Good location; close to downtown area, but quiet. Great layout for what we needed.

My friend and I absolutely loved this home and our stay. We are both in the vacation home rental industry and this home surpassed our expectations. The host, Suzy, has gone over and beyond with tasteful and comfortable furniture and bedding, amenities and supplies. The home was immaculate and exceedingly organized, and sits in a lovingly tended garden setting with wonderful views of downtown Ashville and great sunsets from the front porch seating area. We were only 5 minutes or so (driving) from downtown where there are numerous dining, shopping and cultural opportunities. Thank you again Suzy for your helpfulness and for the cookies ,we had a well deserved relaxing and fun stay.

This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Great view of the city and the mountains. It is well stocked and inviting, all the way down to the delicious cookies on the table upon our arrival. proximity to downtown is great, but if you plan to walk downtown, you might want yo evaluate options because the highway may create some navigational challenges.

Property had great location and view. In the city but had bears on the driveway and on the hill across the street. Luckily, they were pretty chill. Liked the outdoor patio area. Loved getting warm cookies at check in. Overall, very pleasant stay

Suzy’s home is a lovely spot near downtown Asheville. The view from the porch is so serene and the home was clean and beautifully appointed. Suzy was super responsive to any of our needs. The home was a perfect location for exploring downtown, Biltmore and seeing the Grove Park Inn. We would definitely stay again!!!

Enjoyed staying at City Lights. Perfect place for my husband, daughter and me. Very clean and relaxing environment. Close proximity to downtown Asheville, Biltmore and numerous hiking trails. Thanks for a wonderful stay to enjoy our Christmas vacation.

Th property was marvelous. It was very comfortable, well appointed, with the household items and appliances needed. Our hosts, the Laibson’s were wonderful. They were helpful in the run up to our stay, and were very available when advice on the area was needed.

The property, the host, the location, the view, all amazing! Perfect for two couples. Don’t hesitate to book. We rented a car and we were short rides to the Biltmore, Downtown, and the Arboretum all decorated for Christmas! Very festive! Would absolutely stay again.

Great location close to town with a beautiful view. Floor plan great for singles, 2 couples or a family of 4. Stylishly decorated throughout including the deck. Host very welcoming. Enjoyed everything about our stay. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We loved our stay at City Lights! The location is perfect. It is close to downtown and the Biltmore but is quiet and has plenty of space inside and outside for our family to spread out. We will definitely be back.

Property was just as described. Extremely cozy and Suzy was as helpful as can be! Beds were very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets available. Lovely deck. Very quiet. Great location. Would definitely stay here again!

The property exceeded all of our expectations! The location was central to everything. Check in and check out was simple. The layout was perfect for the 4 of us. The two bedrooms were separated with great bathrooms for each bedroom. The view and outdoor space was perfect! We were surprised with warm cookies waiting for us upon our arrival. I would highly recommend this property!!

Nice place for two couples

Everything was wonderful from start to finish! Check in was easy with clear instructions and the unit was as pictured on-line and very clean. Suzy and Allen were very responsive hosts and offered many suggestions. The location was perfect…would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a lovely visit!

Everyday we sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful vistas and all the song birds. The suite was very clean, tastefully decorated, and well stocked. We were close to downtown which made it very convenient. And Susie, the premier host, was top notch. She was personable, informative, and very accommodating. We had a wonderful time in Asheville, enjoyed Susie, and really loved her property!

This was our first trip to Asheville and it couldn’t have been better. The home was a perfect size for our family of four. The deck is covered and comfortable to sit on and enjoy the city and mountain views. You can walk to a Starbucks and bakery. We also walked into the city which takes a little longer but is definitely doable. Otherwise driving to and from the parkways and Biltmore was super easy. Suzy was the best host. She lent us umbrellas, baked cookies and even picked something up for us ahead of time that we couldn’t bring in our carryon! She was immediately available if we needed anything. This house is so much more personable than anything you’d find in the city. Thank you for a wonderful introduction to Asheville! Can’t wait to come back!

