Questa unità si trova all'ultimo piano di una bella casa della Regina Anna situata a soli 4 isolati dal campus UC Berkeley. È stato recentemente ristrutturato, vernice fresca in tutte le camere e nuovi impianti per il bagno con vasca e doccia con artigli classici. L'arredamento è pulito, elegante e confortevole. La cucina è ben arredata con lavastoviglie, piano cottura, nuovo forno a microonde e tostapane, inoltre ha tutto l'essenziale per cucinare favolosi pasti con cibi freschi del famoso mercato contadino del sabato Berkeley a un paio di isolati di distanza.
Ci sono anche numerosi ristoranti acclamati come Chez Panisse e Cafe Gratitude, e eccellenti opportunità di shopping a pochi passi da casa tua. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) è a pochi isolati di distanza e consente di accedere a tutta la Bay Area. Se stai guidando, c'è un parcheggio fuori strada che può ospitare due auto. 2nd 6-week stay went smoothly. Convenient, spacious location near Trader Joe's, restaurants (rec. Imm) and coffee shops (My Coffee is the best! Great outdoor patio, lattes, owners). Outdoor, great music Friday nights nearby at former theater. Lockbox check in and departure. Incredibly responsive owner/mgr. Recommend!

Bed comfortable, kitchen chairs and sofa not so much for aging spines but cushions helped. Good shower in bathtub. Patio nice when weather cooperates. Parking spot included. Hope to return!

Couldnt not find a better option in Berkeley
I was fortunate to have stayed for about a month and the location was fantastic, the place is exactly as described and it easily exceeded my expectations. As I am a regular visitor to Berkeley I almost didnt want to write a glowing review so no-one else books the place but couldn't do it to the owners who were also ready to help!

This place is so adorable. The location is unmatched, you will be right smack in the middle of downtown Berkeley, 2 minute walk from the culinary delights of university ave and less then 10 minute walk to downtown Bart. Trader Joes is a 2 minute walk away. Even though you are downtown, the house still is very quiet. The kitchen is bright and light filled and you can hear the birds sing in the morning and outside there is a lovely sunny deck for drinking coffee. The washer/dryer/dishwasher are all brand new and work great. I don't think the pictures do justice to this happy space. The owner is very kind and responsive.We ended up staying for 6 months and loved it!

This place is so adorable. The location is unmatched, you will be right smack in the middle of downtown Berkeley, 2 minute walk from the culinary delights of university ave and less then 10 minute walk to downtown Bart. Overall the flat is lovely: nicely furnished and equipped with literally everything you need. The kitchen is a wonderful space to cook, work and entertain. The only real downside is that the bathroom is incredibly cold in January as the window is fixed to be permanently open.
Having said all this, be sure to book your entire stay on Homeaway upfront. Despite our longstanding written agreement (by email) that I would be occupying the flat for four months (I am on sabbatical in Berkeley), the owner managed to double-book the apartment for the latter portion of my stay, and made me move out after only four weeks. While she was apologetic, the resulting inconvenience has had a lasting negative impact on my time in Berkeley.

Overall the flat is lovely: nicely furnished and equipped with literally everything you need. The kitchen is a wonderful space to cook, work and entertain. The only real downside is that the bathroom is incredibly cold in January as the window is fixed to be permanently open.

The sunset is amazing from the view as well as breakfast our doors in the morning. The place has a big yard for a dog, ours was always roaming around, very happy. Place to Explore Berkeley!

This apartment (and the one downstairs) are easily my first choices when I we need something more than a hotel room. The apartment is charming, homey, and tastefully decorated; the landlords are highly responsive. There's laundry in the basement, parking in the back, Trader Joe's on the corner, and the Shattuck Avenue restaurants just a few blocks away -- who could ask for more?
I'll also say that the value offered here is really great -- for this location, with these amenities, it's a find!
My executives really like staying here; I really like working with these landlords...the only reason I hesitate to write a glowing review is it means it's less likely I'll be able to get in when I need it! But seriously -- if you're here to visit friends in the Berkeley area (or on campus) this is a great place to stay.

The apartment was very convienent to downtown Berkeley. We didn't have a car and our way around town was super easy - close to numerous restaurants, stores, the BART and campus. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated, we love a lot the kitchen, we spent many times to cook with a wonderful view. Our little family had a fabulous time there to begin our new life in California. Thanks for renting this apartment.

Great Location. Excellent for families with young children.

caution
warm in the summer during the day without air conditioning, close to market to walk and car parking is difficult and requires moving at lunch and at other inconvenient times to allow others to park double cars in a very hard to park area. Smaller than standard stairs and not easy to use areas in batchroom for counter space for women needing space for dressing.... sanitary and comfortable for a short stay.
CAUTION . NOT for the easily trusting such as the young unprofessional as "tricks" to promise more than able to deliver. Watch out and confirm every detail and follow up daily to prevent possible issues.
