Ristrutturato di recente e completamente arredato, questa storica casa di adobe risale ai primi anni 1920 e offre tutti i comfort per godersi il soleggiato New Mexico in una casa lontano da casa - a soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla storica Mesilla Plaza. A pochi minuti dalla New Mexico State University e dall'accesso all'autostrada.

Stayed for Easter and had an egg hunt in the courtyard. Easy walk to the double eagle resturant from this location. Host was very accomidating.

We enjoyed our stay Hacienda Shay. It was within walking range of fun places to shop and great food. We would love to come back again.

I absolutely loved this house. It was in the perfect spot for us to be able to go everywhere we needed to be. The house was larger than expected. Easy check in and out, and very clean! I will definitely be looking into renting this house the next time I go to Old Mesilla.

Beautiful, clean property right in historic Mesilla. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The property is shady, quiet, and has all the amenities we wanted. Easy checkin and great communication with the owner. This will be our first choice next time we're in town. Thank you!

Overall the property was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order. The kitchen and bathroom were updated and very nice looking and there were plenty of fresh towels, plus laundry machines, dishwasher, etc.
The bathroom was colder than the rest of the house but fortunately we found a space heater in the main bedroom closet.
My main complaint was that the main bedroom had a large, long crack in the wall from ceiling to floor and continuing across the floor tiles that gave the impression that half the room was sinking away from the rest of the house. In fact the entire room sloped away from the door toward the far corner of the room to the point where the bed itself would roll in that direction over the course of the day (it was on wheels) and would need to be pushed back into position before bedtime. My husband assured me that the crack was not evidence of a sinkhole forming beneath the room, otherwise I would have had trouble sleeping.
So if that sort of thing is a deal-breaker for you I would not recommend this property. Otherwise the stay was quite pleasant.

We always wanted to spend some time in Mesilla and finally made it. Carla's property was perfect for our stay. We loved the location - could walk to anywhere in town and it was easy to drive into Las Cruces or out to hike from there.
The unit had everything we needed, it was very clean, quiet & comfortable. I have back issues so the bed was comfortable but a little soft for me - manageable for a few days.
We will definitely stay here or in Carla's Studio next time we head to the Las Cruces/ Mesilla area.

I will know next time to ask about the firmness of the bed. The beds were not firm at all, which is something my husband requires. I will know to ask next time. Very disappointed that Direct TV was not working. I feel we should receive a small refund for this. Everything else was very comfortable.

I had a lovely time staying in this house. It was really well located for walking and enjoying the little historic district. It's also quirky, which I found charming - the floors in the bedroom slope (which means the bed does), as does the ceiling. The tub is nice and there's plenty of space. I DO wish there had been coffee for the coffee maker - there were filters but no coffee, so I had to go out for that - and I wish that there had been a first aid kit because I could have really used a band-aid when I tore off my thumbnail trying to get into the lockbox to get the keys. I didn't prefer not getting entry instructions until I was standing at the gate (wondering if they would even come), and I didn't prefer having to check emails to get entry information, but Carla switched to texting and that was great. I'll definitely be back!

This is the cutest little property in Mesilla. It is clean, quiet and the beds are comfy (though I do suggest bringing your own pillow). It is close to everything in Mesilla and easy to get to. It was perfect for myself and 2 friends, plenty of room for us and all of our stuff. The living room is big enough for a queen size air mattress though I believe the couch is a pullout. I would 100% stay here again.

Great location for walking to downtown Mesilla. Great authentic/historic look. Wife enjoyed sitting on front porch in the morning watching the humming birds and drinking coffee.

Beautiful and well maintained. With two bedrooms and a large kitchen it is spacious and comfortable. We also liked the enclosed courtyard.

Great home in charming Old Mesilla
The home is very comfortable and inviting.
Great location with an easy, flat walk of about 6-8 blocks to the charming and interesting Mesilla Plaza with shops and restaurants. This is definitely the part of town to stay in for great ambiance, food, and low-key shopping.
Safe, quiet area. The home has easy private parking.
The owner was very helpful and good at communicating.

Charming old world environment with modern appliances!
Everything about this hacienda is lovely. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. Marvelous kitchen - new appliances, nice dishes, fully equipped.
The only negative is the floor between the dining room and laundry/bathroom area. This is the only area without tile. The wood flooring in this area dips with each step for about a two foot area. A challenge for older folks with balance problems. Strongly suggest it be fixed. Otherwise charming!
