This is the second time we have booked to stay at this house because it is absolutely perfect for our family. The attention to detail that Angela and Curtis pay to this house is extraordinary. They have thought of everything! It's such a delight to stay in such a beautiful and well appointed short-term rental home. We will definitely be back for a third visit!

We once again greatly enjoyed our stay at this charming casita in a quiet Pasadena neighborhood of older, smaller homes. The owners lived next door but were never obtrusive (but readily available through the VRBO app) and the back patio was shielded by trees, so there is a sense of privacy. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio during the hot evenings, which was well-lit and comfortable. Green parrots flew over at dusk and dawn, but mostly we spotted dog walkers passing by. The house is only a 10-15 minutes drive away from Pasadena landmarks, such as downtown, the Convention Center, and the Norton-Simon Museum. The cottage is very stylish and unique, both in style and decor. The house was very comfortable and extremely clean but could have used some niceties like luggage racks, softer facial and toilet tissues, and higher showerheads in the bathrooms. The air/heat, WiFi, and smart TV worked fine. We really appreciated the labeled light switches and drawers, night lights, and the great lighting throughout the home. We didn't find any maintenance issues, which is extremely rare for regular VRBO travelers like us - so kudos to the owners. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend Casa de los Gatos in Pasadena to all.

Unless you stay here. This is the best rental we have ever stayed in. We have rented in Europe, across the US from the East Coast to Pasadena. The owners of this home have done an EXCELLENT job making a home away from home where people can be comfortable. We are chemical sensitive and we had no issues- they cleaned with scent free and we could use all the soaps they provided. There was not one thing we looked for that they hadn't provided. The thought and work that have gone into this house to make it a comfortable place to stay are exemplary. We needed an extra vase (beyond the one provided) and popped next door to the owners and they were happy to lend us one of theirs. They provided everything and we felt private and comfortable. I'm afraid to tell others about this home because it won't be available next time we want to come to Pasadena! Thank you so much for your love and care.

If I could give this house 6, 7, or 10 stars, I would. It is beautiful, spotless, extremely well stocked and wonderfully equipped. The pictures are very accurate and the neighborhood is peaceful and lovely and only blocks from a main street where you can find plenty of food and supplies. This gem feels very much like a home away from home, cozy and comfortable, and Angela and Curtis are great hosts. I exercise on the floor every morning and I can tell you there is not one dust bunny in this house. It is probably the most spotless VRBO we have ever rented. All the instructions were very clear, checkin and out were easy. Having laundry facilities makes a huge difference. We got there late on the first night and they left a light on, the heat on and cookies to welcome us. There is a marvelous hot beverage station in the kitchen with everything you could need to make anything you want. The appliances are fairly new and beautifully clean.The kitchen has everything you could possibly need.There are lots of windows for wonderful California sunshine, plenty of room to spread out and there is a terrific patio where we could eat outside and relax. The hosts have really thought of everything. If you are looking for a really comfortable, delightful and low key get away, we highly recommend this home. We will definitely look forward to a return visit. Many thanks Angela and Curtis for a total 5 star experience!

This is the best equipped rental that we have ever stayed in. An older home that’s been tastefully remodeled throughout, Casa de Los Gatos has everything you’ll need or want for an effortless stay. Clean and comfortable, we highly recommend this home for stays of any length.

Angela’s place was exactly as described. The place had several thoughtful touches including a welcome message with coffee/cookies. We were in town for a convention and the location was great to get to downtown. Neighborhood was quiet and the backyard was great for relaxing after a long day. This beautiful Casa De Los Gatos home in Pasadena is a fantastic place to stay. The stunning interior design and attention to detail impressed us upon arrival. The fully equipped kitchen saved us money on dining out, and we enjoyed calm evenings on the patio. The bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. The location was convenient and secluded, close to restaurants, shopping, and CalTech. Angela and Curtis were super helpful and responsive to our needs. We had an incredible stay and highly recommend this beautiful home.

Cute, comfortable, and super clean. My husband and I enjoyed walking in the lovely quiet neighborhood each morning and watching the hummingbirds and bulbuls flit around the yard. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to the area.

This home was perfect for our family of 4. It was the best location for the activities that we wanted to do and not too far away from Burbank where our daughter lives. The home was well appointed and the beds were so comfortable.

This property was very well maintained. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. We were able to cook a nice dinner, sit at the outside coffee table, and relax. The sunroom was a nice bonus.
The master king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. The other beds were nice, too. The showers had nice water flow and heated pretty quickly.
Having an automatic filtered water dispenser in the fridge was a nice addition.
There’s a very well-stocked clean grocery store and some restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.
Check-in was quick and easy.
The hosts were ind, accommodating, and responsive.
I would definitely recommend this property.

We had a wonderful week! The property was as described and then some! The hosts thought of everything: coffee, tea, condiments, shampoo, q-tips, etc. The home was clean and is in a great neighborhood! Working Trip
This was a working trip that turned into what felt like coming home each day due to this wonderful house, terrific owners and the loving attention to detail Angela and Curtis have put into this property. It was extremely nice to have such a wonderfully laid out and stocked kitchen for preparing our meals since the Covid-19 had dining out limited. I would highly recommend this location for your stay in the Pasadena area.

A Slice of Heaven
We fell in love with this charming home. We were so impressed with the attention to detail and found ourselves more and more enthralled with every new discovery from the cool art, helpful Pasadena books, furnishings, and kitchen essentials (kids plates, stainless steel chopsticks, flavored syrup station by the coffee machine!).
Communication with Angela and Curtis was seamless and instant. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful.
I don't think I'll ever stay anywhere else when I come to Pasadena. I loved this house and can't wait to visit it again.

Outstanding in every way. One of the best.
We stayed for 6 nights during our son's wedding. The home was exceptionally clean, well equipped, comfortable and in a quite neighborhood. It was conveniently located within a 5 min walk to grocery, restaurants, and shopping. The hosts were quite helpful and accessible if needed. We left some headphones behind and they mailed them back to us immediately.
You won't go wrong if you are looking for a quite, spacious and immaculate home in the Pasadena area. Highly recommended.

Going to the Rose Bowl parade and game has been a bucket list item for me for years. This house, the location and the owners made this experience extraordinary. A lovely place to spend the holidays!
We were visiting family in LA for Christmas, and Angela and Curtis went out of their way to make sure our holiday was special, even though we were away from home. They even provided us with a pre-lit tree and a basket full of ornaments so that our daughters could decorate it, which we really appreciated. The house was great and we really enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely recommend it to others!

Sweet little home
Our daughter got married in Pasadena and we were looking for a place close to the venue and we found this sweet little home. It was decorated so nicely and there were just the little thoughtful touches throughout the house. A nice little welcoming basket with goodies and a well stocked coffee bar area. Angela was so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this little house.
