Soleggiato due camere da letto, un bungalow con bagno situato sul confine Berkeley / Albany a Thousand Oaks, uno dei quartieri più affascinanti e vibranti di Berkeley. Cammina verso un vivace quartiere dello shopping di Solano Avenue con pub, caffetterie, librerie, negozi alimentari, negozi alla moda, ristoranti e un cinema (oltre a un ufficio postale, diverse banche e una stazione di benzina). Gli autobus per San Francisco, UC Berkeley e BART sono anche su Solano Avenue.
Idealmente situato - vicino ma non troppo vicino all'università - la casa è abbastanza vicina per essere comoda ma abbastanza lontana dal trambusto del campus e del centro città. Robert is a wonderful host - very welcoming and very responsive throughout our visit. The house is perfect and is exactly as described. In advance, we had a slight concern about on street parking, but Robert assured us that we would always find easy parking and we did. We were also a bit concerned about the house being too hot, but Robert responded by installing window units and we never felt hot.
The neighborhood is quiet and just a short walk to Solano and all the shops and coffee places.
We will definitely return and we appreciate everything Robert did to make our stay so enjoyable.

What a great place to stay. The location is fantastic. Close to shops and restaurants and hiking. The home was really comfortable and clean. Robert left us a bottle of wine and coffee and chocolate when we arrived. That was such a nice touch. I will definitely stay here again when we are in town!

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert’s place. It’s located on a quiet tree-lined street in Albany, and had just the right amount of space for our family of 3. It was very clean and kitchen was well-appointed for cooking meals. Will definitely stay again

Just perfect
We came in from Massachusetts for a long weekend to visit our daughter at Cal. Plenty of space for our family of four. Kitchen was perfectly equipped for me to cook a few of her favorite meals. Location was excellent and absolutely no hassles. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Berkeley Visit
This is a very pleasant home in a delightful neighborhood. Owner was very responsive over e-mail. We were always able to find a parking space next to the house. Others have written plenty about the property, so I will focus on the location. We were traveling from Northern VA. Lyft XL from SFO cost about $100 plus tip. You could take the BART, but it would take about an hour and cost around $10 per person for one-way. House itself is about a 35 minute walk to the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station and about a 35 minute walk to the UC-Berkeley campus. Both are lovely walks through local neighborhoods -- we felt very safe. We rented a car from the Budget on Kitteridge Street in Berkeley and that was about a 35 minute walk, so very convenient. Solano Ave. has tons of shops and restaurants, which is great -- including a neighborhood Safeway and CVS. An Arco gas station was not far (about an 8 minute drive). Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Cute little home, could use an update and more comfortable furniture in the living room, but the beds were very comfortable, and it is a quiet neighborhood - very convenient. Owner very responsive to issues, particularly cleaning as the service did not do a very good job prior to our arrival.

cute little house
We are a family of four who stayed here for four nights while visiting our family who live in Albany. It was quiet, clean, and very conveniently located. Communicating with the owner was very easy, we had no problems at all. I would stay here again next time we are visiting.

This house was perfect for us. Our children are in the Bay area and I've been looking for a place to stay. This is it. Lovely super clean stucco house in a quiet tree lined street near Salino where you can find anything you need. Beautiful feeling to the house, antique looking furniture, a brass bed! and a nice sized dining room. All the linen you need and a fully stocked kitchen. Robert the owner is on site and very responsive. Thank you Robert! My only suggestions are a hair dryer for the ladies and directions for the TV. Oh, there an amazing massage chair. I highly recommend this place - easy 5 stars.

Great Stay!!
I was there for work for a quick weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood but amongst lots of store, coffee shops, and convenience stores! The house was very clean with a nice scent. The best feature is the massage chair! It was a treat to sit in it after a long day at work. If we ever make it over to that area again we will be for sure staying here again.

Close and clean
This little house was close to Solano, making it possible to shop on foot or explore the shops and restaurants. It is clean and well taken care of. It would have been nice to have a dishtowel and perhaps a sponge.

A touch too old to receive a 5 stars rating. Everything was very clean and as mentioned in the description. Very nice location - shopping and dinning within walking distance. Unfortunately we found out to late. We had two minor problems and the owner took care immediately without any hesitation. Definitely we would go there again.

Simple, clean, convenient
A nice house in a pretty neighborhood, just a couple minutes' walk from Solano Avenue's interesting restaurants and shops. The El Cerrito BART station is about a half-hour walk away. We enjoyed the house and the neighborhood.
