no heater, old ameneties, no available hotel staff 24/7

No wifi, no amenities in the bathroom i.e. soap, the a/c is noisy couldn't sleep well

We liked the close proximity to the beach and other points of interest. The massage professionals on the third floor were very good.

The pictures of the property on the website did not match reality. The building did not look like the pictures on the website. There were no toiletries in any of our rooms. (I booked two other rooms through the hotel website. Then when I needed another room, I got no response and had to book through booking.com). There was rotten food in the refrigerator in one of the rooms and the sliding glass door couldn't be locked. This made my question the standard of cleanliness overall. In the other room, the toilet could not be flushed, so I had to lift the top cover to flush the toilet. Thankfully, the staff member moved us to new rooms on the third floor that looked cleaner. There are stairs right before you enter the third floor that curve. My mom almost fell twice in that area. The dim lighting and the stairs not having a trim to help the eye tell each step a part makes going up those stairs unsafe. I also didn't like that there was usually no one manning the desk. They seemed to be walking from another property. This is very inconvenient if you have a simple request and you have to look for someone to talk to.

NOTHING, we were disappointed from the deceiving post to staff to facility they all failed. 1. I booked this for a friend and I personally recommended this Taj hotel from others because it was indicated in their facilities that "transport" (airport-jetty port-hotel) is included. But after my card process, I tried to called them and check and I was told that they do not offer the transport. 2. When my friend arrived at the hotel, they didnt get an early check-in, we arrived there around 12:30nn, they were not offered anything when they arrive, they were also told that they don't see any booking schedule for my friend. I was so pissed that my friend keep on bugging me with the messed. I was already checkin at 12:30pm and my friend was still out waiting until 2pm to get in. Horrible service 3. When they check-in, the door knob was broken, the aircon is not working, and the place smells. My friend fell as sleep and when we woke up around 3pm they message me informing me that they were all sweating because the aircon is broken. 4. My friend told me, there was a black out at around 2:30am, since i did not check in here and was comfortably sleeping at Red Coconut, my friend texted me that Taj, doesnt have a generator so, they need to wait until the lights on so they can sleep because it was too hot.

We stayed at their place unfortunately the room was not good at all no ventilation, the bathroom releases foul smell and their bed sheets was not clean enough. We need to move out because my cousin was having a hard time breathing already.

1. Change the room for better ambiance and space 2. Refund the money when we step out of the hotel which we tried to settle but they did not allow it.

The staff are very accommodating. Very near to the beach and to the restaurants. My parents had fun staying here. They let us stay in the family room and on the 1st floor since my mum, can't walk properly.

PROS: - near beach front; - fresh, clean & comfy bed, pillow & towels - deluxe room is spacious for 2 pax - aircon is functioning well - there’s a refrigerator - front desk staff is polite & accommodating - near shops & restos - strong wifi signal - hotel staff are nice

CONS - no elevator - hotel staff are sometimes noisy, i could hear their loud voices especially at night (my room is near their quarter) - no bottled water - no toothbrush & toothpaste - cabinet & refrigerator have unpleasant odor - shower heater is not functioning well, either too hot or too cold, no lukewarm temp -no regular house keeping
