The house and property was as described; beautiful, spacious, relaxing, clean and plenty of basic supplies. The owner was very responsive to our needs and took care of anything that needed to be addressed. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended.

This is a 5 star property in a nice neighborhood. The house is very well appointed for a comfortable stay. There is everything you need in the kitchen to create a nice meal. The garden is large and private with at least five separate seating areas to enjoy. Pool and spa were great, especially the in-pool shaded seating for two. Good for morning walks with trails nearby as well.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting that is perfect for a family gathering. The backyard and garden area make you never want to leave! As many have stated, the kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of space to be together or retreat if you need a break from the louder people in your group. Ha! Greg was a fantastic host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. The location was perfect, and the area provided as much or as little as you want to do. Thank you, Greg, for opening your home to us. We loved every minute of it. Happy New Year!

We loved our stay at this property. The outdoor space is beautiful and more comfortable and inviting than the pictures led us to believe. We spent most of our 5 days out there during our November visit. We ate all of our family dinners at the big table, warmed by the overhead heater. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. We prepared a large Thanksgiving feast and had EVERYTHING we needed to prepare and serve the meal to a large group. Would definitely stay here again!

We went to the Breeders’ Cup races at Santa Anita and Altadena is an excellent location. Less than 15 minutes to the track. Also, we like to walk for exercise and lots of options. Easy walk to the hills with some super trails.
House is very comfortable. Great water pressure for showers. Well outfitted kitchen. Easy in and out from the street. Quiet area and nice pool. Spend one day just relaxing by the pool. Life is good.

The home was exactly as pictured and a perfect place for a visit with kids and grandkids. It is rare to find a rental property outfitted with exactly what is needed in every space and furnished with such taste and quality. Mature and carefully tended garden adds to ambiance. A problem with swimming pool was attended to by owner and we did get a day of use. Would definitely stay again and recommend this property.

Had a great stay at this home, the yard and kitchen are great. Could use a bigger TV watching area but all we enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub and BBQ grill were great as well. The host accommodated my brother who came into Rose Bowl tickets last m minute so that was great also. Beds were warm and comfortable, great to have a washer and dryer ! Thanks very much.

Wonderful CALTECH Graduation Weekend
We loved this property. We were in Pasadena for our daughter's graduation from CALTECH and this was the perfect place for us and her grandparents to be. Wonderful home. Beautiful and private backyard. Short drive to campus. It was perfect. I wish we had found this place sooner as we would have stayed here when we visited her over the years.

Garden Resort Life
This home is all about the outdoor spaces. The back garden with pool, spa and extensive covered patio offers many options for lounging and pool play. Plus the backyard, an area beyond the pool and patio, was prefect for playing ball with our dog and hiding Easter eggs for our 2 year old granddaughter. The house itself offers plenty of privacy for three couples. Master bedroom is in separate wing from 2 other nice sized queen bedrooms, each with its own bath, and each at opposite ends of a generously sized hallway with laundry room in between. Front yard too is beautifully landscaped with added two-year-old amenity of large boulders to climb and hop off. Great walking neighborhood for dogs and families.

Elegant and Warm Family Friendly Home
We stayed at this wonderful Home along with our immediate family during the holiday season. The accommodations were excellent and the pool was the icing on he cake. The layout of the house and the property were superb and this made for a very enjoyable and private enclave. Two car gated parking was a strong plus! Street parking was also ample. The owner Greg was always available and extremely helpful. We highly recommend this 5 Star Home.

This home is a great place to gather and entertain.
Our family needed a place to serve as a home base and post party gathering spot to entertain and rest. Our family was celebrating moms 90th birthday. 2 of 4 showers had low level shower access which was key for two of the guest whom require easy shower access.There is an additional half bath as well.
The house was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is extremely easy to find and very private with beautiful redwood trees located in the front yard and a beautiful yard space in the back. The pool was a wonderful feature as the temps get hot in the San Gabriel valley. My entire family loved our stay and we hope to book this location again in the future. I highly recommend staying here. The house will not disappoint.

Wonderful home for families
We stayed in Greg's house in August 2018. We are a family of 5 with 3 young school aged children. Our family really enjoyed all parts of the house. The bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There's a great spot to relax and watch TV. The kids loved the pool! They swam every morning and evening. The hot tub was easy to use and warmed up super fast. We enjoyed eating outside almost every evening at the enormous table. We had a fantastic vacation. Thanks Greg

Fantastic stay at a beautiful home
The pictures do not do justice! Greg was an accommodating host and walked us through the house, always available without being intrusive. The house was very spacious with a huge backyard to host a get together for a party. Everyone enjoyed the heated pool and spa, and the light fixtures outside made the weekend very relaxed and enchanting. All the amenities you could ask for from a well-appointed home. I highly recommend Greg’a house and would not hesitate to stay there again!

