The property was beautiful. Great location in old town Chiang Mai. Even though we were in the middle of town the hotel felt like we were in our own little world. The staff was especially friendly and accommodating. They always greeted us in a cheerfully.

This property is a must visit. It has everything that you could want, not to mention just how absolutely gorgeous it is. The staff are so incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help & made us feel so incredibly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyday there was an activity, ranging from watercolor painting to Thai food. Stunning. Breakfast was a treat, once again the staff bent over backwards to help & it was almost that they could see us coming & our coffee order was waiting for us. The pool & garden surrounds were beautiful. The property as a whole is beautiful & I highly recommend it. I have no hesitations on going back there.

L'exotisme de l'hôtel. Son emplacement pour visiter la ville. Excellente literie. Le personnel est très gentil et disponible. La piscine est un vrai bonheur après une journée de marche. Le petit déjeuner est servi à table et à volonté.

Le bruit permanent autour de l'hôtel qui n'est pas insonorisé. Le manque de transats à la piscine et l'état général des fauteuils de jardin et terrasse... à remplacer en urgence.

Fantastic hotel with traditional terracotta art theme decor. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and gardens relaxing. Well run and organised with friendly and accommodating staff. The location is close to food markets & sights. The pool suites have balconies that open directly onto the pool area and rooms on higher levels with serene outlook to mountains

The only drawback was the unreliable WiFi, which was a bit frustrating at times. However, this minor inconvenience didn't significantly detract from an otherwise wonderful stay.

Immaculate facilities, relaxing and peaceful. Staff is incredibly kind and truly makes an effort to make you feel pampered! Perfect location!

It would be nice to be able to use the pool at night, but I understand that there are rooms just next to it and those guests also deserve some rest!

It was so so welcoming. You were greeted at the door and the check in was very smooth. They were very helpful in booking excursions and gave good advice. We were there for 3 nights. The bed was very comfortable and a nice touch was the little gift they left on the bed for us. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Location wise it was ideal for the night markets.

There isn’t anything much negative to say. If I had to say one almost negative thing it would be that the pool area could do with being a bit bigger. But there is nothing that can be done about that anyway. So I guess I’m just picking fault because I need to!!

Beautiful little hotel - right inside the old town of chiang mai. Well within walking distance of main temples, night market and numerous bars and restaurants - but still quiet. Helpful staff - Lovely pool

Lors de notre séjour à Chiang Mai, nous avons séjourné au Phor liang. Je tiens à souligner tout particulièrement la chaleur et l'amabilité du personnel : leur accueil était non seulement professionnel mais aussi extrêmement chaleureux, ce qui a rendu notre expérience inoubliable. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est un autre point fort majeur. Situé à proximité de tout ce que Chiang Mai a à offrir, il nous a permis d'explorer facilement la ville. Que ce soit pour les marchés locaux, les temples historiques ou les restaurants . Quant à l'ambiance de l'hôtel, elle peut être décrite comme véritablement cocooning. Il y règne une atmosphère de confort et de bien-être qui invite à la détente après une journée d'exploration. Les espaces communs et les chambres sont décorés avec goût, contribuant à une expérience des plus agréables.

We absolutely loved our time here! The staff was amazing, the room and surroundings were so clean and comfortable. Well worth the cost. Restaurants nearby and so much to do. Loved it!

The beds were a little firmer than what I’m used to but of course that’s a very personal preference and the AC in our room was not working as it should have so the nights got a little warm for us but overall it was nice and the staff came and helped with the AC as soon as we requested it.

Great location near to old city and important temples but in a quiet corner of the area. No restaurant but only a few minutes walk from good places to eat. At lunchtime they have a cooking class free for guests so you get your little snack and free teas and coffee all day. Nespresso machine in the room. Area feels less touristy than other parts of the city. Swimming pool is in shady garden which is great in hot weather and big enough to swim properly. Also very clean pool area. The building shows unique terracotta pottery art and is beautifully designed and presented. Staff is genuinely welcoming and always there to help.

Breakfast could have more different food for selection.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Great location with restaurants and markets nearby. Pool was a peaceful spot to cool off. No complaints whatsoever.

Great property value for money . I saw mixed comments about the hotel however I would say it punched above its 3 star . Very clean we had room 314 which looked out to the hills , nice balcony and quiet . Good location for the old town and in fairness we walked to the night market but it’s only 100 baht in a Tuk tuk . The pool was nice only 8 beds but we always had one . Breakfast was simple but enough choice . The staff are very friendly and professional . Opposite there is a great restaurant called faces they do fab cocktails
