We had a great time here for a quick family getaway. It was a perfect size home and a quick walk to the beach.

We absolutely loved this house. First time we haven’t stayed right on the beach, but the walk was easy. House was very nice, lots of space! We’ll definitely come here again.

Upon booking this property, I didn't know it wasn't in Galveston,Tx. When searching in Vrbo, I requested Galveston Tx only, not nearby properties, but this property was provided. I didn't receive a booking confirmation and found out the location on check-in day. The owner processed a partial refund. Regardless, my family and I enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. The location was so far out, though, that there wasnt any restaurants or gas stations nearby. Also you had to pay $2 dollars, to cross some little bridge to get to the home.( you have to pay $2 to the home a back to Galveston every time) The one restaurant close by did have some great food. Also, it was very quiet at the home due to being so far from Galveston. Thank you, and I pray God blesses you!

We are very happy we found this place! It was so clean and really had everything we were looking for (space, clean, beach access). The location was a 3 minute walk from the beach. From the deck, we could hear and see the surf. We had plenty of towels, dishes, soap, etc). Communication with the homeowners was great. No complaints! For those not familiar with the area, it is helpful to know that it is a ~40 min drive to The Strand and/or Galveston proper. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

We would definitely come back and stay here. The only recommendation I would make is to communicate the location of the beach a little clearer in the description. Pictures are kind of misleading. Makes it look like the beach is right out front. Other than that, the house was clean, WELL stocked and perfect for our family. Neighborhood was great and neighbors were friendly and helpful. Will stay again!

Lisa made the process to book and arrive simple and easy. The home is wonderfully located in a quiet neighborhood where you can see the gulf, hear the waves, and easily walk on the beach. The home is beautifully decorated to reflect the peace and serenity of beach life. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked and met our very need. Lisa was always available to help or answer questions, as was Ken who lives next door and helps Lisa maintain the property. We had a fabulous week and highly recommend this property! Our family enjoyed the stay at your home. We liked the set up, how easy it’s to access the beach.

Our family of six (grandparents, parents, a toddler and infant) had a wonderful time at this beautiful vacation property. The house was spotless and well equipped and Lisa provided detailed information about the area. She was very responsive to our questions beforehand and was quick to help when we couldn’t locate the beach chairs. (She had a neighbor bring some by immediately as the others were inadvertently locked up.) The beach was close enough that we walked over twice a day with the little ones. Check-in and checkout were both a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

We rented this property with another family for a last minute weekend getaway… it worked out perfectly. The house is well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. my only issue was we kept running out of plates but we were a party of 8 and I should have brought some paper plates. It’s wasn’t a big deal as we could hand wash quickly or run the dishwasher. There were some spices on the counter (which we didn’t need/use) but everything else in the kitchen was cleaned out - I prefer that because I don’t want a bunch of random left over items in fridge or pantry but just make sure you bring foil, ziplocks or anything else you typically use in kitchen. The porch is has a great view of the water and was lovely to sit and hang out - just bring bug spray - it’s Galveston and the mosquitos are huge. Communication with owners was prompt and easy. Overall, great experience.

Perfect location for a relaxing beach getaway. We spent a few days with our family and this house had everything we needed. A well-stocked kitchen, lots of amenities, and plenty of room for our party of 6 (4 adults and two teenagers). A short walk to the beach and lovely views of the water from the deck. We will definitely book again!

A fantastic quiet beach get away. Clean house a short walk from a quiet beach. Our family of 6 plus dog enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving stay here and had no complaints at all. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful in getting us set up and taken care of.

The location was perfect for our family stay! Quiet yet friendly! Easy access to the great beach we had! Rent a golf cart, you’ll have a blast and won’t regret it! The house was so nice to stay in! Everything we needed! Really cozy place! We had planned to use their BBQ but unable to find it! Called the host, the last storm washed it away! Our host was the best. She worked around every corner until she was able to get a BBQ delivered to us! We’ve rented for a number of years and never had any host work so hard to make sure we were satisfied and happy! Always a great stay! Lovely well appointed home close to quiet beach!

