The owner was prompt on responding to any questions. The property was as described in the listing. Our family had fun playing, swimming and using the canoe and paddle boat at the lake. It was well stocked with kitchen items. We would recommend this property.

The Cabin at Natural Valley is the perfect retreat for a mini family reunion - the house and property have everything you’ll need. And the town of Brownsburg is a short drive with lots of cute shops and restaurants.

Spent a long weekend with 19 family members. All enjoyed the stay. There was plenty of space to socialize or get away alone. The activities that were available made it a fun weekend. Any questions were answered quickly. We highly recommend the cabin.

This was a perfect location for our family to gather to celebrate our don’s graduation! The large deck overlooked a pretty pond. There were many spaces for people to gather. We also enjoyed making the small front room into a puzzle room. Some of the sofas have seen better days, but all beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was great!

Feels secluded but it's real convenient and close to shopping and food. Amazing deck and a great space for a large group.

This was the perfect place for all ages. Everyone in our party had a Great time. Our kids rode the horses, enjoyed petting the animals and hiking on the trail. The lake is a great place to relax and unwind, nice that they have boats to use. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This place is amazing. There is so much space for a large group. You feel very secluded. There is a rails-to-trails hiking biking/path that you can access off the property as well.

Beautiful and spacious log home with lots of amenities. Only complaint is that the upstairs bedrooms do not have a ceiling, so you can here everyone that’s talking outside of those rooms.

It was a great place to stay for all of our family and friends from Maine who came to cheer on our boys playing in a national basketball tournament. There was plenty of spaces to hang out and visit and the kitchen was well equipped to make meals for this large group. It is in a very rural setting and felt completely safe and comfortable. I would highly reccommend for large groups.

We have stayed here each January for the last several years, and always have a great time. The house is spacious, open and has plenty of room for large groups. I would conintue to recommend it!

There were nine of us staying in this beautiful home and there was plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and the owners decorated the house perfectly for the Christmas holiday which was nice because our family was celebrating our Christmas there. The animals roaming the property was so much fun! The owner responded quickly to all of my questions. Their hospitality was exceptional. We would definitely stay there again. As an added bonus there is a ramp leading into the home which was helpful for me as I am in a wheelchair. My family has stayed in VRBO's every Christmas for the last 14 years and we all agreed that this was the best house! Thank you, Chuck, for sharing your ranch with us!

We had a very enjoyable and festive stay at the cabin! We love the ambience, and had enough space for our entire family, including the little ones to enjoy.

Beautiful location overlooking pond. Lots of seating. Everything we needed for 19 people; plenty of dishes, glasses, pans, etc. Sound travels easily in this cabin. Host responded in less than an hour to our request. Homey space for gathering.

This was a beautiful place with a gorgeous setting. We were appreciative of all the kitchen and other available supplies (cooking oil, many small appliances, baby gates...). We found that 2 of the exterior door locks did not work, so we notified the owner. You should know that the petting zoo is free but the horesback riding is not. There is an additional price for each rider. Overall, no place is perfect, but this place was relaxing, the owners were kind, the setting was impressive and so was the cabin. We hope to return sometime.

This cabin was everything our family needed. The kids loved the pond with the boats and the horses. We loved the campfire pavilion and the yard to run around and play. Only thing to note, on the main floor porch was a little dangerous for our 2 toddlers. They could easily fit under the bottom wire (honestly any child could) and fall 2 floors down. My last thing to note is the stairs going up to the 2nd floor are open backs and once again I was nervous for my toddler to climb the stairs himself. Overall it’s a wonderful place for large families to stay.

Fantastic trip!! Took the kids to the children's museum during the day and relaxed at the property in the evening. Hope to return next year!!

Our family rents a vrbo every year for a family reunion. There are 13 of us so we need a fairly large place. We also have a list of “requests” before a place can be considered for our trip. Among the “must haves” is a pool table, a lake or swimming pool and 5-6 bedrooms. This trip had a lake for fishing and a pool table. The lake was a big hit with the kids due to a paddleboat and lots of fish biting. The pool table was an issue. The table was in poor condition, missing 2 balls (replaced by the owners in hours) but also was missing the rack to rack the balls. It was promised within 2 days but never received so no pool playing for us this trip. Everyone enjoyed the horseback riding – and took trail rides 2 days of the trip. The other rescue animals were also a big hit with the kids and they enjoyed bringing them veggie scraps from dinner. The home is a beautiful log home, but without insulating walls, it was a noisy home for sleeping. Owners were very pleasant and responsive to our calls.

We loved the space. It provided a quiet area to celebrate, relax and enjoy our family. The house was big with plenty of bedrooms and room to gather together. The kids loved the animals and visited them often. The horse lovers in our group really enjoyed the trail rides. We had a memorable time. We did some fun western activities with the kids which fit the place. The owners were friendly and easy to work with, answering any questions we had. It was a get-a-way we will remember. Thanks. It would have been good to know that the lake was not swimmable. Some parts of the house could use a deeper cleaning: - The outdoor tables were very messy when we got there. - The cupboards should be gone through and organized. - Several pans could be tossed - one was caked with some burned material. - The couch cushions could be removed and vacuumed underneath The ice makers don't work. The main bedroom and bathroom were very nice but the hole in the vanity should be repaired The outdoor shelter was very dirty so we did not use this space. You have a type of bee drilling holes in the beams and are causing sawdust to filter down onto the furniture. You may need an exterminator to get rid of them.

Our family (ages 9-77) takes annual trips every year. The handicapped ramp and first floor master bedroom & bath was helpful for my father who uses a walker to get around. The kids all enjoyed the boats and fishing but decided not to go swimming due to the large turtles we saw. The petting zoo was a huge plus as well. We just wish we would have scheduled a trail ride online prior to our visit because they were sold out while we were there. All in all though we had a great time!

The log cabin is an incredible lodging to stay in. We were looking for a little more room in our vacation rental and this was the perfect size to give everyone their own space. My wife and I took two of our adult sons and their families, including 5 grandkids. We also brought our two elderly mothers who enjoyed their stay as well. We were close enough to the city to enjoy its attractions. But we really like the rural location and the surrounding natural landscape. The family enjoyed the animals on site including the horse stables. Although there were issues with the water system right before we arrived, the owner worked diligently to fix it. There were some safety issues we found, knowing we had small children with us, but Chuck worked with us to correct them. Overall, we liked the stay and enjoyed the surroundings.

This residence was perfect for our family "cousin camp." The house is larger than it looks in the pictures. There were a few quirks but the layout, water, and shelter were great hits.

Great Location. Plenty of space. Enough activities for all ages.
