites on a previous stay, so we were familiar with the complex. The penthouse is beautiful! It's the perfect combination of rustic, authentic charm, yet updated amenities. The private terrace and dipping pool are an incredible bonus. We left all the patio doors and windows open 24/7. There was a great though-breeze during the night for comfortable sleeping in the upstairs bedroom. Carmen was great, and even offered to drive us to our next accommodation, which was a gracious offer and nice surprise. Mary was super responsive from inquiry to booking to questions/concerns. We look forward to staying again, and have already inquired about future dates.

This was a vacation from hell! The place flooded twice, the first time due to leaving the doors and windows open....to get a breeze going through (we were told to by the property manager) the place is not air conditioned.....which we knew but what we didn't know is that if it rains you will have 2" of water throughout the whole condo. The second time it flooded was also due to rain, but this time we quickly closed all the doors and windows. The dipping pool then overflowed into the condo causing another 2" of water throughout. Both my husband and I slipped on the very slippery tiles and bruised our elbows and knees. They then drained the dipping pool leaving about 4" of stagnant water. On our 4th day I was sitting with my feet in the water to cool off and when I stepped out I slipped on the tiles and broke my arm in 2 places. We were promised maid service each day but she only came once, the day after we arrived. We didn't get clean towels or linens during our stay or even garbage bags. We saw cockroaches the size of my hand in the pull out couch in the living room and there were thousands of tiny ants all over the kitchen area. The kitchen is nowhere near the chef's dream kitchen as they state, there isn't even a dishwasher. It's nice to look at in the pictures but it certainly didn't live up to my expectations. If you aren't an athlete then the stairs will definitely be an issue.....not just to the condo itself but also to the beach....then there's a hill with at least a 25% grade to walk anywhere. I have used VRBO in the past and been very happy....this was NOT one of those times! We left early due to having surgery on my arm and feeling unwelcome afterwards. We checked into a hotel in Ixtapa, which added to the cost of our trip but due to the situation at the condo we had no choice. The building manager did take me to the hospital, but after tipping her quite well for her doing that we never saw her again. It was almost like they got angry at me for getting injured on their property due to their negligence! There should be non-slip tiles around the pool, the tiles are very slippery when wet which was most of the time. I paid alot of money for this trip to celebrate my birthday and my husband's retirement and it was a NIGHTMARE! No wonder there's only a few pictures...... I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

Everything written about the property is accurate. The penthouse was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a great stay in Zihua. It is a short walk to the town center or a quick taxi to LA Ropa. We will definitely come back!

Great location, 1 million dollar view! The place is fantastic my wife friends have an amazing time. You can find anything you need in the house. Highly recommended, downtown is just a few minutes walking distance, there is a few great restaurant down the street. I definitively go back to that place, the communication with the owner was great really responding any questions in a matter of minutes. Nothing to complain for far one of my best places ever!! Enjoy it you wont regret it!!

Great location, 1 million dollar view! The place is fantastic my wife friends have an amazing time. You can find anything you need in the house. Highly recommended, downtown is just a few minutes walking distance, there is a few great restaurant down the street. I definitively go back to that place, the communication with the owner was great really responding any questions in a matter of minutes. Nothing to complain for far one of my best places ever!! Enjoy it you wont regret it!!

The condo is amazing...everything as described and more. It was amazing sitting out on the deck having morning coffee looking out over the bay and hillsides surrounding it...so relaxing!! The dipping pool was so refreshing and just what we needed after a sunny hot day. Of course the main pool was very, very nice as well. Everything you need is there close by with some awesome restaurants within walking distance. I felt totally safe with Covid going on. Most places required masks, squirted you with hand sanitizer and took your temp before allowing you to enter. Much more cautious than here in our state. Mike & Mary are fantastic hosts I have utilized VRBO a number of times and they were the very best hosts and now new friends!! I will be coming back here again and so will the friends that came with me!!

WOW!!
4 adults stayed for 10 days. Check in was easy - Carmen met us at arrival. The property was perfect - clean, well equipped, great location, friendly staff on site, quiet, best view...the list is endless!! Booking was easy, communication was quick and we were able to get a late check out. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to return!!

We stayed there for 8 nights, what a fantastic place. We enjoyed the location, nice walks on the new Paseo de Pescador and over to La Ropa every day. The accommodations were great, comfortable beds and everything was super clean. It is 150 stairs from the sand to our bed which was not a problem for us but can be for others. No air conditioning in master bedroom, again we do not have A/C at home so were fine but it would be too warm to sleep for some people. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want and the dipping pool was a great place to cool down later in the afternoon. We hope to be back there again in the future.

