One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Absolutely immaculate with so many thoughtful touches (flowers, tissues, snacks, quality info booklet). Communication was excellent and recommendations for eating and activities were spot on. Will definitely return.

Beautiful location! We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and enjoyed relaxing both inside and outside this seaside cottage. It is very well equipped and the hosts are very welcoming. We’re hoping to return again next year! Plus, you need to try out MacDonald’s Bakery in Montague - so many delicious treats to pick from!! Enjoy!!

This spot did not disappoint! We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and numerous walks on the beach. The place was spotless with all the creature comforts - we cooked, and relaxed. Tracy and Jerry’s Sunshine Beach House is a rare gem - sparkling clean and very tastefully decorated. All amenities are in excellent condition; the kitchen is perfectly equipped and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. We love to cook and had everything we needed to cook our meals - just like home! Sunshine Beach House is located mere steps from the water. Walking on the ocean floor, at low tide, is priceless!! Coffee on the deck, watching the sun rise to the sound of the ocean, is amazing! And, the sunsets are spectacular! Tracy is truly a super host-very personable and welcoming. Her attention to detail is truly remarkable! There were lots of brochures and helpful information on what to see and do. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay at the ocean! We spent the most amazing 10 days here! It was too short! We highly recommend Tracy and Jerry as hosts and their property, Sunshine Beach House, for a wonderful holiday in Belle River, PEI! Staying at Sunshine Beach House was a wonderful experience. The property is well maintained and our host Tracy is a very talented artist and it is evident in how the house is decorated. Warm, welcoming and very well stocked, the house is located on a bluff above the beach overlooking the Northumberland Strait. A beautiful setting. The house is located close to several picturesque lighthouses and the Northumberland Ferry to Nova Scotia. Charlottetown is just a 50-60 minute drive away. Lastly, Tracy was an excellent host. Timely in her responses and very welcoming. All our questions were handled quickly and efficiently. This property is a gem and one to definitely consider if coming to PEI. If traveling with more than two, do take note that there is just one bathroom to share. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Sunshine Beach House is quite literally the best experience we had renting a cottage - ever. The property is absolutely immaculate, and stunningly gorgeous. The decor is beautiful. It’s obvious that a lot of thought went into making sure that guests are comfortable and there are so many little touches that go above and beyond. The cottage is in a great spot, feels private, but it really close to so many destination spots. We enjoyed lobster rolls at Treena’s, hikes on the Confederation Trail, days in Charlottetown and being able to pop down to the Red & White for quick grocery pick ups. Tracy and Jerry were always quick to respond to any questions, and provided a ton of information about the area. This made making decisions about where to go and what to see so much easier. Thank you both once again for a heavenly week - we’d consider ourselves lucky to be able to visit you again!!!

We had a wonderful experience at the Sunshine Beach House! The house is beautifully decorated, with a view from every window that cannot be beat! It was so calming to have that gorgeous water view - we loved sitting out on the spacious deck and exploring the beach only a few steps away. The house has all the amenities you need, which made our trip even more relaxing. It truly felt like being at home! Tracy went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely vacation, and she was so helpful and timely with any communication. Her suggestions in the guest book were excellent - we even went horseback riding on a beautiful trail! The house has a great location - close to Wood Islands, a cidery and winery, and the great towns of Montague and Georgetown. It was also not a long drive to all the fun in Charlottetown. Would recommend this house to all - we will be back!

The house was immaculate and decorated so beautifully. The kitchen had everything we needed for when we wanted to cook. The property is in a quiet area and it was delightful being able to walk the beach everyday. Everything together made this a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. Can't wait to go again!

This home was the perfect home away from home. The hosts thought of everything (read the recommendations in the welcome book!). I was delighted to discover supplies to make pour over coffee, and my hubby was pleased to have his brewed in a pot. Our teenagers were in heaven with a much better internet connection than expected, and our 3 year old was thrilled by the pile of sand at the top of the path that led to the beach (a spot that allowed the parents to enjoy time sitting in the yellow chairs without worrying about him jumping in the ocean). The beds were amazingly comfy, and the furniture thoughtfully selected - I could have slept on the couch quite happily. The location is very close to the ferry to Nova Scotia, so keep that in mind if you are planning to island hop. GREAT spot - plan on staying a while!