Our visit was during peak summer times and we were pleasantly surprised to find a relatively private beach so closely located to the house. The house was very clean and we really liked the layout. Another great feature of the house was excellent high speed internet which allowed me to work remotely. Overall I would highly recommend this property and we are planning to book again in the future.

Our family hand friends had a great stay. House was very clean and well stocked with helpful supplies. Just a short walk to the beach ~3-5 minutes. Check in and check out couldn’t be easier. Everyone loved this super cozy house. Plenty of room for 2 families! Make sure to bring bug spray!

We loved this beach home. I researched a lot of places before picking this one and so glad we did. As mentioned in other reviews it is very clean, updated, nicely decorated, and fully stocked. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We had 4 adults and 2 kids under 5 and the beach home fit us perfect. I was concerned the view of the beach would not be enough since it is 3 rows back but there is a good view off the deck and then off to both sides of the porch of the ocean. The only drawback in my opinion was the beach. There were strong rip tides compared to when we stayed on Jamaica Beach in the past. With 2 little ones that was concerning, so we didn't go in the water much. But the beach is more private/not crowded so there are pros and cons to both. We would for sure come back, thank you for sharing your home with us!

Ownership was very responsive each step of the way. The house is very nice, clean, comfortable, and located just a block from the beach entrance. The views are outstanding from the deck OR the kitchen table with a bay style kitchen window configuration that takes advantage of the house's unique panoramic vantage point. The upstairs master offers privacy and also has a great view with it's own deck and same bay style window configuration. My family truly felt at home here. You can rent a golf cart from one of the local rental services, but we found it was not necessary. I hope your stay is as enjoyable as ours was. We will definitely look to rent this place again!

This was a great family getaway! The beach was a quick two minute walk (approximately 100 yards). The property was beautiful. The surrounding neighbors all seemed to be family oriented as well. If your looking for something low key and family oriented, book this property. Will definetly be back again.

This has been our favorite property by far in the area! The home is impeccably clean and beautiful. It has everything you will need for a nice stay (loved all the board games and puzzles) and the location was great! The area of the beach we were at was never full. Check in and out was a breeze. Our whole family (4 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids) really enjoyed our stay, can’t say enough good things about it. Can’t wait for our next trip down here! Will stay here again!

Excellent Find. The property was immaculate and obvious care went into anticipating every need we would have. The beach is easily accessible and if you love to fish this is a great spot to access some great fishing areas. Lovely view and quiet neighborhood. Will definitely book again!

The house was perfect for our first ever family beach trip. We brought our 3-year-old son and his 1-year-old baby brother and stayed with another family with their two young children. They took the upstairs master suite, and we stayed in the two downstairs bedrooms, which made for comfortable arrangements for each family. We spent most of our time in the main room or out on the enclosed deck, which offered plenty of space for the whole group. We saw beautiful sunrises, and the light on the colorful stilted houses in the evening felt like something out of a painting, made all the more pleasant with the gentle sounds of the nearby ocean.The beach was just a short walk from the house, making it possible for us to take the babies back for their naps while the others stayed with the toddlers. The sand is very densely packed, so we were able to carry everything we needed in our bike trailer. This made it possible to go as far as we needed to avoid crowds and set up camp for the day. That said, the nearby beach was not particularly crowded, even for spring break, and it was mostly families with young children. The kids had the time of their lives chasing the gentle shore break back and forth and digging in the sand with their construction toys.We would definitely come back for another visit! Our kids were sad to leave, which just goes to show how much the house began to feel like home. We are also extremely grateful to the hosts who generously worked with us as the past year through plenty of curve balls that derailed our original plans. I cannot say enough good things about the house and the owners. Thank you for a wonderful beach vacation.

Looked just like the pics! Great Find! Had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and rooms. They even had board games and puzzles. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Provided any information to local stops. Great info! Fell in love with the upstairs master suite, entire floor to ourselves and separate small patio. Patio furniture was great and very sturdy. Lots of little signs throughout the house with friendly reminders. Only one small downside - the bedroom tvs said no signal and didn't work.