A couple friends and I stayed here for a girls’ weekend, and it was as wonderful as advertised. Suzy met us upon arrival and answered any questions. Everything was clean, and it was delightful to sit on the decks and relax but also be close enough to go into town easily. No bears- maybe next time! :)

We enjoyed our stay at this very comfy apartment. It is beautifully decorated and well furnished with many extras. The location is very convent to downtown activities as well as the Biltmore. The host was very welcoming and communicated well. I highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay at Suzy’s place - great for those who want some separate living space. Two bedrooms and Toledo baths on either end of the unit. Fully equipped and very comfortable. Has nice deck and parking. Suzy is very warm and provides a lot of information about the area. Very close to everything! Definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay. The place was extremely clean and well furnished with all the comforts of home. Bathrooms and kitchen very modern and even stocked with some essentials. Balcony/porch has a wonderful view with comfortable furniture to enjoy it. It is only a 0.5 mile to Downtown Asheville, definitely walkable but with a steep incline. There is a convenient driveway for parking. Would definitely recommend and will look to stay here again the next time I visit Asheville.

Spending time on the patio was so serene and relaxing - gorgeous view and songbirds everywhere. The property was perfect for two couples - bedrooms on opposite sides provided plenty of privacy. Everything was spotless! We spent a wonderful week exploring Asheville and surrounding areas. On our way to the airport, we visited the St. Lawrence Basilica, it is an amazing church, a spiritual experience not to be missed. Six days was not enough time to explore it all.

Suzy's place was perfect for 2 couples. Very comfortable beds. Close to everywhere we wanted to go yet away from the hustle with the most beautiful views! We were greeted with delicious cookies and we met Suzy. There was plenty of information for all kinds of things to do in the area. I would definitely stay here in the future. We loved Asheville and our only disappointment was that we didn't see a bear ;)

My 3 friends and I spent an amazing weekend at Suzy's property, and it was wonderful. Location wise you are essentially a 3 minute drive from downtown. The view from the porch was beautiful - trees, mountains and city views all in one. I was a little delayed on my travel day, but Suzy was kind enough to come down and chat with my girlfriends when they arrived and bring homemade cookies. After that we didn't see or hear our hosts, they gave us plenty of privacy. The setup is also great with 2 bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment so you don't feel like you are on top of the people you're traveling with. Very clean and overall just a fantastic place to stay.

We absolutely love staying at Suzy's place in Asheville. The house was the perfect size for two couples and was clean and beautiful decorated. Beds were extremely comfortable. The house is a short walk to downtown and just a very short drive to the Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Suzy answered all of our communications and was an excellent host. We will definitely look to stay here when we visit Asheville again. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Asheville!

No complaints. All raves! Very clean, well thought out, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Well located close to city as well as outdoor activities. Suzy was so accommodating that she welcomed us with fresh baked, warm from the oven, chocolate chip cookies! Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at City Lights was great. The views from the deck are amazing and Suzy baked cookies that were fabulous. While the listing says you can walk downtown, it is a bit of a hike and not that easy especially if you have any physical limitations. Easy to drive or Uber though. We quite enjoyed having the best of both worlds.

If staying in Asheville, search no more. City Lights has it all and is literally within a 5 to 10 minute drive to dozens of restaurants, grocery store, visitor center, etc. However, the property itself is in a private location with stunning views of downtown Asheville from every room. Suzy is delightful and the consummate host. The property is immaculately clean, well appointed and decorated with a designer's touch. The photos do not do it justice. City Lights will not disappoint!

My family loved staying here. It was very clean and the space was beautiful! It had a great layout with each bedroom having its own bathroom and being on opposite ends of the house. Easy to get anywhere in Asheville and great that it was walkable to restaurants. Suzy was very accommodating and even had delicious warm cookies for us when we arrived! Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful 2BR/2BA apartment with cozy king-sized beds in a quiet neighborhood. Gorgeous outdoor space with two decks and blooming trees/flowers, a great view of Asheville, and lots of natural light in the bedrooms. Easy walk to coffee shops and a very short drive to downtown. Owner was very kind. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay.
