OCEAN/BEACH FRONT, HUGE YARD, SUNSET VIEW
La proprietà di fronte all'oceano è l'unica nella zona che ha un enorme cortile e spiaggia. 4 camere da letto, bellissima veranda, camino, gazebo. Troviamo che la casa sia la più adatta per gli amanti della natura a cui non importa l'atmosfera rustica dei cottage.
La spiaggia di fronte alla casa è sabbiosa (rocciosa una volta entrati nell'acqua) e in parte è accessibile anche con l'alta marea.
L'associazione di quartiere ha campi da tennis e da basket e un grande parco giochi.
Old Saybrook è una tranquilla località balneare molto familiare. È anche noto per le sue numerose opzioni gastronomiche.
Oltre alla spiaggia proprio di fronte alla casa, ci sono altre 3 spiagge a 10-20 minuti a piedi.
La prima è la spiaggia della comunità di Cornfield Point, a circa 2 minuti a piedi dalla casa. Questa spiaggia è grande e sabbiosa dentro e fuori dall'acqua.
Il secondo è la Town Beach, che dista 10 minuti a piedi dalla casa. Questa spiaggia è leggermente più grande della spiaggia della comunità ed è anche tutta sabbiosa dentro e fuori dall'acqua. Questa spiaggia ha anche tavoli da picnic e un negozio che vende cibi e bevande.
Il terzo si chiama Harvey's Beach, che è un altro 10 minuti lungo la strada. Questa famosa spiaggia è straordinariamente bella: sabbiosa, rocciosa, erbosa. Inoltre, ha uno stand in concessione.

Amazing house on the beach with tons of space for fun!!! We loved being right on the water. The kids found crabs and fished with some of the locals. Would definitely rent this place again!!

Three generations of our family had a great time. The location is amazing, right on the sound and with what is essentially your own private beach most of the time (other than the neighborhood dogs swimming first thing). The beach is a little rocky but there’s also access to a sandy beach 2 blocks away. This is clearly a well-used house but in a way that just made us feel at ease. Easy and clear communication.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The accommodations were comfortable and the sunroom was the perfect spot on a rainy day to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Otherwise we were out in the yard in front of a fire enjoying it. Our host Zak was very accommodating and available for any questions we had. Would recommend to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy to coast.

This was a charming and cozy house. It has that quintessential cottage feel of welcome. While the cottage could use some upgrades, there was nothing that we had to have that was missing (except maybe a new can opener. Had our stay been longer I would have replaced it, but I never got out to the store). Communication with the host was excellent, all through the vrbo site. The location was so lovely. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walking our dog. Grandchildren enjoyed the yard and the beach. Thank you to Zak for opening up and sharing your Family home with us. We hope to be back!

cute neighborhood and the house was extremely well located with direct access to a small private beach. Large garden and plenty of space. The house could use some updating, but all in all we had a great time and would recommend it

We loved the house, the yard, the view, and the beach. The beds were super comfortable. We found plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, buckets and shovels for the kids. We also loved our proximity to Harvey Beach down the street. We would stay again.

Wonderful location! Quaint property with spectacular views. Loved little beach and sunroom overlooking sound. Everyone mentioned how comfortable their bed was. Would highly recommend.

This property is a delight. We would go back in a flash. Everything we needed was at hand. A gorgeous gorgeous location made all the more pleasant by the thoughtfulness of the owner.

The view from the sun porch is spectacular! We love our 10 days here. We took advantage of crabbing, fishing right in front of the house and simple beach days at the town beach. We played lots of games in the side yard. I couldn’t believe we were so lucky to get it. Stop and Shop and a Walmart are conveniently close by.

It is indicated there is air conditioning but only in bedrooms living area only has fans. Kitchen cabinets unusable so much clutter and dirty. Yard was not safe for children glass in yard, junk wood in yard garbage along property line. Dryer never worked. Key did not open doors was lucky that window by door open so I could reach through to unlock door. No directions for anything oven had to be Set at 475 to reach 350. No cleaning products. Downstairs bed mattress so old. This house could be beautiful but will not be returning.

Spacious house has room for everyone. Enjoy the patio while the kids run in the huge yard. Breath taking views. Enjoy the comfort of the front room while relaxing to the sights and sounds of the ocean. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. The owners are easily accessible. There’s a private small beach and also a great public beach a short walk away.

The location was perfect with beautiful views and lots of outdoor property to enjoy social distance when our small family came for short visits during our stay. We had a great 3 weeks at 27 West Shore Road. The house was exactly as advertised but we had no idea just how amazing the property was. 3 oceanfront lots with a lovely huge lawn and small beach in front, who could ask for more. The owner was very communicative wanting to make sure we were enjoying our stay. And, we DID!!! So sad to leave. House is large and beds were comfortable. We loved our time there and would return in a heartbeat!

This place was wonderful for a 2-week vacation with children and grandchildren. The house was big enough for 6 adults and a 3-year old and a 1-year old. Room enough for everyone to have their own space if they wanted it. The huge yard was perfect for the 3-year old; the patio was where we spent most of our time at the house. The sunroom with windows overlooking the water and plenty of seating for all was our second favorite spot.
The little beach down the stairs, although not private, was where we sat with our beach chairs, swam, made sand castles, etc. We never even ventured out (except a walk-by) to the beach at the end of the block. The neighborhood was easy to walk in with dogs, including a 3-mile walk along a path between the road and the beaches heading out toward Fenwick. Beautiful sunsets over the water every night (except one or two rainouts).
Saybrook is a very nice little town with good restaurants, easy to get around.
Highly recommended.

Couldn’t ask for a better location, waterfront with your own beach, large comfortable yard with plenty of shade. Worked great for our family with 2 young children. We were fortunate that we also enjoyed perfect weather, so all our time was spent outside, but house has plenty of space and a lovely enclosed front porch.

Very large and mostly private ocean front yard was a great place to feel and smell the ocean breezes and listen to the sounds of the ocean. Enjoyed fishing from the sea wall when the tides were high and swimming or looking for shells when the tides were low. The surrounding Old Saybrook, Old Lyme, and Westbrook areas offered a diverse range of dining and activity options. Close proximity to the Clinton Crossing Outlet Shopping Center was a plus on the one day when the skies were overcast. Best night's sleep ever in a master bedroom that was feet away from the beach......cool ocean breezes through the screened windows and the gentle lapping sounds of the waves.

First of all, key was not where it was supposed to be, we had to make several calls, and wait an hour in the rain. Also inside place was very dirty. There were no paper products. The refrigerator in garage didn’t work, therefore we lost a lot of food.
However, despite downfalls, we enjoyed ourselves.
