The location of the cottage could not be better! Right across the street from access to the beach. Near Kennebunkport for day trips. Communication with owner was excellent! Definitely will be back

After a 12 hour car ride, arriving at 5pm, the place was not ready. The owners sister and her friend were in the place , told me I had to move boxes if I wanted to use the second bedroom. Said they were "finishing up for the cleaner". The place was dirty, linens were gross, used facecloths and toothbrushes left behind. The family has another home nearby which they monitored us from. The parking space got flooded and unusable, neighbors mad we were there using it. We had to clean to make it bearable. And now, they are trying to charge and extra $500 without any discussion because they said we "stained the sink". Unreal. stay away. I've never had a bad experience with VRBO before this. This place is not presented accurately and the owners pretend they get it cleaned.

This was my 3rd time staying here and it’s been great every time. Small, well equipped, clean home. We love the location - beautiful view, easy beach access, quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to visiting again.

Perfect location and excellent property manager! Lisa is responsive and kind. Ocean views from the front door and windows. Fall asleep listening to the waves. We were fortunate enough to watch the full moon rise. Cottage was fully stocked. Nice linens and plenty of towels. Comfy bed. My two teens spent time everyday looking for hermit crabs in tide pools. We will definitely be back.

We had a great sisters weekend at Fortunes Rocks --beautiful walks, stunning vistas, amazing beach, and such close access to Kennebunkport. The general store provided everything that we needed and the sound of the waves at night was magic. It was crystal clean and extremely well stocked :). We will return I hope!

Our first two days were clear and warm and sunny. The cottage was more than I expected, and the view was worth a million dollars - front row seat unimpeded view to the pristine Fortune Rock Beach clear water and surfers catching waves.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views! Beach is right across the street which was great for our morning walks. Cottage was perfect for our size party plus our little dog. Owner was easy to communicate with with quick responses! Look forward in returning soon!

This adorable little house has a great unobstructed view of the ocean. The bedding is thin and cotton (suited for summer), and we were there in the winter, so we did need to use the space heaters provided. The kitchen is a good size and has the essential equipment to do basic cooking. The bedrooms are teeny tiny and there’s not room for much luggage. While there might technically be enough bed space for five people, it would be very difficult for more than three people to fit. The bathroom has a washer and dryer which was great. The shower is very small, so a larger or taller person might struggle to fit. The linoleum flooring is strangely wrinkled in several places which was a bit of a trip hazard, but not a big deal. The house overall is snug, so as long as you’re prepared for that, you’ll be fine!

The cottage was exactly as described. It's location to the beach is ideal. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was small but very efficient, everything you could need for the stay was available. The view of the ocean was great, watching the waves and several surf boarders was a great pass time.

Fantastic off-season cottage with great views and sounds of Fortune's Rocks Beach. Property manager was fantastic and responsive to my questions. Cottage had everything I needed, including that nice little front porch for morning coffee and watching the sunsets.

My husband and I enjoyed coffee and view in bistro chairs on small landing. Would have been nice if big enough for a couple more chairs (either side). Easy access to lovely beach. Was a great home base for our trip. Quiet area. Appreciate Fido could come with us. Cheery beach blue color scheme. Responsive host. Would like to go back.

My family had a great time at this property. Great location in front of Fortune Rocks beach. Probably the best beach in southern Maine. My only complaint is that there were a lot of mosquitoes. Not sure if that’s due to the pond next to the property.

Prefect location! My husband and I grew up on this beach. We were married just down the road, almost 17 years ago. It was the best way to end a long work day - with the AMAZING view!!! Our kids & dogs enjoyed the daily beach walks. Can't wait to return, for a longer stay.

Location is key! House was easy to find and perfect size for our family of four and small dog. Easy short walk to the beach.

While this property is on the smaller side, it was perfect for a short 3 night stay for us. Everything worked well and the views were spectacular. Nice quiet neighborhood and beach.

Everything about Sea Cottage was fabulous!! Fabulous location - unbelievable views - cozy cottage - all the essentials - excellent and clear communications with Lisa - and one of the nicest beaches we have ever been to! This was our second time there - and we will definitely be back!

This is a charming little cottage in an amazing location. At low tide you can walk 2 miles on perfect beach. Our only disappointment was that many local businesses were still closed for the winter. Our fault for not checking that the first weekend in May is when things open back up.

The view was incredible. Made our stay a delight in spite of the bad weather. Communication was fast and friendly.

Exactly what the doctor ordered. We enjoyed an early spring weekend on Fortune's Rocks beach with our two daughters. The Sea Cottage was beautiful and peaceful with amazing waterfront sights and sounds. Can't wait to visit again soon.

We loved our few days at Sea Cottage. Its location overlooking Fortune's Rock Beach is stunning. The small house is comfortable and had everything we needed. We'd definitely go back.

The property is beautiful. The photos actually don't do the property justice. I was familiar with fortune's rocks beach before renting and was looking for a property that was waterfront. While this property was across the street you could see and hear the ocean from all of the shared spaces in the house. The ocean was literally across the street. We were about a 20 minute drive from amazing food in portland and just about a 7 minute drive from tons of new and upcoming food spots in biddeford and saco! The house was comfortable - the queen bed was super comfortable and the couch and other living room area furniture super comfrotable the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. the house comes with beach chairs which were an excellent addition and a picnic table right out front to have lunch/dinner at while watching/listening to the ocean. we didn't use the gas grill but it was available! check in was super easy. the house is in a super safe location. Lisa, the property manager, was excellent at being in touch, super acocmmodating with our weird travel an check-in and out times. we're so thankful to have been able to stay at this place and are already planning our next stay! thanks so much!
