We've stayed several times and would certainly stay again! We had a minor repair issue during this stay (never before), which was quickly resolved and with fantastic communication.

Our family of 8 had a great weekend on the lake with the fun watercraft. While the house needs some updating (refrigerator leaks water, DVD player didn’t work, some musty spaces, broken shades, etc.), none of those dampened our spirits. Be aware that bottled water is recommended by the host because tap water is UV treated lake water. Also, none of us had cell service. Overall, it was a good spot for a family getaway, though - clean, roomy, lots of activities and a beautiful view.

Beautiful spot with remarkable views from yard and windows of the home. Cozy. Offered a lot of entertainment from water equipment to playing pool. All and All a fun captivating escape. Thank you.

We had a great time, couldn’t keep any of us off the lake. We used some of the provided water toys and our own ski boat. Watched great meteorological shower from the dock and lawn. Kitchen worked for all our meals, sometimes with 4 people working at the same time. Extra fridge and pool table, ping pong table were great hits! Thanks Bobbie!

This was my family’s 3rd year returning to Bobbi’s beach house. We absolutely love it! Location is perfect! Fun was had by all!

We enjoyed the large home for our family. It was nice to have bedrooms for the couples and a bunk room for the girls and plenty of mattresses for the guys. The house was stocked well and had the cooking items we needed. The pool table, air hockey and ping pong were fun for the evenings. We enjoyed all the lake toys and the great dock to swim and fish off of. The lake was very peaceful and relaxing. Bobbi was a great host who was responsive and helpful. We would stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Large cabin with plenty of places to sleep for our group. Enjoyed the billiards and ping pong table on a day of rain and the boats and lake and BBQ when it was nicer out.

Thus place works well for our group of 16. Bedrooms for 3 couples + a girls room, guys in the den. Beautiful spot on the water

Our family spent 3 nights at Bobbi’s lake house and had a fabulous time. Linen, pillows and towels were plenty and the kitchen was well stocked. Bobbi allowed us to check in early and was a gracious host. Would definitely go back. The fire pit, indoor games and water equipment provided us with awesome entertainment. Thanks Bobbi

As always, everything was perfect. We've stayed before and will certainly stay again. This is a wonderful rental for a large family stay - well appointed, stocked kitchen, gas grill, everything you need!

Bobbi’s Lake House fit the needs of our group of 9 women perfectly. We had a great time gathering in the large kitchen/dining/living room and we all slept comfortably in the numerous bedrooms. The outside gathering spaces also worked well for our group and we appreciated having the kayaks, peddle boat and other lakes toys to use. Unfortunately the weather was not the best, so we were not able to swim, but the ping pong table and other activities made up for the weather. Bobbi was great to deal with and was excellent with communication regarding the property. The only thing I would add, that might sound negative, would be the fact that the house needs updating. There is a musty smell in the basement that I’m sure is because of the carpet and the house being on the lake. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars. Thank you for sharing your lake home.

The house and all of the water fun was perfect for our family. Enough private rooms for everyone and a big living room/kitchen area for gathering. The inside game tables were a big hit too! The lake was warm and didn’t have too much “traffic”. At night we sat by the fire and looked at all of the stars. We would love to come back again!

I have rented many homes over the years, and this would be the first time I had to meet the owner at check-in. The owner met us at the home and gave us a walk through of the home. I can understand the owner wanting to meet the renters, but it’s not a common thing. A door code and keyless entry is preferred. After my week long visit I have a lot of suggestions…. 1. Thoroughly clean the home. 2. All Linens that cannot be washed/sterilized in between renters should be taken out of the home. 3. Invest in pillows that can be placed in washer an dryer, like “My Pillows”. 4. Thoroughly inspect all water toys in between renters. Fix or replace if water logged. (Doesn’t matter if replaced one year ago). Renters pay a lot of money to rent the home and deserve for everything in the advertisement/description to be in good working order. Expect to replace water toys often, if you have a popular rental. 5. Do something about the garage. It smells terrible, like mold and mildew. The garage doors look moldy. It is dirty and hard to breathe in there. 6. Provide recycle containers. We used all trash cans provided because we didn’t have a recycle bin to use. 7. Provide disposable sponges and sos pads for hand dish washing. 8. Change out the labels on the light switches, they’re too dark to read. 8. Organize the cabinets. Labeling may help keep them organized. 9. Provide more washcloths and towels per bathroom. 10. Provide beach towels for the lake. 11. Replace the leather furniture on main floor. It is uncomfortable. 12. Provide a DVD player for main level living area. 13. Provide a larger, flat screen for master bedroom and dvd player. 15. Swap the carpet on ground floor for tile. This will help to eliminate or control the odor. People walk in and out of the home after using the lake. The floor should be tile. 16. Please include in the description that the boat launch can close. This will help/deter renters who wish to bring a boat. It will save renters from needing to cancel reservation last minute. I was told boat launch was closed when I had no opportunity to cancel my reservation. Glad I had no plan to bring a boat. 17. Dogs can escape the yard. Improvements are needed to the fencing. 18. The two main floor double doors and the two ground floor double doors need some work. They jiggle too much, and I suspect a person could break in too easily. This home is a diamond in the rough.