Penthouse Bahia Suites Playa La Madera
"Oh My Gosh" When we arrived on the property, we were greeted by the friendliest security guard, maintenance man and the property manager Carmen. The entry to the property is a bit lack lustre, however upon opening the door of the Penthouse suite it was a breathtaking moment. The property was immaculate and so heartwarming, and very well equipped. The suite has 180 degree views from inside with decks and terraces on top and bottom floors. The patio and dipping pool with the incredible views of Madera Beach and downtown Zihautenjo were our favourite, The city views at the front of the suite were equally impressive and gives one a more accurate idea of how large Zihautenjo is. The location to restaurants, the German Bakery, Market, downtown shops, boat docks(for fresh fish) is so convenient even the Mega store is within walking distance.
Upon our arrival the property manager Carmen provided us with helpful local information and really promoted her city.
This is our third year staying in beautiful condos in Zihautenjo, this condo unit was by far our favourite and hopefully we will stay there again, Thank you Mary and Mike for allowing us a little piece of your paradise.

Excellent Choice
This property was almost perfect for our vacation. The reason I say almost is that the couple we travelled with had issues with the hill leading to the condo and the 4 flights of stairs within the building. I quite enjoyed them and used it as part of my daily exercise routine. You should be aware that if anyone in your party has mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Other than that I cannot think of any place I would rather be! The private pool was a godsend and perfect in every way. The unit was well equipped with quality appliances, utensils and dishes and the recent renovations gave everything a modern feel. The view is better than the pictures show and with decks on both sides of the penthouse you can always find sun or shade - whatever you like. The staff was amazing and so helpful in every aspect. I would certainly like to return to Zihua and particularity to the condo. Thank you for allowing us to share your wonderful space.

Amazing Condo
The owners were super responsive from the moment we submitted our request all the way until we headed back home from our vacation. Their propery manager, Carmen, was also very responsive handling our various Zihua-related questions during our stay and the doormen were super friendly. The condo has a gated security entrance staffed 24 hrs, so the doormen would let us in and out as we needed.
The unit is looks just as awesome in real life as you see in the pics. Updated super nice a year ago, I believe. We were there during the absolute hottest/muggiest time of the year so we slept in the air conditioned bedroom on the main floor. The huge master suite on the upper level, reachable via circular wooden staircase, was beautiful but unfortunately was too warm to sleep in during our stay. There were large slider windows on either side of the master suite to allow a really nice cross breeze, which would have been amazing during any other time of year except the summer hot season. We tried it out one night, but I sleep too warm and hand to abandon ship for the A/C bedroom. My wife, however, sleeps cooler and said she probably could have slept through the night if I hadn't been shifting around so dang much. :)
The condo is conveniently situated immediately next to a super nice white sand beach (Playa Madera), a 10 minute walk from a Mega (similar to Walmart) grocery store, and a 6-7 minute walk from Zihua's central business district, which is where all the local shops and restaurants are. We walked everywhere because it was so easy to do so.
The unit also has a very nice kitchen area with most all the basic utinsels you'd need to cook whatever you want there in the room. We made breakfast there almost every day and ate out for all other meals. Really enjoyed sitting on one of the two north-facing balconies enjoying our breakfast and coffee each morning.
Our favorite aspect of the condo was the beach-facing balcony, complete with appx 10'x10'x18"deep cooling pool. The view of the bay was incredible but the cooling pool was an absolute delight (and necessity). It was so hot, our pool was actually cooler than the water at the beach itself! Needless to say, we spent a lot of time staying close to the pool!
All in all, we had a fantastic experience and plan on coming back to stay again.

Fantastic!
This rental is a real beauty. It's exactly as described here; very roomy, sparkling clean, well appointed, good beds and a view like no other. We absolutely love this area of Zihua and this suite made for a perfect vacation. The 2 balconies have terrific views and we spent lots of time on both. The dipping pool on the main balcony was perfect for hot days and warm evenings. Everything is very close by: convenience/beer store, beach, ATM, restaurants, taxis, etc. The owner, manager and building staff all provided excellent communication and service. We dined out many times - they were all good - shout out to Restaurante Madera (right on the beach on the sand) and La Tasca (short walk down the Fishermans Walk). I would highly recommend this rental. I'll never ever forget that view!
