A wonderful spot for a reunion with friends. We loved floating in the lake and kayaking. The kitchen was fully equipped and the perfect spot to cook and visit. Proximity to Duluth was also a plus. Easy check in and responsive hosts. Definitely recommend!

We were in the area for a wedding and found this place as an incredible retreat from the hustle/bustle of the events. All the beautiful touches were appreciated. All upscale furniture and the views of the lake were just incredible. Hosts were very helpful with a couple of special requests, couldn't have been more helpful. Wish we had had the time to enjoy the water activities - but we'll be back. We all just loved the space and location.

My family and I just spent a long weekend at this property. It was clean, comfortable, has a beautiful view. It was located close enough to anything we wanted to do in Duluth or outside of. Only a 20-25 minute drive to whatever we needed. It was a great, relaxing weekend.

Scott was wonderful to work with. He went out of his way to gather information on fishing guides prior to our trip. His advice was spot on. We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit the Duluth area and stay at this great property again.

Our family of 6, grandparents, children and grandchildren spent a week at this wonderful property. We paddled, fished and enjoyed the loons, ducks and hummingbirds. The property is attractive and worked well for our group. It is well maintained, communication with the owner is easy. The drive into Duluth is very doable.

The property has lovely decking and gathering areas. We were very comfortable. The beach and lake are are nice. The kayaks and paddle boat were very much appreciated. We would consider staying again.

It was magic. The house was very ADA for me and my wheelchair. My two young grandsons loved biking on the road in front of the house, fishing in the lake, kayaking, and biking on the Munger trail. We all enjoyed the Munger bike trail and the Duluth train Depot

Kids loved it and we had a blast. Place was exactly as advertised. Would definitely rent this place again if available when we head back to this area.

Close to mall drop off location. Sauna and lake to take advantage of after race. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep the night before the big race.

The house was very clean and well organized. There were plenty of clean towels to use. The kitchen was stocked well with pots, pans, cups, silverware ect. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck. We also had fun on the paddleboat and kayaks.

Wonderful long weekend stay for 2 families with kids. Paddle boat was a hit! Very spacious, nice property with a beautiful deck and view of the lake. I spent a weekend here with three longtime friends for our annual girlfriend’s weekend. It was wonderful! The house was spotless and even more beautiful than we had imagined. The hosts were courteous and helpful and we had an excellent visit. Loved the deck, the cozy fireplace, the very comfy beds, and the little extra details (like the fully stocked spice rack and plenty of fresh towels). Thank you so much!

Lori and Scott were great to work with very attentive and gave us a friendly greeting and quick tour upon our arrival. The house is beautifully decorated with such detail and the views are amazing of Pike Lake. We loved relaxing on the deck watching the hummingbirds while the kids fished. The boat shed was well stocked giving us endless hours of fun; from paddleboating, kayaking, and taking the small fishing boat out to fish. The suna was also a bonus! It was a short drive to downtown Duluth to see the sites or a dinner on the town but nothing was more fun then making smores around the firepit and gazing at the stars at night. A great family get away we highly recommend and will be back for another adventure!

This rental house exceeded my expectations more than any other I have ever rented. The house is meticulously clean, with sweeping views of Pike Lake from nearly every common room. It has everything you need for a family get-together: a cozy wood-paneled living room with leather sofa and recliners, an automatic, thermostat-controlled fireplace(!), family-friendly games, a kitchen with miles of countertops, 4 comfortable beds (including a sleeper), and a gigantic well-furnished deck. From there, cascading steps lead you to a lakeside fire pit, a dock, and a boathouse stocked with a dizzying array of personal flotation devices, paddles, and other lake gear. Gear, which you’ll use with the veritable fleet of paddle boat, canoe, rowboat, and kayaks. Nearly everything we interacted with in the house was of high quality. The kitchen was well-equipped with tools, pots, and pans, as well as a wide selection of glassware and silverware—like someone actually lives here. I love to cook and was able to function quite well in this kitchen, delivering meals I was proud of for my extended family. The furniture was solid and in great condition. The beds and sheets were very comfortable, and there were extra warmies and pillows—everything we could think of plus some. The indoor sauna was the cherry on top. Easy to use and felt so good! The master bedroom suite felt like a high-end hotel—also with a gas fireplace and with deck access and views of the lake and a positively palatial master bath suite. From the multitude of kitchen supplies to the plentiful linens, we felt cared for and lavishly hosted as if by family or close friends who welcomed us into their own home. Oh, and Scott and Lori were quick to respond to any inquiry and gracious at every turn. We had a relaxing, rejuvenating, and perfect four days. The slowly rising full moon over the lake didn’t hurt either!

This house was so very beautiful and located close to town, but feels remote. We loved it.

This house is just a short drive from downtown Duluth. The weather was a bit cool so we didn’t get to swim in the lake but enjoyed the kayaks and pedal boat. There was firewood for a bonfire. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. Our family enjoyed our quick getaway up north.
