Everything you could hope for and imagine. April ws very attentive and responded immediately when texted. Place was girgeous and very clean. I would definitely reccomend anyone to stsy here. I will definitely be back.

Stone Creek Cabin Retreat had everything we needed to enjoy our stay; we'd love to come back again sometime and stay longer. My bridesmaids and I enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning, soaking in the hot tub in the evening, and just sitting in the spacious living area catching up and sharing stories. You have a wonderful, BEAUTIFUL property, and we thank you for sharing it with us!

Property was very clean and unique. The hot tub was great and all the outdoor seating was very nice. All the beds were soft and clean. The bathrooms were extremely nice.

Great cabin! 6 of us from our college days. Plenty of room. Close to tons of stuff but isolated enough to enjoy privacy. Host was awesome!

Stone Creek Cabin was the perfect place for our family to get away from it all. With plenty of porches, decks and outdoor seating we read and spent time outside. With the games, kitchen and abundant space, we enjoyed time together inside. Everyone had their own room to retreat to when they wanted time alone. We found the cabin much nicer than what the pictures can convey. We had a great time and want to go back in the future.

Absolutely loved this place, it’s beautiful and tranquil. My wife and I loved the fire pit at night followed by a hot top dip on the top deck. The cabin has a ton to look at and take in.

Our family of 8 had booked this property a year & a half in advance to see the total eclipse. The property was as beautiful as the photos. The "double decker gazebo" was where we spent the most time as it was our favorite spot! Kitchen was well stocked. 2 of the bathrooms had the toilets separate, which is great with a large group of people. Although fair warning if you are very tall you may have a bit of an issue using the water closets. Hot tub is conveniently located right outside 2 of the bedrooms. April was quick to respond to my numerous questions & very patient.

Great place for a getaway for two families of four. Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit (s’mores), and the games in the garage. Golfed at Champions Pointe and found a good hiking trail at KT Pixley. Host was super responsive and was able to accommodate an early check-in.

Stone Creek was just as described. Very enjoyable experience. Group of friends came out to see the National Farm machinery show and we weren’t looking to stay in the city this was just perfect for that.

Property and house were exactly as described and even more beautiful in person. The best part of the whole stay was, April, the homeowner. There were a couple small things needed in the kitchen and she had them replaced immediately. More importantly she communicated with us. We loved our stay and using it as "headquarters" for our daughter's wedding. Beautiful experience. Thank you. Hope to stay again.

We loved everything about this house!!! It was just close enough to the city but have that "country" vibe. So relaxing. The house had so many games, puzzles, and other activities our kids were so entertained they didn't want to go adventure around town.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. Loved the outdoor amenities- spent nights by the fire and in the jacuzzi! Game room was perfect for everyone also.

This property was exactly how it was depicted in the listing!! April was an amazing host who was always in contact with us. The property was beautiful and had a tucked away log cabin feel. Three level deck, controlled fire pit and hot tub were exciting. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Louisville. Oh…and check out the movie that was filmed at Stone Creek. A fun movie experience knowing it was filmed in the home. Definitely a 5/5 star review! Thanks April.

We stayed at the cabin for a family vacation. We went to 2 different caves, visited the science center for kids in Louisville, went to several different parks, went to Hubers family farm and orchard where the kids had a blast in the kids park, and we went to the splash pad in downtown Louisville. The kids had a great time. We also enjoyed spending time at the cabin where the kids could run around the yard, ride bikes and scooters on the driveway and we made a sidewalk chalk obstacle course on the driveway for the kids to enjoy. We were hoping the kids could play in the creek but unfortunately it has been dry there and so it was dried up during our stay. Overall we had a great time. The cabin was amazing and fit our family well.

What a wonderful rental! The cabin presents as pictured. It is clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all the necessities. It is set up for relaxing fun~ whether you are in the hot tub, playing cornhole in the yard, or using the gameroom. The Great Room and large porch (with rockers) are the perfect spots for lounging and conversation. And the large dining table was perfect for meals and games. Thank you, April, for offering such a beautiful spot to connect with those who matter the most!

Our family of four had a wonderful 4-night stay. Check-in was easy with the lock box and each of our teenage kids had their own room which they loved. The pictures were very accurate and we looked forward to the hot tub each night after visiting Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World, Mega Cavern and the Indiana Caverns.
Just be aware rolling a heavy suitcase to the front door can be difficult as the rocky pathway and the large rock step into the front door may be difficult for older people to navigate. Some of the bedroom windows do not have shades which didn't bother me, but others may not enjoy the early morning sunny wake up. There are also train tracks nearby and a train whistle you may hear if you're a light sleeper.
April provided us with snacks and drinks and even small soap bars in the bathrooms to get our trip easily started. It was nice to disconnect a bit as the wi-fi is not terribly fast in the cabin... a disappointment for my ever-connected kids, but fine with me. The cell service you get here was decent so I did not mind using that when needed. But I do like to include these details in my review for future guests so they can plan ahead and also have an enjoyable stay. It was an excellent time for us and would not hesitate to go back again. Thank you!

