Great place to stay, loved the home!

Joe, thanks for your warm hospitality, responsiveness and use of your home. Your home had everything we needed to make our stay with 8 adults pleasant. Very clean, well stocked and appreciate the little things like comfortable beds, ample space, toiletries and kitchen consumables, big fluffy towels and well stocked kitchen accessories. Also, the area has much to offer. We were out every day doing and exploring. One of our favorite family vacations. I would recommend your home to others. We plan to come back again some day.

We came to Rapid City to celebrate a milestone birthday for me. We had a fabulous time, so much to see and do in the area. The house was centrally located with easy access to many of the major attractions. It was perfect for our needs, spacious and for our party of 7, everyone had a private bedroom and bath. Very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The property was as good as or better than advertised. The layout was perfect for our family. The house was clean and had many amenities.

We really enjoyed the stay and thanks to receiving permission from the owner we had a lovely gathering after my Father's funeral. The property was excellent. We did feel that it would be good to mention that the stairs are fairly steep and could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The only problem we had was the email giving me the "keys" said I would have to contact the owner. When I called him he was surprised it did not forward the code to me as he had indicated. (that is the only reason for the 4 instead of 5 for the check-in rating). Our family all say thank you for a lovely stay

Four Adults, we enjoyed our stay.

This house was a great place for 4 different households to come together. Beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of space. Gave us a central place to stay as we ventured out to Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Devil's Tower, and Wind Cave.

Everything was perfect! The house was clean, well-stocked and beautifully maintained, as well as having a great layout and location. Communication with from the host was timely and very pleasant. I have only wonderful things to say this experience. Highly recommend!

We can’t say enough positive about this special home! It was perfect for our mini family reunion with ages ranging from 2-75. It’s central for accessing all that the Black Hills have to offer. And the location is in a beautiful neighborhood that makes you feel like you’re in the country. In Addition it was well stocked with kitchen, bedroom, bath items, large garage. Also, the hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Two suggestion would be to add additional comfortable seating to the sun room and a functioning outside umbrella but that’s it!!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Perfect base for exploring South Dakota’s main attractions: Mt Rushmore, Custer Stare Park, Badlands National Park., etc. The house is awesome! Rapid City has a very nice downtown with many great restaurants.

What a beautiful home and everything you need to make yourself comfortable. Was an excellent choice for our family reunion.

The home is located a nice quiet neighborhood. With in 1.5 hrs of everything we wanted to do during our stay. The hime was very clean and fit us all quite comfortably (12 of us). They have air mattress if needed as well. Owners where very communicative and responsive. Would definitely recommend!! If we ever make it back this way, I would stay here again! Great first experience with VRBO!!

The house is only a 4 bedroom not 5. The thermostats do not work correctly so the heat ran non stop! A lot of unsightly leaves and twigs

House is great, nice amenities, great WiFi (we had kids doing remote schooling), comfortable beds. Perfect place to explore Custer and Mount Rushmore. Property manager was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area.

There were six of us traveling together so a house seemed like a way to go. This house was perfect for our needs. Some of us could watch TV or play games and not bother the sleeping ones. It was great seeing deer off the patio deck.

The home was clean and comfortable. Our kids all commented on how comfortable their beds were. ☺️ The mini basketball set was a hit as was the karaoke machine. Our family had such an incredible time in beautiful South Dakota.

Beautiful home and neighborhood. Nice views and deer running through neighborhood. Love that everyone had a room or a bed and plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen was supplied well with cookware and condiments. The garage was a big plus for us. We parked 7 Harley's and a 16 'trailer in each night. Was great to get the bikes out of the weather.! Would have liked a trash can in master bath. The 3rd floor was warm but eventually cooled off at night. Fans would be a great addition for upstairs bedrooms. Also we would have purchased more toilet paper ahead of time if we would have known there were only 2 rolls each bathroom. But we handled it and had a great time despite those things mentioned! Would be nice to come try out the snow skiing in this area! How close is the nearest slopes? Hope we could stay at your home again! Bless you and your family! Very good accommodations for our group of 9. Plenty of room to spread out. Easy access to most sites in the area.

First time renting!

The property was Very clean and accommodated our family of 11. We had a great time exploring all around Rapid City and further out and this location was well centralized for our travels each day.

Close by most things, quiet neighborhood.

I stay in a lot of Airbnb’s and VRBO’s and I got to say that this was the most nicely equipped place I’ve ever been. Not only was it beautiful but it seems that they were so very thoughtful and every little detail to make it enjoyable wonderful time for our entire family thank you

Beautiful, clean, plenty of spaces for our family of 6 to hang out , cook, grill on the shaded patio and use as a base to explore the black hills. We were very happy with this beautiful home!

Little rough getting initial check in but everything else was great. Close to a great dog park, and close to all the great vacation stops.

Our extended family had a great stay. There was enough room for everybody. The house was clean, had all the needed amenities. We would stay there again.

This property is located a short distance from Black Hills attractions. The neighborhood is quiet & check in process was easy, we even got to check in an hour early! There were instructions on how to use the TVs, which have Netflix (bonus!). The owner even left a bottle of local wine for use to enjoy! The solarium was one of my favorite parts of this property, even when it rained it was fun to watch it thru the glass. The kids enjoyed the indoor balcony, their favorite spot. Legos were a hit. The temperature of the home is difficult to regulate. The 2nd floor is very warm in summer and to cool it off, the basement is COLD. We managed to sleep downstairs, but you have to really like cold environments to make it work. I tried to recommend a few other ideas to the owner related to other topics, such as: washcloths are a nice option (there are none) and please get hand towels for every bathroom (main floor had no hand towels in bath or kitchen). This home shows promise but unfortunately was filthy when we arrived. Two out of three tubs had multiple hairs left in them; two out of four beds we used had stains on the sheets; there is expired food in the cupboard; the floors had a lot of dirt; there was a thick layer of dust in most rooms upstairs; the trash cans were filthy; I killed 5 spiders in our short stay; there was a camera (gone now) & undisclosed coverage areas for Alexa (vrbo requirement) . Owner offered to send the cleaners to the house. But, our group was not comfortable having strangers amongst our personal belongings while we were sight seeing and not home. The home should have been clean for our arrival. When we washed the sheets from a king bed, the stain disappeared The owner said it was tide pod residue, but as the care taker of our home, I disagree. I have seen what tide pod stains look like when not fully dissolved- it is not the same as this stain. I dont think the sheets on that bed were clean prior to our arrival. We ultimately checked out a day early as the level of comfort & trust in the home was gone. The owner was initially responsive. We ended up relying on VRBO to contact him as he ignored my calls, texts and messages when I asked for a refund for the night we missed due to condition of the home. Every day there was a new misadventure, we eventually became too uncomfortable to stay. I recommend the owner become more familiar with VRBO policies. I am glad we worked it out in the end.

This was an excellent home and location for our family gathering. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to Rapid City amenities. The home owner was readily available at all times. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.
