Fabulous! The cabin had everything we needed plus more. We spent most of our vacation on the beach and lake. It was very relaxing and much needed getaway. I’ve recommended the property to everyone.

My family and I had a wonderful week staying in these two beautiful cabins. The sandy beach is perfect for swimming, boating and paddle boarding, and the property is very well equipped with canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and life vests. Our kids are adults, but this would be a great spot for younger children too with a playground and beach toys.

My husband, my two adult children and their partners, and my “granndogter” enjoyed an incredible 3 days celebrating Mother’s Day and my birthday. The cabin was all that the description said it would be and MORE! (I would tell you about the “more” but, I don’t want to spoil the pleasant little surprises). I highly recommend this VRBO to “you” and I will be telling my friends and family about it, too! We are looking forward to our next stay in September as we have booked both cabins on the property for lodging before and after my daughter’s wedding in Loudon. We look forward to the possibility of this location becoming a traditional “home away from home” for our family. Book your stay today. It will not disappoint.

The house is beautiful and cozy, and I love the smell of the pine paneling. Having a beach and lake was exactly what we were looking for. Well-outfitted kitchen (knives could use to be sharpened), and the place had a lot of nice touches like brownies on the counter and a basket full of slippers. The owner was very responsive.
Closer to the main road than it appears but there's a _huge_ lawn separating the house from the highway which the kids loved during the day and we heard only faint noise at night. Would be a particularly amazing summer place when the boats and outdoor shower are available.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful, with a private beach, firepit, and with all the amenities of a luxury hotel. It is located within a 10 minute drive of great restaurants and supermarkets but still feels remote and private. Our host was very responsive and thoughtful: we had brownies and wine for the adults, and dog treats for our pup waiting when we checked in. The only drawback was the very early checkout (10am) as we really wish we could have stayed a little longer. We can't wait to come back again!

This cabin is deserving of all 5 stars. It's right on the water. Right off of a main road for easy access. Super clean. Everything was perfect. We got snowed in but we didn't care- we cooked in the pristine kitchen and relaxed by the fire. Couldn't ask for better accommodations!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a weekend of relaxing and unwinding. Hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. We are already making plans to go back again next year!

Every year my family and I plan a winter getaway in New England, and Sharon’s place was perfect for the long weekend! Between a 2 year old and 6 adults we had more than enough space. House was so clean and well stocked. We loved hanging in the kitchen and living room, it was all so cozy! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a perfect weekend. The house was so lovely and cozy that we didn't want to leave it. Comfy furniture & fully equipped kitchen -- The Christmas tree and lights in the windows made it feel like we were in a holiday movie. Property is immaculate with no details over looked. Me and my four best college friends had the most relaxing and comfortable weekend at this perfectly appointed luxury cabin. Communication with homeowner was easy and I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

We were attending a family wedding and we stayed at this beautiful cabin on the lake. We all had such a great time. The cabin is beautiful and you can’t get a more beautiful location. It was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again if we ever came back!

Cabin and property is exactly as described! It was very clean and toiletries and kitchen was very well stocked. The view of the lake was amazing. Our only thought was that it was very close to a busy street, but that's unavoidable it seems. Highly, highly recommend!

I booked this cabin over a year ago as a space for myself, my bridesmaids and my mother to get ready for my wedding. I wanted everyone to be comfortable and have space to sit and relax as this is a long day of hair and makeup. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. So much so that we chose to begin our professional photos here with the lake in the background. The cabin was extremely cozy and we were able to relax on the couch and some of us sat down on the dock and read books while waiting for our turns to get ready. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend much more time at the cabin however I would absolutely keep this in mind for a family trip in the future in order to utilize the lakefront! Sharon was incredibly responsive throughout the process as I did have to make a couple of changes to the reservation over the year and she was behind anyone accommodating. Thanks again for helping make my big day so memorable!

My wife and I have greatly enjoyed New England our married life of 53 years along with our family. The lakes of NH are especially beautiful and enjoy them greatly. We have rented from Sharon before and everything about the experience was exceptional !

Everything was there for our stay. Even dog treats and brownies. Very clean. Its own beach. Fire pit. Dock. Lots of grass for yard games and even swings canoes and kayaks.

Shangri-La exceeded our expectations! Its location is so convenient...on the water but close to anything one needs on vacation (boat rental, mini golf, ice cream, what else do you need?!!!). The amenities & "extras" (dog biscuits, condiments, smores ingredients/candy, homemade brownies, toiletries, etc) were all a pleasant surprise...we had to bring home much of what we brought! It really was a perfect accommodation for what our party of 8 needed (we brought an air mattress and someone slept on the couch). We had our private beach, boat dock, swim dock and much more. We highly recommend Shangri-La to anyone looking for a cozy, well-appointed and wonderful waterfront experience!

A wonderful time at the cabin. Just bring your clothes, everything provided! A lot of extra touches from the fresh flowers and brownies to the bed and snacks for our pup !!

We spent a week in May at appropriately named Shangra-la. The house was extremely clean (something that I am very picky about) and very well appointed with everything we needed and more. The host was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do (although we didn’t want to leave the waterfront for any length of time).
There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The boats and life jackets were very convenient and fun. The yard was very large, the waterfront had easy walk in access, and they even provided wood for the fire pit. Solid 5+ star property.

The cabin was spotless and ideal for our needs. Lots of attention to details and needs of our group. Provided everything you would need for the little ones, including beach toys. Also had a lease, lead, a dog bed and bowls for our dog!

This is our second time renting this property and we wouldn't think twice about renting it again. The home is immaculate. We got to wake up every morning with a beautiful view of the lake. Everything is close by but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Looking forward to renting again in the not too distant future.