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren playing on the beach. They played soccer on the grass and the house is beautiful, like out of a magazine. Falling asleep listening to the waves was magical, and lovely sunsets. Ate chowder and lobster rolls from Point Prim on a few occasions! A special place to make memories. Karen Watts

We had been looking forward to staying at the Beach House for so long and it far exceeded our expectations!! Hosts: The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. We were lucky enough to meet them walking on the beach and they were so lovely. They seemed so genuine and excited for us to spend our with there. Throughout this whole process they have been so amazing and helpful. Property: The property was incredible. Everything is styled so beautifully while still being warm and inviting. It is both exactly like the pictures and somehow more. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly need and I mean everything! Parents don’t worry there are tons of things for your kids to use, they’ve thought of everything. I found myself wandering around taking note of things I wanted to find to bring back home. I have a kettle being shipped as we speak! The views are stunning, especially at sunset and you can hear the waves at night from the main bedroom. The Beach: There is absolutely nothing better than being literally right on a beach. While PEI has lots of beautiful beaches, if you have kids not having to pack up everything and drive to a beach or walk a mile down a dirt road is worth everything! It was sandy and the kids enjoyed swimming and building sandcastles. The highlight however was whenever the tide went out. We found sea glass galore, beautiful shells and even a message in the bottle. We walked for miles finding treasures, digging for clams and playing with little hermit crabs. It was such a magic experience. The location: We purposefully picked the east side of the island to get away from the crowds in the centre of the island and to enjoy quieter, warmer, waters and we don’t regret it at all. We went out exploring almost every day and found amazing beaches, lighthouses and parks. We enjoyed talking to locals and finding quiet and delicious places to eat. We did go visit Anne of Green Gables and even with small children the drive wasn’t that long. I’m sure all parts of PEI are beautiful, but I will always have a place in my heart for this quiet corner full of people who live and love this island year round. I had a list of things to see and do spread around the island and 90% of it was checked off just on our beach. The week was practically perfect and filled our hearts so much. We are so thankful for opportunity to stay here.

Sunshine Beach House was beautiful and made my trip home to PEI even better. A beautiful property with a stunning view and a great beach on the ocean and a cottage with great owners who really take care of every detail. My friend and I loved it. When you arrive at a rental property, you hope it’s as good as the photos in the listing. We had high expectations arriving at the Sunshine Beach House, and the property exceeded them! What a wonderful spot. So airy, and you can see the water from all the south and east-facing windows. You can hear the waves on the shore as you go to sleep and as you wake up. The house has been carefully decorated—well appointed, but casual and comfortable. It’s all the details that stick with us: the kitchen is *fully* stocked; everything in the house is labeled and exactly where you hoped it would be; there’s an outdoor shower for washing off sand and salt; there are beach shoes in the shed; there’s a tide clock, so you know how soon the water will turn. The hosts are terrific. Friendly, responsive to inquiries, happy to pass on suggestions, a delight to deal with. 10/10.

You could not find a more perfect vacation spot than Sunshine beach house. Our hosts thought of and provided everything we could need, the space is very clean, very comfortable and perfectly situated on a quiet stretch of beach. Good location for day trips around the island. Can’t wait to come back.

We couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay at Sunshine Beach House! Even before we arrived, Tracy was in touch was some great tips and recommendations. The house is big, absolutely immaculate, perfectly located, beautifully decorated, and has literally everything you could ever need on a vacation (and all of it was perfectly organized, too). Tracy and Jerry were kind enough to connect with some expert local tips on clamming (right in the "backyard"!!) and even delivered some cream for our coffee when we didn't have any. The house was a bit far from some of the things we wanted to do, but that didn't stop us from exploring the island. Plus ... we wouldn't have had nearly as peaceful and as clam-filled a visit had we stayed in a busier part of the island, so the extra few minutes of driving on occasion was well worth it! Absolutely can't wait to go back to Sunshine Beach House and hopefully stay for even longer next time. What an amazing way to kick off our summer!!

A year ago I decided I would take a dream vacation somewhere on the ocean. I found the Sunshine Beach House on the Internet, and never having been to PEI before, decided to give it a try. Well every expectation went beyond my dreams. Not only did I find a lovely house on the sea, everything was so nice: cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, a view of the sea from every window of living quarters, Tracy making regular checks on my comfort! I will never forget my daily 6 km walks on Stewart Beach, (5 minutes away by car) looking out for seals, and swimming right in front of the house upon returning. 28 days of sunshine(!) and pure delight.
