Location fantastic. Facilities were all there, though a little tired and dated, we had no problem with them, although the hand basin needs some plumbing with water backing up. Host was quick to respond and helpful. Would recommend to others.
Cleaning should check items in the pantry. There were items left open to cockroaches or whatever, not put in plastic storage of any kind. Should have been thrown out.

Quiet and convenient location. Would have liked the facilities better if not for the poor water discharge at the toilet basin. One more toilet would be best.
Sand flies in the garden. Single bed mattresses were too soft.

Great location, probably 30 minutes walk to the heart of Wanaka (for us 65 year olds). Very quiet location. Well equipped house with a log burner which I used every day to take the overnight chill off the house (I'm not allowed one at home!)
Only surprise (this was rental eight of our New Zealand trip) was this was the first with no tea/coffee, milk provided.

Great location within easy walk on Wanaka centre. Well equipped and very cozy with wood burner. Owners super responsive! Would stay again.

Nice quiet area. 5 mins drive to the centre. Hosts very accommodating and responsive. Warm fire, plenty of dry wood. Cute garden outside.
The 3rd bedrooms is upstairs on mezzanine so no closing door as such. was ok for us but something to consider. Small and attached to neighbours, clean and tidy but basic. Bathroom/laundry are was quite cold.

Loved the location, view of the snow capped mountains. The fireplace was very nice and kept the place lovely and warm. We all really enjoyed our stay and a great base for a family.

Fab little cottage with a comfortable, picturesque walk to the heart of town. Hosts are delightful and very communicative. Enjoyed the week thoroughly.

Overall our stay was very nice. The fire was extremely efficient and made the unit very cosy.
We felt the unit wasn’t as clean as it could be. Also, we would like to suggest towel racks in each of the bedrooms as there was nowhere to leave the towels to dry after showers.

I loved the location, proximity to the water, layout of the home, quality of fixtures and fittings. The stairway /ladder to the mezzanine is super steep; just one tip for older people like me - if you turn a bit sideways going up and down the stairs, it is easier.
Thank you for having such a well equipped kitchen! It inspired good cooking. Thank you also for the flexibility of letting us stay an extra night at a discounted rate!! This was much appreciated. I am recommending this place to friends, and I will be back.

Lovely house, plenty of space and some simple necessities provided, location 10min walk from lakeside, 3min drive to shops and town centre.
Will definitely recommend or stay again.

Ease of communication with host , easy no hassle entry and exit of property . The hosts have really thought about creating a home away from home our stay was fabulous ! Would definitely rebook when we visit again 🙂

heating in the main lounge room - fire was great but took a while to warm up the large space, at 0700 in the monring!

We loved the cottage. Private, cosy, warm - felt very homely. Plenty of room for two couples and two teenagers.
Everything we needed was there. Some places have the bare essentials, but this cottage wasn't short of anything!

Great location, quiet, clean, very comfortable, a sunny outside table & BBQ. Off road parking. Communication was quick & very friendly, a great stay.
