Really need more dishes and coffee mugs, for the price should have sheets and towels. It was a great cozy house with a beautiful location, and view of the river. Many deer show up at dawn.Overall we had a great weekend

Friends and I enjoyed being so close to Gruene and having the flexibility to walk to venues . Also, fantastic views of wildlife at all times.

Great little house very clean great frint porch with picnic table [Bring chairs] Nice picnic table and pit down by water. Overall i would definitely stay here again.

The location and river are amazing! The house is not elaborate but is clean and the beds sleep well. I do feel that it is a little high priced for having to provide all linens, towels, wash rags, etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very understanding when we had a last minute addition of a dog joining us, as well as when another of our friends showed up with a second dog unannounced (I was pretty ticked at those friends myself). The porch was the best part of the house (we're outdoor people), and the ability to chunky dunk from the private river access at night is a huge plus.

My husband said this was the best birthday weekend ever.

The deer was my favorite part of the entire stay, everyday ALL day they were right at your porch just relaxing and enjoying themselves. The little baby deer were so cute. The beds were comfortable, AC worked amazing, the house we perfect and the location was incredible. We will be back for sure and will rent this house again. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great!! VERY near the heart of Gruene. Seven of us stayed and had plenty of room. Not a large house but very functional. Had everything we needed. Nice large bedrooms. The living areas are bigger than they look in the pictures. The lawn in back of the house is very large and has lots of huge trees. Beautiful. Lots of deer too! There are two picnic tables and a fire pit right near the river. The river directly in front of the house was kind of still but within 50 yards are some rapids and then a great swimming area. All walking distance. If you are looking for luxury, this may not be the place for you because the house is older and the furniture is basic but everything functioned well and was clean. Also note that you have to provide your own sheets and towels. If you are looking for a great location with a house with enough room, clean, well stocked, on the river with a large covered deck and a great outside area, this would be a great fit for you! We would definitely stay again!!

Loved this house. I was there for Spring Break with my teenage son and several of his friends. The boys and I had a great time. They were able to walk to town and enjoy Gruene. We used the BBQ Pitt and fire pit and brought our own corn hole set and other outdoor games. Bring your own trash bags, soap, paper towels and toilet paper. We will rent this house again for sure! Thank you!!!

Our whole group enjoyed the stay very much The view and the access to the river were a major plus and the houses were above our expectation as far as tidiness. Will definitely come back. Location is great!

We took a family trip and the location was perfect! Greune is walking distance and the river is almost at your doorstep.

This was about our 5th time to stay in this house. Always a good time! We love the property and the river access!

Perfect location for tubing

This is a great rental for family or friends gathering. We had 2 families with a total of 10 people stay here and there was plenty of room. The waterfront was prefect to anchor your tube and chill. Owners take great care of the landscape too. This is a prefect getaway to enjoy the outdoors.

Easy to contact owner, Jamie was great and quick to respond with our questions. Beautiful property and land— The pics online are accurate—lots of land for the kids to play, morning visits from the deer, we loved our stay and would love to stay again. Two of our biggest cons with the property : 1. It took us about a 12-15 min walk to Greune, mostly without sidewalks. We were not comfortable with this at night or during the day with the kids. So we drove there and parking is terrible. 2. The river was difficult to Acess for swimming, and hanging out, You have to go through the grass from the bank—a ladder would be great and a floating dock would be amazing.

Some friends and I stayed here over memorial weekend to celebrate a birthday. Location was close to everything but also had its seclusion. I can see this place being great for family gatherings. This place had everything basic you need to cook large meals. Great spacious outdoor patio. It was a great getaway and it felt like home.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was provided except of course linens and towels. The cabin was clean and is a quiet area. Saw a couple deer that kept their distance maybe because they sensed our dog. You could walk to Greine but very busy road so you would have to be careful.

Will definitely stay again, awesome host, good communication, we even stayed one extra day. Thanks

Came for a quick weekend and had a blast! Parked ourselves in the river-which is SO close to the house!-and stayed there for hours.

Nice and clean. Great Location. Semi-Private access to river no need to get in car to go anywhere - porch was fantastic to watch all the deer from - would stay again.

Wife and I decided to take the kids out for a weekend getaway. Nearly upon arrival, deer was spotted by our rental. The kids were extremely excited to see that. We did fishing, swimming, and grilling as a family. All located privately on our rental property. It was great! The owners were very friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely stay here again.

The property was very clean. We did have to take all linens including pillows due to Covid but that was no problem. A/C worked like a charm to everyone’s comfort. My communication with the owners was welcoming and they responded in a timely manner. Convenient to the river as well as the Gruene District. There were many deer 🦌 seen; up to 15 at one time. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.

We made a last minute trip to the Guadalupe with our family and found this rental. Everything was great, clean, well stocked, great back porch, so many deer to watch, huge yard and river access. Definitely recommend and will rent again if come back!

We came for the Fourth of July to float the river and this was the perfect location! Close to everything and just the perfect amount of seclusion from the city! We loved the beautiful deer visiting us and we will for sure be booking here again!

2nd year at this location and were just as pleased as last year. Owners are incredibly friendly and make themselves available if anything happens. This year I missed the information regarding pillows and our owners brought some after 10pm......absolutely amazing. Thank you for another great stay!!!

Our group had an amazing experience here and we are hopeful to return and stay again! The owners we're very friendly and available as needed. Everything was as pictured and promised. Very clean home. Cold AC. All the basics we're covered and everyone had a great time. As far as folks coming to tube the river, you cant beat this location and overall EASE of being able to get into/on the river fast/easy! Great property and owners. 5 stars and hopeful to come and stay again next summer!

We had such a great time! This house was perfect for us. 4 adults and 2.5 year old twins. The house was right on the river but not too close we had to worry about the boys wondering into the water. Walking distance to Rockin Rs and Gruene Hall! Would highly recommend.

Cool little house in a great location in Gruene, TX. Good access to river, about 150yds off. Everyone enjoyed feeding the deer. Had a great time and would DEFINITELY rent here again.
