Nice and comfortable small remodeled house in Altadena. The location is conveniently located to downtown Altadena and just a short drive down Fair Oaks to Old Town Pasadena for great restaurants and shopping.

Nice experience

We booked this property for our Universal Studios trip with our kids. It was a perfect location. I wanted to be away from Hollywood and downtown LA but close enough to where it wasnt too far of a drive. The mountain range behind the neighborhood was beautiful. We were going to hike, but the kids preferred to drive to the top. Wimps! (lol) All in all, this was a great stay and slept the 5 of us just perfectly.

This house was very quaint. It was very well updated on the inside and had everything our family needed for our 4 days. The location was good for us as it got you out of the real busy part of the cities, but you could also be on the freeway within 5 min. The check in process was easy and the property manager was easy to get a hold of.

This was an important amenity for our group, and we were disappointed to see that the property did not have gym equipment. Very nice,quaint home in a very quiet Neighborhood. Better then staying in a hotel. Only recommendation is to have disinfectant wipes for counters and kitchen wash rags available.

We loved visiting Old Town Pasadena & it was super convenient to Dodgers Stadium & Griffith Park. We even explored further out with minimal difficulty to Ojah & Malibu.

Great location!!

What a comfortable home! Clean, spacious, and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here with our kids and grandma, and grandma‘s little dog! Seemed like every detail was covered: snacks left for us, notes on how to use everything, great beds/baths/linens, back patio space, parking, and even a new non-stick pan! My ONLY suggestions would be to add steak knives , fill up the propane gas for the grill, and afix the glass tabletop to the base. But these are all VERY minor compared to the rest of the perfect accoutrements of this place. Would definitely stay here again! THANK YOU!

Sage Cottage is a comfortable family spot and our dogs felt so welcome as well! We had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home and the host was really responsive and accommodating. We love the Altadena neighborhood!

This was a very well maintained home in an excellent neighborhood with a great view of the mountains and a lot of upscale amenities close by. My wife was making the cake for a wedding and this location and the kitchen worked out perfectly.

Overall, it was a nice place. We like to cook so we thought there could be more pots, pans etc available. Small thing. Nice, cozy, not fancy.

We with washcloths were provided but that is a very small thing. A nice tray of goodies is always left which is a very nice touch we haven't had at any other VRBO. The managers stay in touch and I'm sure would be there if there were any concerns. Yard was clean and kept up as well.

Location was perfect for us to to visit our family nearby and it's not a far drive to downtown Pasadena.

The most important being that the book of house instructions needs to be updated. For example, the microwave appears to have been changed and the instructions for operation in the book did not apply to the current microwave. Many items that were said to be in one location were in a completely different area. There was no dish drainer under the sink or anywhere in the house, for example. Also a couple thinks, like the toilet roll holder in the main BR was broken. We fixed it. We also fixed the Roku remote control. The silverware drawer has only 3 teaspoons in it for a house that supposedly sleeps 7. Also, a full length mirror and Kleenex would be nice. We were there for a wedding and there was no way to see how we looked from top to bottom. (I was the mother of the bride and would really have appreciated this.) Also, it's kind of tacky to have a "welcome" plate and bottle of wine, but then to ask that the guests replace them if they eat/drink them. It is a convenient location and was very clean.

The home was immaculate and we had just the right amount of space for our adult family group of 5. The surrounding neighborhood was perfect for nice walks.

Altadena is beautiful. It was great to have a house with a front and back yard as it provided plenty of space for our family. The couch appeared old and the Pack N Play available with the property was dirty. However, we mentioned this to the management company, which was very responsive and provided us with another Pack N Play later that day. Overall, this property can accommodate families well and the responsiveness of the management company is a plus.
