I've stayed at this property a few times and always enjoy it. There's a little outdoors deck and the space feels private and relaxing. It's a short walk from more happening neighborhoods so you can easily go get some food or drinks and come back to get away from all that. Owner is pleasant and accommodating as well.

Just completed our third stay at Olive's Gate studio, our preferred lodging while visiting San Francisco. Well located in a clean and quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of many restaurants and other conveniences, this studio has everything you need.

This was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay during our trip to Noe Valley. It was comfortable and convenient and we have the chance to stay there again.

There for a visit to UCSF snd there could not have been a better sanctuary. Studio in the heart of a SFneighborhood, as advertised! Would def stay again. Do check out Happy bakery a block away!

Peaceful places with good access to food and transportation can be difficult to find in SF but this place nails it. Comfortable apartment with a great shower and a lovely little outdoors space.

Olive's Gate was perfect for my wife & I. Not only is the cute Noe Valley neighborhood nearby, but the J line downtown is just a block away. There is also the 48 bus which will take you straight out to the beach. And if you don't feel like making breakfast, Chloe's Cafe down the street has terrific food & coffee. The rental itself was comfortable and clean, and (as others have mentioned) the shower is amazing. Great water pressure, no wait for hot water. Perfect after a long day of walking. We didn't get much of a chance to sit outside in the back garden, but it is a great private outdoor area in which to relax and smell the flowers.

My Daughter and I stayed here to receive medical treatments nearby. We were pleased with the location and how easy the checkin process was. I noticed that even though it is on the first floor the upstairs noise was very minimal. Very well stocked kitchen, and a really cute private gated front garden. We will be back, Thanks Chez!

The studio is in a very beautifully kept home and surrounding neighborhood. It was easy to find, clean, and was in a great location between Noe Valley, the Mission, and Dolores Park. I highly recommend staying here. The MUNI stop was nearby, making the rest of SF accessible for the entirety of your stay here. Even better was Chez's hospitality. I had an issue with losing my phone and Chez was available to help me out.

Chex’s property was clean, cozy and met all of my needs for a weekend in the city. Conveniently located by the muni, plenty of restaurants and lovely walks, it was a great place to have as a home base. Would stay here again.

Wonderful private space in an excellent location.

My friend and I stayed while we were in town for Outside Lands and we really enjoyed our stay! The location is great- a two walk from the closest Muni station- and walking distance to various shops and stores. The apartment itself was very nice and comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we could/would need during our stay. I really enjoyed it!

We live about 3 hours away from San Francisco and I was having surgery at UCSF so I needed somewhere to stay for a few days after surgery to heal a little before the drive home. I told the host this was the reason we were booking when I made the reservation. Upon arrival we realized this property would not work for what we needed it for. The apartment is located on a street with a 22% grade (I got dizzy walking down the sidewalk it was so steep), there is only street parking (it is very limited, most likely not going to get a spot right by the apartment, which would mean walking up or down the very steep hill right after surgery) and during the day you cannot park in one spot for more than 2 hours. I feel like these are things that could have been mentioned by the host. A couple other minor things, the TV is very small and not a SmartTV that we could see and there is no freezer for ice. We spent the night before my surgery and checked out the next morning. I messaged the host to let him know we were checking out early and the reasons why. I did not get any reply.

Just the best place to stay in SF. The location of great with plenty of places to grab coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a drink within walking distance. Host is extremely accommodating and stays in contact if needed. The space is the perfect size and the shower is amazing. Will look to stay here when we come visit again.

Had a great weeklong stay in this lovely location. It was very comfortable including the bed and has all the amenities of home. The bathroom is modern and large and the fantastic shower was hot with strong water pressure. The location was the best and right on the train line so on one train we could go anywhere in the city including out to Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park or even to the ferry to go to Marin. And the charming local neighborhood was full of coffee shops and great restaurants just a few minutes walk down the block. Loved this place and would stay here again. Thanks Chez-!

Besides a little misunderstanding at check in, we were very happy with this rental. Easy to access all of SF. All the amenities were good quality. quiet neighbourhood with access to food and transportation. Loved it. We would go back.

Chez's apartment is perfect for a couple visiting SF. The space is thoughtfully appointed and has all the things we wanted to feel at home. A few highlights - a proper kitchen with quality tools, incredible water pressure in the shower, and a truly beautiful garden.

This studio flat was perfect for our stay in San Francisco, with all the amenities available, and the public transport at the doorstep. A very comfortable, welcoming place for a home base, right in Noe Valley, within easy walking distance of the local shops and restaurants, plus the J line right outside. We could not have asked for a better place, with a private garden, clean and tidy, a well-supplied kitchen, and a bright and clean bathroom. Communication with the host was fantastic, prompt responses whenever we had questions, and polite, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

This wonderful studio had everything we could have asked for, including a location only a minor incline of 1 block to 24th Street, the main drag of Noe Valley. The host, Chez, has thought of everything to make your stay wonderful - comfy bed, fantastic shower and fully-equipped kitchen. We look forward to our next visit. Steve

This is a very nice place. Decent-sized we’ll-appointed kitchen, great shower, private deck and garden. No noise issues. Served us well for a two-week stay.

We loved our stay here, location is right in the heart of Noe Valley. Accommodations were really nice, and Chez is a great host. I would definitely stay here again.

Great experience. All fit and finishes of home. The owner even supplies totes umbrellas and emergency flashlight and radio. ( just in case) The owner overlooked nothing as far as we were concerned. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us Chez. Steve and Nancy

This unit was absolutely perfect for our needs. Great little neighborhood with a variety of good restaurants; a true small neighborhood feeling. We were a bit concerned that due to location there may be noise issues, but wasn't a problem at all. Communication with the owner is quick and thorough. The bed was comfortable and the shower? As mentioned in other reviews, truly a good experience. The kitchen is outfitted thoughtfully, though we mostly ate out, as there are great options nearby. We would definitely stay here again, if the need to be in Noe Valley comes up again.