The property is peaceful and beautiful! House is as pictured!! The garage game room was a plus! There are many outdoor sitting areas and plenty of room inside the house. Our family of ten enjoyed the visit. We spent time at Deam Lake, a very nice nature area. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Our stay at April's property was relaxing. We enjoyed all the property had to offer. Peaceful and quiet. Close to Louisville, The power went out during our stay. we notified her and she responded immediately and kept us updated. We would definitely consider staying here in the future.

There was something there for every age! My granddaughters loved going to the creek and looking for treasures! They also loved playing hide and seek with so many different places to hide. The adults loved playing ping pong and corn hole! We also loved making smores at the fire pit and most especially the hot tub. Would definitely stay there again! April, our host, was very responsive!

We stayed at this location from 5/23 to 5/26 for our anniversary. From booking the place to the day of our return everything was perfectly handled by our host who msged us and kept s clear line of correspondence. The place was immaculately clean and well stocked . The grill had a full tank of propane and the hot tub as well as the fire pit were in excellent condition. We would definitely come back to visit again with family and friends. Its a bit big for just 2 people lol. Great place and the gate in the front is a cool look with extra safety.

We booked a year ahead and there were constant communications the entire time with owner April! My wife turned 60 and she wanted to attend Kentucky Derby with family and friends! April had home decorations and gifts upon arrival! What a Suprise! The place was so clean and well taken care of. Perfect outdoor sitting areas and we grilled every night. Jacuzzi was nice and bathrooms are really cool. She gave me names to drivers for Derby and Cake maker for wife's birthday which were both outstanding! Any questions I had she answered promptly and was so nice! Thank you, April, for the best experience ever! Would love to stay again! this is definitely a gem!

This home is not only beautiful and an amazing place to stay, but April such a gracious host! She was very responsive and accommodating to our needs with a large party! She was incredibly kind and we would stay there and work with her again in a heartbeat!

Everything was wonderful. Only complaint is that the internet was quite slow, which made streaming holiday movies a bit of a challenge. Otherwise, we loved the hot tub, the kitchen, the living room setup, and all the rooms.

We stayed at this wonderful property for Thanksgiving and it was perfect. We had 8 people, cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had all the pots and pans and assortments we needed. The host also left us a turkey roasting tray AND smores ingredients INCLUDING sticks which was very helpful. What a great place!!

A great place to “get away from it all”. Peaceful log cabin home surrounded by large hardwood trees and a small creek on rolling land.
Well appointed, plenty of room for the 9 of us, all adults. Enjoyed the outdoor seating areas accessed from the different bedrooms. A gem of a property!

We loved your placed. We are 4 sisters and spouses from Kansas and Colorado visiting for a week. Your house worked great for us being away from the city. This property was just as advertised, very nice house, comfortable beds, nice outdoor spaces. All of the games, ping pong table and hot tub were bonuses for our group. Property is close to Louisville so plenty to do in area.

Enjoyed spending time with our two kids and their families. It was very hot during our stay but we spent a lot of time on the huge front porch or the deck with the ceiling fan at night and with coffee in the morning. The house had everything we needed and room to spread out. April was quick to respond to any questions and very pleasant. You can tell she cares about this house. We drove into Louisville which was only 20 minutes away. Malibu Jacks was a great indoor gaming center with rides, games and a beautiful miniature golf course - good on a hot day. My 8 year old granddaughter loved the goat farm. Lots to do in Louisville and nice to come back to a quiet, pretty setting at night to chill out and listen to the birds and other wildlife. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

If you want an amazing home, this is it! The attention to detail is fantastic! Great property and very clean. Very quick to answer questions! Loved the outdoors fire pit. Adult kids loved the game room. Has tons of games/books/movies. Would highly recommend this home for fun and relaxation.

Wonderful and secluded spot close to Louisville
This is a great spot with awesome amenities for a bigger group. A short drive to Louisville and several distilleries, golf courses, nature trails, and I'm sure much more. Be mindful that to fit more than 7, folks will need to share beds. Ideal if you have several couples.

Nice quiet place with lots of room
The house is nice. The wifi is not great but that’s not exactly why you would book this house. It was a little too humid to enjoy the front porch but overall I’d stay here again.
