Gail was great. We had an amazing time. Rochester is beautiful. Location was very close to restaurants and pubs.

Everything was perfect and our accommodations exceeded our expectations. It was probably the nicest property we have ever stayed at. The place was immaculate and well-stocked. Our hosts were gracious and helpful and made us feel at home. They really are proud of their home and it shows! Would recommend without doubt. Fantastic!

We LOVED everything about our stay here. The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for my daughter and I while visiting friends in the area. The location is in a safe, beautiful neighborhood with so many great restaurants within walking distance. Clean, comfortable, and charming is what you’ll get when staying here. The owner Gail was a delight. Communication was great. We will stay here again, and highly recommend you do also.

Staying at Gail’s and John’s place has been the highlight of our trip to Rochester. Definitely on the top of list of anywhere we have stayed when traveling in the past. Immaculately maintained & furnished, quiet, well furnished, many amenities, just superb! Thank you Gail & John!

My 86-year-old mom and I just stayed here and loved every minute of it. The two flights of stairs were clearly explained to us and my mom correctly assessed that she would be able to get up and down pretty easily. The hosts went out of their way to help us carry our luggage up and down to help my mom have an easy time. The beds were supportive, great air conditioning control to each room, everything about this place worked well and the neighborhood was a bonus! I highly recommend staying here.

Gail's third floor apartment was even better than expected, also larger. All the rooms have a furnished, lived-in, well-tempered feel. Gail met us in the spacious back yard parking area and gave us a quick tour of the property, and gracefully let us get on with unpacking and settling once we were done with what few questions we had. Comfy beds, windows that open if you want them to. An outstanding neighborhood to walk in, with the Eastman Museum not even a full block away. Easy and simple check-out procedures. Well-stocked kitchen, including things like Zip-locks for leftovers, just like home. And on the book shelves? Terrific titles, terrific variety. So: all great, with the caveat that if you have trouble with stairs, this property is not for you. Three steps up to the porch, then something like 32 more to reach the apartment, in two flights of 16. We would absolutely rent this place again if we find ourselves in Rochester.

My husband and I, along with my sister, stayed here over the holidays. The owner was kind and thorough. She greeted us and walked us through the odds and ends in the place. We had told her we were staying for Christmas because my mother had recently sold her home and she thoughtfully put up a small Christmas tree for us to make it feel homey. Of course, you can't beat this location in the beautiful Park Ave area. Convenient place to stay on a visit to Rochester. There are two sets of stairs though, so just be aware of that if coming with small children or guests with mobility issues.

We enjoyed the location, walking distance to shopping, museums, and dining. Little extras like pretty dishes, glassware, plush towels and toiletries, made the stay extra comfortable and homey.

This 3rd story apartment is very homey, very clean and decorated with antiques. Gail was very accommodating and friendly. 51 Westminster is located in the Park Avenue area of Rochester. This is an old elegant part of Rochester. There are great restaurants and pubs within walking distance. We had a great time!

My husband and I have been traveling across the country and he wanted to show me Rochester. I had no idea that this stay would be so wonderful. The place is beautiful and immaculate. Gail goes above and beyond to care for her guests. We were able to walk to several really good restaurants and navigating was easy in this city. The George Eastman museum is just a half a block away and well worth the visit! We will definitely be back. Thanks Gail!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Having lived in this city before, I knew it to be safe and convenient. Gail was very accommodating and met us upon arrival. A very clean and quiet place to stay and catch up with friends. I would easily stay here again!

This is one of the most immaculately clean and thoughtfully furnished places we have ever rented. The owner literally thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is full of charming touches that made it feel like a home away from home. From the quality toiletries and linens to the fully equipped kitchen, this is a truly lovely place to stay. The apartment is quiet and in a great neighborhood within easy walking distance of museums and restaurants. The owner met us on arrival and was so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.

The place was better than described. Gail was quick to answer any questions. Check in and out was very easy. There are a lot of great restaurants and brewery within walking distance. We are looking forward to coming back again.

My husband, daughter and I arrived on Christmas Day to spend the holiday season with our son. He’s a performer in the national tour of The Lion King musical. Gail, our host, had fresh cream and milk waiting for us in the very well stocked kitchen. There was a charmingly decorated little Christmas tree that helped us to feel festive after our long and tiring flight from Los Angeles. Gail had brought in an extra table for the dining area so there would be room for our son and his friends to have a sit down Christmas dinner with us. The apartment has so many personal touches that we immediately felt at home. We got to watch a gentle snow fall upon the roofs of the stately homes on our block. We felt so nurtured by the beauty of the apartment. Truly, if there were an Olympics for vacation rental hosts, Gail’s name would be engraved on the gold medal.

This apartment is a great home away from home. Gail is such a thoughtful and wonderful host. We were there for the Thanksgiving holidays and she added an extra table "just in case" - seemed like she anticipated all our needs and was so helpful with any questions we had prior to our visit (i.e. where to order a Thanksgiving meal, finding the best pumpkin pie, etc.). Very clean and roomy apartment - you can tell Gail takes pride in her property. Location is close to all - shopping, musuems, universities, and dining. Lots of great restaurants in easy walking distance.

What a great find - property is so clean and in a great location - close to fabulous restaurants, museums, downtown area, shopping, etc. Gail is such a wonderful host as well - very welcoming and gracious. During our stay, the furnace broke (we couldn't tell) and Gail called to make sure we were okay and that she was having someone come out right a way to fix it. Upon arrival she personally greeted us (even waited a bit as our flight got delayed) and made sure we were comfortable and settled. Will be staying here whenever we come to Rochester. Such a gem!

Everything as advertised and more. Convenient to restaurants and shops, plus easy access to downtown and highways. Place is clean and comfortable, our family had a great time.

This two bedroom rental is in a 1910 Tudor style house. It is decorated with period-style furniture with many unique decorative touches. Gail provided many extras such as coffee pods, creamer, great linens and towels among other things. The rental is sparkling clean. Each bedroom and living area has a premium air conditioning unit which keeps the rental extremely comfortable. We were there during a particularly hot and humid period in July, and the rental was a cool and dry oasis. We will definitely try to rent this unit the next time we come to Rochester. Thank you Gail for a wonderful experience. This rental was well above our expectations.

The apartment was wonderful - comfortable, clean, spacious. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with many basics and even several just nice-to-have bonuses. The furniture in the bedrooms and main living area were cozy and great for reading, working, sleeping - everything. And there were bookshelves full of lovely old books in just about every room - I had fun looking at each of them throughout the week I was there! Gail was great - really helpful and accommodating while I was coordinating my trip, and then more of the same when my partner and I arrived; she met us to let us in, give a tour, and provide fresh milk and creamer from a local dairy. She made sure our stay was just perfect, and even followed up afterward with the sweetest note. This isn't just an amazing apartment in a really nice part of Rochester (which is more than enough reason to stay here), but Gail really cares about her guests and their experience. We will absolutely stay here or in another of Gail's properties if we're even in the area again!!