This is the perfect place for our family vacation! The kids could just walk out and jump in the lake any time, and we could watch easily from the house or beach. The living room was big enough for all of us to gather, and the fire pit area was great for evening hangouts. The dock is in great shape, with a fun diving board and ladder. The paddleboards and floaties were fun to try out. The kitchen has a great layout, and it was fun to use the outdoor grill as an option. We loved our time, and hope to come back!

Swimming, eating, and relaxing in a lake front home, with plenty of room for everyone in our family. Good time!

This is our 3rd year staying at Bobby’s lake house on lake Cavanaugh and we absolutely love it!! The house is perfectly situated right on the lake, lots of fun water toys to enjoy, or just lay out and sun bath. The kids have blast! Bobby is the perfect host, so kind and welcoming! We look forward to returning soon.

This was our third time at the lake house, and as before we left with great memories and a wonderful time there!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend 4 days with our family for Thanksgiving, my 60th and my mom's 80th! We lost power Thanksgiving morning but Bobbi installed a new generator, ran us through starting it up and wallah, all power restored except for the heat pump. We were able to get a fire going with the wood she left us and it was nice and toasty. We saw 4 otters riding the white caps, swimming and playing right in front of the house for about 40 minutes. With the weather bad and no internet or satellite we had no problem keeping ourselves busy with the games they provide and the ones we brought. This unplugged, electronic free weekend was just what the family needed at a fantastic home. Thank you Bobbi, we hope to be back!!!

We had so much fun celebrating a friend's birthday here. We were a group of 4 families ranging in age from 5 to 57 and even in the October rain there was plenty to keep everyone busy. Kayaking, p pool, ping pong, jumping in the lake, hiking and biking around it were some of the highlights. We sure hope to come back!

This was a great spot for our group of 10. Bobbi was very communicative and it was a smooth process. A lot to do and the view every morning was to die for. We would definitely stay again. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the wifi. They have wifi it is just a little weak. We were hoping to do a bit of work while we were there but the wifi did not support that. This spot is truly an unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle kind of spot. We very much enjoyed the stay.

We had an amazing weekend at this house. There is so much to do and being right on the water was incredible!

Value for $ is unbeatable. We've stayed here multiple summers with our family and have created amazing, life-long memories here. Love the lake/toys/location! Bobbi is a fantastic hostess.

Three generations of our family have been staying at Bobbi’s for the past four years. We always find plenty to do and love the dock!

First of all i’d like to say the location of this property is perfect. Right on the lake. There’s is plenty of room for a multi family trip. The whole lay out of this house worked very well for us. The unfortunate truth. The description of what is offered is inaccurate. It states there is a canoe 2 paddle boards and 4 kayaks. (of different sizes) This is not the case. The Canoe is broken and looks like it have been for many years. The paddle boards are water logged and extremely heavy and can not be used. The river kayak does not have a seat to sit on so the was not used. What was left was the peddle boat and 3 small kayaks, which worked fine, everyone enjoyed them. The other broken water toys should be removed and not included in the advisement of the rental. The inside of the house is surface clean. There is black mold in the downstairs bathroom behind the toilet and around the bass boards. There is constant cold air running at all times. The downstairs carpet is damp and in some areas wet. Which makes the downstairs an ice box at night. The blankets smell horrible, like body odor. It seems as if They have not been laundered for many weeks or months. It was alarming. The clean up requirements state what ever blanket you use from the closet just fold them up and put them back. They need to be washed. The blinds in the queen bedroom downstairs are broken. There is a bad mold and damp musty smell everywhere. The Garage is rotting and the smell is sickening. In order to go in there I suggest opening the garage doors to air it out. The owner places air freshest throughout the house, which just adds to the nasty odor. If you are immune deficient Be aware of the mold and dampness. The rental needs some love and deep cleaning. And the black mold needs to be addressed asap. It could get people sick. But all in all we had a great time, and our crew was laid back about most things.

The house had everything! Beds were comfortable!! Tons of space and we all had a blast! We had kids from ages 8-12 and they had a fantastic time. The lake was very clean and relaxing. Only issue was a musty smell in the garage, we just left the garage open when using the games in there. Bobbi was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!!

The stay was fantastic. A little odor in the downstairs area.. some mold in the downstairs bathroom. Other than than great!

Beautiful location with fun activities for all ages. The property is a bit dated . The canoe had a hole letting water in the boat when we were in the middle of the lake. We loved the dock and water toys. Kitchen is well stocked. Everyone from 5 to 63 had a great time.

We stayed at Bobbi’s house for 5 days in July and we were lucky enough to hit the warm weather. We had a family reunion and what an amazing place to visit and swim. Enough room for all of our grown adult children and Grandchildren. Plenty of indoor activities, like pool, darts, air hockey, and table tennis. The outdoor activities included paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boat, and a wonderful diving board. We are already planning our trip next year. Thanks Bobbi for the great memories. Margo