Fantastic!
Rented this wonderful place for my family to stay at for my son's wedding. Paid to have the rehearsal lunch on the property. Greg provided extra chairs and tables. I originally rented wine glasses but there were so many in the home it was not necessary. The back yard was a fantastic place to entertain and to relax. Greg was responsive and great to work with. My co-workers are interested in renting as we had such a great experience! Thanks Greg!

Relaxing and Beautiful
The house and backyard are beautiful, pictures do not do it justice. Also very spacious. We used this house for a retreat and planning meetings for our department. Spent over 80% of our time in the backyard. Greg is very hospitable and responds very quickly to any questions and needs. Also the one bedroom suite is very spacious and private. Definitely a house I would like to return to for business or vacation!

A Mirage and Oasis for a Family Vacation11
Our family came to the area for our son's wedding. We stayed at this home for its location, amenities, description, and photos. Simply put, we were thrilled. The gated property was just as described and more. Three bedrooms, each with a very comfortable queen sized bed and full bathroom were perfect, and far enough apart to assure privacy.
We had a ferocious heat wave in LA during our time here. Yet, the clean house was well air-conditioned, well equipped and the crystal clear pool was an added treat.
With prior arrangements with the owner, we hosted an after wedding bagel and coffee brunch. Our guests were impressed with the venue too! It was easy to find - no one got lost. We communicated with Greg very easily. It was a pleasure to deal with him. We'd love to come again and enjoy the treat.

This is a great property for a large group. The property is well-maintained, and the host was very helpful and accommodating. Plenty of room for larger gatherings and lots of secluded places to get away for some quiet time. The pool with its beautiful patio area was our favorite hangout.

Pool and beautiful landscaping made us feel like we were at a resort, most days we were fine relaxing by the pool. although close proximity to hiking, hollywood and pasadena made it easy to get out and see the sights. kitchen was well stocked with all cooking ware and utensils, bedrooms and living spaces were comfortable, parking allowed for 3 cars and the many bathrooms gave each party their own space. walking distance to restaurants and grocery was very convenient.

My extended family and I (mother, sister, parents-in-law, husband, 3 kids) stayed at the house and apartment while in town for my other sister's wedding. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spacious, and has an absolutely stunning backyard. We had a great time swimming in the pool. We hosted a post- wedding brunch and a birthday dinner in the backyard. Our guests loved the house as well. The owner was great to work with. My family is already asking when we can come back.

What a beautiful home and great location for attending Rose Bowl Parade activities and hiking Eaton Canyon. Greg, the owner was fantastic and accommodated our whole family (children, grand children). Everyone had a wonderful time and the home was spacious and comfortable making us feel quite at home while far away from North Carolina. Convenient to everything including grocery stores, restaurants, and even Universal Studios which the grandchildren enjoyed tremendously. The hot tub was incredible. We also loved the gardens which were so well maintained. We have shared this with all our friends for when they go to this area. What a great vacation and family reunion!

When I scheduled our stay at this location there were no reviews. A week before our stay I logged on n saw a review and it was a bad one. I was SCARED. I was so relieved to find that Gregg, the owner, was a super nice guy who met me the night before our stay was to start to give me the keys n show me around. First impression was WOWWWY WOW WOW! Super nice n elegant inside. The pictures don't do it justice. He showed me how to use all 3 control areas of the air conditioning, surround sound system, etc. Super high tech. We then went outside n my eyes popped out of my head. I wish I had the words to describe how awesome, amazing, huge, and PIMP the outside was. Even bigger n better than the pictures show. Needless to say our stay was fantastic. We blasted music, played the piano, and partyed every night til 3am every night. No complaints. There is a guy in the guest house but we never saw him. I actually liked the idea of having him there cuz if something happened like plumbing issues we could go tell him n he'd fix it but nothing ever happened where we needed him so we never saw as he has his own private entrance etc. There was a smell when we walked in but that went away ASAP as we opened the windows, etc. Would stay there in a heartbeat again Gregg....thanks for ur hospitality n the folder u left us explaining how everything works.

My family ended NOT staying at this rental property!!!!! The moment I walked inside the house, my first impression was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT !!!!! The house feels creepy & smells fishy.... The furnitures were old and looks overused!!!! The pictures posted at the Homeaway website were deceiving!!!!!!
Without sharing my thoughts about this creepy property with my daughter and my son-in-law, they arrived at this property but had to leave in a hurry!!! There was something wrong with the atmosphere inside the house!!! Creepy!!! They ended up staying in a hotel.
Parking is on the streets which was not mentioned on the posting!!! There is a "guest house" at the back of the house right next to the pool area. My daughter saw a man hanging around near the guest house... Another thing that was not mentioned on the posting....that we should expect this person hanging around in the property...
I called Homeaway and made a complaint. The recommendation was to call and talk to the owner.
I made a complaint to the owner (Greg) who explained to me that there is Zero refund for late cancellation!!! The only refund I got was my property damage deposit. The owner still charged me the cleaning fee, even though the house was not occupied!!!
Therefore, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this property to anybody!! Rating would be ZERO !!!
