Went to a Phoenix in orange beach 9 years ago and it was a perfect experience, this time was ok but not as good. The lazy river and pools were only seen being cleaned out once, constant layer of debris . A couple of times making it too much to ignore and just leaving. The moths were so weird. Never in my million beach trips have moths covered my towels I’ve got drying on my balcony chairs. Literally covered. Our room was great except some dishes were still dirty, the remotes wouldn’t work. I’m not sure if we just didn’t know how to use them or if batteries were dead. We stayed in a 14 person room with 14 people. It was way too crowded for us. Would have been a great unit for 10-12 people.

We loved the condo and will be back! It felt just like home away from home only with a Beach View. The only thing I would change about the whole place is the rug in the hall had a ton of dust coming from it. My 4 year old has bad allergies and stayed sick while we were there the whole time on vacation (we had to go to the dr while we were there). I really didn’t want to put that bad review on here but I just wanted to let y’all know for the future because we really did love the condo.

This was a family of 11 vacation. We all enjoyed the condo, beach and lazy River. It was so nice to have everything you need there on site. The small children loved the splash pad and pool and the older ones lived the beach and lazy River. It was also very handy to have a food court and gift shop on site. Our condo room 3104 was super and had the best views. No complaints from any of my group.

Beautiful, clean, fun resort! Big nice indoor pool for rainy days. Large balcony. Fast elevators. Family oriented. Something for everyone all ages.Multiple grocery stores close by along with restaurants, and family fun.

We visit Orange Beach every year and stay at the Phoenix West II! This was our 1st time in this unit. The condo was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids. We would definitely stay again just a few minor things that could have been supplied and /or updated but overall a great experience!

This was our second time staying in this building but the first time in this room. The lazy river and the slide are perfect for kids! They could’ve stayed there all day.
The room itself was wonderful! Having a table on the balcony was like having an extra room and the kids loved getting to eat outside.
The room was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed in terms of the amenities. If we decide to visit Orange Beach again, we’ll definitely be checking the availability of this unit first.

Overall the condo was great, plenty of room for 13 of us. Only minor thing was the master bedroom does not have a couch as shown in the pictures, which is where we had planned for our daughter to sleep, she ended up staying with her cousin in one of the bunk beds and it was fine, but wanted to let everyone know just in case they have the same plan. All the reviews about the elevators are true as well, on Saturdays and Sundays at check in and check out the wait can be overwhelming, several of our group took the stairs down a couple of times while others waited over an hour to get an elevator, but for the majority of our stay during the week it was much more reasonable.

We had a fabulous time. The only challenges we experienced were the elevators being extremely slow when everyone was moving in. Other than waiting for elevators during a busy time it was a really nice place to stay.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. We had 6 adults and 5 kids-5 and under. Being on the 31st floor was a beautiful view but we would have felt better if there had been child locks at the top of the doors for balcony and the main entrance. Overall, I would definitely go back.

We have been at the Phoenix West and Phoenix West II multiple times. This unit did not disappoint. It was clean, spacious, and check in and checkout were a breeze. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

We’ve been coming to Alabama for several years and this was our first time staying here. I can say, it’s definitely now our favorite! There were ten of us and we had plenty of room! They view from the 31st floor was beautiful. We seen several sharks! We loved the convenient location, the overall luxury of this place, and the pools! Our kids especially loved the slide. Great place! Highly recommend!

Large family vacation
It was a wonderful property with amazing views. 14 including 2 child slept comfortably. The balcony was very safe. Perfect trip. It’s very spacious and tastefully decorated. Felt like we were in luxury. Only one bad thing was the elevator and being on 31st floor.

Family vacation
This place was beautiful, the views were breath taking! Our smallest children couldn’t open the patio door which was the only worry we had going in to being on the 31st floor! Very family oriented and made our vacation phenomenal!

Elevators were awful
The dysfunction of the elevators were enough that we would not consider returning to the condo. During peak use the property management company needs to designate three elevators to the upper floors and three to the lower. Waiting 45 minutes with groceries to get from the 5 floor to the 31 floor is unacceptable. We sent some groceries up the stairs with our younger more fits children but that option was possible for all of us. The facility was very nice but coming and going to the condo was much dreaded and influenced our decision to leave the condo.
There were also banging pipes between the bedrooms. At 5am it was an unwelcome sound.
Pots and pans were limited. And not the greatest of quality. We made the best of it but was a noticeable shortfall.
Beds were comfortable and the condo seemed clean and well maintained.

We stay here every year at the same unit... 3104 and love everything about the unit! Only thing that I wish it had was a Keurig!! We usually bring ours but forgot it this year and I hate dealing with a regular coffee maker. So yes definitely needs a Keurig or equivalent pod Brewer

The condo was better than expected. The views were amazing. There was so much room for our whole group and were in awe of how tall the ceilings were. There are several elevators available to cut down on any wait time. The outdoor pools were a bit chilly so we mainly used the indoor one. The full kitchen was perfect for our family meals when we were not checking out the local restaurants. The condo is right on the beach. Conveniently located by a lot of main attractions and restaurants. Our whole group was blown away by this condo and are already planning our next trip.

Golf Trip

Very nice property. Only a few minor complaints. Kitchen faucet needed replacing, no potholders, could use better pots/pans/bakeware. Sliding door is difficult to slide.

Relaxing Family Vacation
The condo I rented was beyond anything I could have expected! The pictures of the unit absolutely do not compre to actually being there! Spacious, modern, cozy and the view was AMAZING! Beach access was easy and the whole property is great! The only complaint I have is that the indoor pool had so much chlorine we were coughing and choking and could barely breathe. One of my family members had on turquoise trunks and when he left they were white. And the only reason we used the indoor pool is because Ida was hitting and they closed the beach and outdoor pools. The only reason I gave an average rating on location/neighborhood is that I found there wasn’t a lot of businesses/restaurants/attractions/bars as I would have expected but it was ok because that saved me a bunch of money relaxing in the condo
