We absolutely loved the house. We felt right at home and that was so important. The house was immaculate. Clean. Nothing out of place. Had everything we could have needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and utensils, etc. Nothing negative to say about this home. There were games to play in the backyard and we did. However if you like being outside like we do. Grab some off spray. I was bitten over 20x by mosquitoes. But again that was just me. Bc my husband got bitten ZERO lol. And the communication with Karen was impeccable. She was very quick to answer any questions and concerns we had. If you’re looking for a rental, choose this one. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.

Nice place, clean and recently painted, stocked kitchen, had room to stretch out, glad we rented a home over hotel room. We love the Bahn, but accommodations in the original Resort cabins are old and worn, preferred this spot!!! Would do again

This house is in a great location, close to schlitterbahn and the chutes. House has everything you need in the kitchen, everything. And some extras in the bathroom. Owner was very responsive when contacted and truly wished to make her guests feel welcomed and at home while on vacation. Will definitely use again next trip to the river!

Beautiful house, great location
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It had been renovated with updated appliances and was stocked with most everything we needed. There was a very big backyard and included cornhole which we enjoyed. The grill was ready to fire up and put to good use. Having only 1 bathroom never ended up being a problem, but did require some forethought before use. Having an outdoor shower was nice for rinsing off or if someone was using the indoor shower. We very much enjoyed our time at this home, but there was one thing that did take away from it a little. At one point as we were bringing things into the house with full hands the front door had been left open and the owner came into the home without notice and told everyone to keep it closed. I would have appreciated a phone call or message before walking into our private quarters. We did see her a few times after that around the property and almost felt like we were being monitored, so there was a bit of paranoia after that. However, in general the property was wonderful.

Perfection
This is the 2nd time I have rented this cute house! It's perfect !The best part is the cozy backyard after a long day on the river . I would definitely recommend this house and I will most definitely rent it again 😁

Cute house close to river
We really enjoyed our stay here. Karen (owner) was very good to work with. The house is well maintained and worked well for our group (included 4 teens). They really enjoyed the back yard. The fire pit was a huge plus because they were able to make s'mores every night. Outside games were provided of corn hole & horseshoes for you to play. I loved that Karen told us upfront what type of coffee makers were there (Keurig & regular) so we were able to bring the right coffee without having to run to the store the first morning. Overall nice property. We will come back!

Great Stay!
My mother, sister and I stayed at this home for a girl's weekend. The home is beautiful and is close to everything. We loved the deck in the backyard. Very relaxing. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need and has a great island in the kitchen. We had some delicious meals at McAdoo's and The Gristmill during our stay. The highlight of the stay was seeing deer in the front of the house near dusk. We never get to see that in Houston. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting New Braunfels/Gruene area.

BEAUTIFUL & COZY
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home . We enjoyed our weekend here , so close to the river . Perfect for the three couples who came along with us. This beautiful home has everything you need . The backyard was our absolute favorite , we hung out most of our time out here cooking and enjoying some cold ones ... Would definitely recommend this house to everyone . We would love to come back . The owner of the house was very helpful and super sweet . Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your home .

Amazing Home with Room for 6!
This clean, charming home was the perfect location for our group of three couples to stay while floating the Comal river and checking out surrounding areas. It is a short walk or drive to most places in town. We loved the huge kitchen island to gather around, the two-tiered deck to relax on, and the outdoor shower! There is also a foyer room which was a perfect staging area to load and unload cars. We wanted for nothing. The owner was amazing! We loved this place!

Wonderful Family Weekend!
The home was incredibly cozy and clean. It was walking distance to the river, and had a wonderful backyard for everyone to relax in after floating the river. My husband, baby and I stayed in Karen's home in order to join a group of friends to float the river. The home is close enough to walk to the river in the morning, come back for lunch and go float the river again in the afternoon-which was perfect for us since we were taking turns watching the baby. This is our second time to stay at this gorgeous home, and cannot wait until next years river trip so that we can rent it again. It was a much-needed, first family getaway!

The house is immaculate and extremely comfortable. It has everything in the kitchen you could possibly need. Perfect central location. The fenced in backyard and deck are great.

Great little house
Nice home, very clean and great central location in New Braunfels. Perfect for visiting Schlitterbahn and the river. The back yard is large and it has a nice patio. The fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows and making smores with the kids. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home
Beautiful home with cottage feel in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we could possibly need was available to us. Very close to Schlitterbahn (walking distance), so kiddos were in heaven. Owner wanted to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. Easy check-in/out...no over the top cleaning requests. Returned our deposit the same day. Can't say a negative thing about our experience. We definitely highly recommend and will be back!

Great place, GREAT LOCATION!!!
The wife and I stayed two nights and our only regret is we went alone! The house was so nice and in such a great location we felt guilty having it all to ourselves. Although your minutes from local attractions the wife and I just enjoyed the back porch our second day and relaxed.

Absolutely Perfect
My family and I stayed there over the 4th weekend and everything was perfect. The kitchen has everything you could ever need, the house is spotless, games for the kids, outside deck has everything you could want and more. Its within walking distance to Schlitterbahn, the tube chute, Pat's, etc... Great place, great stay, and could not have asked for more. If you are looking for a great place this is the one. We have already recomended it to some of our friends. Also, the outdoor shower was nice after getting back from the river.

Another Great Year
This was our second year staying at this house and it is amazing! Outdoor shower is always great and so close to all the tube rentals and tube entrance. It is a 0.9 mile run/walk to bakery and coffee shops and even less than that to the tube rentals. Gruene is all about 4-5 mins max from the house! PERFECT location and homeowner is amazing to rent from! Couldn't ask for a better place!!

The house was really closely located to schlitterbahn and the comal. It was very clean and had everything we could need available. We enjoyed the stay and Karen was very easy to get in contact with. Thanks so much!
