Ice machine was broken, continental breakfast was meager, staff difficult to reach, room was really small with no view. This property was not as nice as advertised

Th Inn was very outdated, not that clean, there wasn't even a cup in the room, for after I brushed my teeth. I do have to admit that when I realized that our room was on the 3rd floor I did ask for a first-floor room as I could not climb stairs, so maybe that was way we had a very outdated room on the back side of the Inn. The comforters on the beds were pilled, and not the nice. No i would not stay there again.

Property was right on the main road so it was a tad noisy. What was worse is that it's under renovations and the property is not in great shape at the moment. Staffing was also limited so few people wearing a lot of hats.

some left a used tampon in the vanity cabinet... yuck.. gross! I wanted to vomit

The main number listed goes to voicemail and is never answered. The secondary number found on their site, I called around 10am the day of check-in to specifically ask if someone would be at the desk when we check in after a wedding we were attending around 10:30pm. The guy I spoke to said yes. I get two calls in the middle of the wedding at 5:30 asking what time I will be checking in after I already told them. I tell them again 10:30pm. We get to the property and no one is there to check us in. The phone was going unanswered, my husband didn’t know about the secondary phone number. 15 minutes later we get ahold of him and got into our room but having to wait after being told someone would be there was frustrating. He did offer us $100 back which was great because the room was not worth the $350 we paid. There was blood on the bathroom door. The shower curtain was kind of gross. And there are gaps around the main door where light and bugs can easily come through. Breakfast was not available when we were leaving at 8:30ish. All around not worth what was paid.

First not on the lake as advertised. Short towels and no tissues. No Internet. Beds comfortable.

We waited a while for someone to come check us in. By the time we got to our room, that person was gone. Never to be seen or heard from again. There was no internet, TV didn't work and neither did the remote control. I immediately went back to the office and left a message on the desk, stating so. No one answered the 2 phone numbers that was posted on the office door to call if we needed anything. I tried calling for 2hrs. No way to leave a message and no answer. We left to go to our concert and returned back to the Inn around 11:30pm. The main door was left open and still no one was around. Luckily, we didn't forget or lose our key, because we wouldn't be able to get into our room. It was my daughter and myself in our room. It felt very unsafe, knowing anyone could walk in the front door. There was no phone in our room as well. We went to bed and when we got up and was ready to check out, there still was no one in the office. I left the keys and we left. I will never stay there again. We did not feel safe.

Didn't stay, facility was very rough looking. Not at all as advertised on the web site. Stayed at the Best Western in Laconia.

Room was clean but tiny and no chair to even sit on in. My biggest complaint is there was NO hot water for our showers, Wi-Fi did not reach our room and tv/cable was not working . Staff at check in was usually not there. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The room was small. No bureau or closet. The bathroom door did not close completely Nice area with great views.

Ariived at 3:00 to check in and waited a half hour for someone to come to the check in desk along with 3 other couples. Room very sparsely stocked, not a Kleenex to be found and towels of poor quality.

The most horrible place I think I’ve ever walked into. You could barely move in the room. The bathroom smelled like urine. The room smelled like smoke. I can’t even believe that this is listed as a recommended place to stay. The only good thing was the view of the lake. I must say the couple that was running the whole place were very nice and helpful when I requested a refund and moved to another place that really wasn’t that much better but certainly better than here.

This property has gone downhill and needs some TLC by someone who cares as it has such great potential to be a nice historical property with a few upgrades.

Exterior of building was disgusting and alarming. We had it set in our minds we would not be staying here. Check in was supposed to be 3 there was nobody at the desk and a line of people started to form. We had an event to get to and wanted to refresh in the room quick and head back out. Finally someone appeared at 3:20 and when she looked for my booking she said I had canceled. I did cancel and rebooked and I had my booking pulled up on hotels app to show her, she said she would give us a room, well thank goodness because I had a live booking for proof. She said the room wasn’t ready (it was supposed to be by 3) So we weren’t able to use the room and we did not feel safe leaving our belongings. We came back at 11pm and beds were changed but bathroom was not clean, seems there is ongoing repairs and the sawdust was still there around the toilet and bathroom floors and doors were covered in it. I will never come here again!

I can tell you one thing that my room was not anywhere close to being what was advertised. Our door would not close or lock. The bathroom door did not close. Check in was at 3. We were told to come at 4 because our room was not ready. Our bed had plastic sheets. Apparently people who stay at this place pee the bed quite often. Our bed was broken. I could have grabbed a card board box from Home Depot up the road and it would have been more comfortable than that bed

The inn was not very clean. The sheets looked stained and were rough. There was a comforter on it that seemed like it was from an old college dorm. The bathroom had what looked like blood splatter on the walls. Would not stay here again.

though recently updated it is still an older hotel there was no hot water (just tepid) and the room was damp along with bedding despite the ac being on all night. The remote did not turn the TV on or off, you could change the channels with the remote but not the power despite this giving them 3 stars as I think the new ownership are trying to update.

Property was outdated for the price

Called to confirm reservations to learn they did not have a room for us. Had to find another option. Absolutely terrible experience- hard to trust.

there was a mistake in the reservation, the hotel did not see it, but did accommodate me and found me a room. It was small but very comfortable and clean. The gentlemen who was the manager was so very pleasant and did everything he could to assist me and my party in getting a room for the evening. I took a card because I will definitely return and give this Inn my business, plus the views of the lake across the street are breathtaking.

first, the staff are wonderful. for what we paid for two nights expected better room: the place appears to be in remodeling, so keep that in mind. 1. shower faucet is backwards. turn to cold to get hot water, hot to cold. 2. the bathroom cabinet door fell off when we opened it. we put it back and did not open again. 3. Toilet stopped up, plunger in the bathroom didnt quite help. 4. Smelled like cigarette smoke when we first came in. 5. TV comes on. Staff were great, coffee was good at continental breakfast.

The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable for an inn. Beautiful views and overall a nice place.

The inn is very outdated and needs work. Our room smelled of wet dog and the toilet was filthy. The towels provided were very thin and cheap. It’s a great location but the owners definitely need to do some upgrades

DO NOT STAY HERE. This is falsely advertised with its pictures. I had to do a late check in because we went to a concert and didn’t have the time to go to the hotel too. Then checked in for us, texted us the code to the keys which was in a lock box had more than just ours in there with our name on it and room number..a staff person came out and got them for us because it was so hard to see the combo lock. The hallway carpets were all stained and there was a headrest outside our room. Inside, the box spring was bar and the comforter was too small to fit on the bed or even cover it. There was discoloration on the countertop above the fridge which was either a stain or dirty and hadn’t been cleaned, which I wasn’t going to check. There was a dirty stained towel hanging in the bathroom. The room smelled completely musty. I could have gotten a clean Hampton Inn for what they charged me there. I left 10 minutes later, and there were several keys in there so I don’t think I was the only one. Upon exiting, we ran into 2 women who asked if we were leaving because they thought about it and decided to buy pillows because they were afraid to sleep on the ones in the room. We decided to drive over 3 hours at midnight rather than stay in this filthy hotel. I texted the manager the next day and heard nothing. I think they don’t care about the bad reviews and just take the money.

It was adequate. Checking in there was nobody around and the listed phone numbers did not work. The air conditioner rattled noisily all night long. We ran out of toilet paper with no backup roll in the room. And no tissues.

I had higher expectations of this inn. But the price for the night was too high , and the rooms did not have anywhere to put your belongings , my room was about 12 by 12 or so it felt. The breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast without any thing . I would not recommend staying here if you need anything more than a bed .

I felt like the toilet was going to fall through the floor, the shower was tiny the bathroom was on a slant, the rugs were stained. I would never pay this price for these accommodations. This is just in the first 5 minutes we have been here.

Never went beacuse they called 2 days before and cancelled our reservation bc they said they had a "fire" and the construction was suppose to be done and they were over booked and for us not to worry because my card would not be charged. They did seem too concerned that we wouldnt have a place to stay! Will not recommended to anyone!

Like most of the reviews. It’s pretty bad. The general facility is in terrible shape and dirty. There is no way they ever do a breakfast, that is just false advertising at this point. Room smelled, and whoever did the “renovation” of our room was not qualified to do it. No hot water, all the bathroom fixtures just fell off the wall. Bed was pretty comfortable, I will give them that.

Room not ready. No towels provided room dirty and out dated. Terrible property. Would not recommend this to anyone.

This place is a dump, doing renovations and there are things every where. The first room they gave us was dirty, stunk, discussing. You cannot find anyone at any time at the front desk, they finally moved us to another room, filthy towels we went and bought towels, and slept on new sheets that we bought. Couldn't go to another place as it was bike week and everything was taken.

Took forever for anyone to answer the phone any time we called especially when standing at the front desk. There was garbage left in the bathroom medicine cabinet the sheets and towels were stained. They advertised as having free breakfast but no one was on site and the front desk did not open until 9am overall it was an ok place if you need somewhere cheap and quick to stay
