Bed was comfortable.

Noisy location on main road. Kitchenette dated. Freezer component of fridge broken and inoperable. Nonchalant attitude of host - much improvement needed.

Just like a year ago, we did plan to book a room for one night here this year, too. Because the whole house gives pretty good, romantic vibes, plus its location is just meters away from the fjord, therefore the view is fantastic. The garden is a big extra.

The only tricky part is which level to choose. On the ground, privacy is less - fellow guests with their rooms are close to each other, but upstairs it cannot be a problem plus you get a better view there as well.

Location was good. Loved the table tennis table and the bikes although the weather was so awful we couldn't use either!!

The kitchenette wasn't really usable. Two stove rings just isn't enough. At the very least it needs a microwave. Our fridge door also didn't shut properly so my husband was kept awake by the constant noise of the fridge cooler kicking in (our room was missing the door between the bedroom and the kitchen!).

Fantastic location. Beds incredibly comfortable. Great views!

Beautiful view in prime location and very nice staff. Lovely outdoor area with a few bits for children to play on.

We had the upper apartment which had a very nasty smell, possibly coming from drains. Quite expensive compared with other places we stayed in Norway.

Nice location and great view. Good value and solid night's sleep. Self check in was very easy.

Very slight issue was that the curtain didn't cover the whole door which had glass panes so light came in underneath which was a bit annoying.

The location is great. Walking distance from the supermarket and restaurants, near a charging station for electric vehicles. But most importantly, right on the fjord. Great beds, too.

Kitchen was a bit dated, bit functional.

It was a beautiful position And the flat was clean and tidy, but we had mountain view..without the multistoried cruiseshop to look at!! Washing machine was a great help.

We missed a microwave, but it was not serious. And all the cupboards were needed. ie where on earth would I put it if it were mine.

Excellent location. A great apartment to stay in. Hosts very friendly. Enjoyed staying there.

We had the DOUBLE ROOM AND MOUTNAIN VIEW. location was great super central and walking distance to everything. if you manage to get a room with the fjord view it is amazing and wonderful. The bathroom was very modern and looked recently refurbished and was our favourite part of the apartment. bed was very nice and comfortable. cute decoration throughout the communal areas and it had a lovey cosy feel. kitchen had most stuff you would need. nice big tv. price was reasonable. easy parking. lovely warm shower and heated floor in bathroom (once it heated up). clean towels. this the town itself is very cute and great for exploring the area!

check in was a little bothersome as took a while to get through to the host via phone call. but the host was lovely once answered and our room was ready and we just needed to walk in. the apartment was rather outdated (apart from the bathroom which was new) but this is for my personal taste, however I did feel that the photos were not as accurate on the room we saw in person as it did feel more outdated. the heating was not turned on prior to our arrival so it took AGESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS to heat up and we were super cold until it kicked in (other places we stayed had the room already heated for us). some of the communal areas (corridor etc) on the way to the room were a little messy. the fridge appeared not to work at first, however we dug around a little and realized the back main switch was turned off. was a bit inconvenient to stick our hands around the back of the counters (and they were not that clean behind there) and it would have been much easier if the fridge would have already been turned on for us as other apartments do. so overall had some minor stuff which we were not super fond of, but still a nice comfortable stay.

The location is fabulous. Everywhere you see, you would be overwhelmed with natural beauty. The hosts are nice and accommodating. Response time was great. The rooms are comfortable and nice and big. There's two supermarkets nearby. A very nice fish restaurant and a Thai take away place(open till 7PM) just beside in case you do not wish to cook. There is a furnished kitchen as well for basic food preps.

Nothing to dislike with the room and the view. Only part was the room carried many sounds.

Very nice place set in an AMAZING town with AMAZING views and wonderful nearby nature sites. The town is so quiet and peaceful . Nearby we enjoyed taking scenic hikes up into the mountains and went to see the not-to-be-missed(!!!!) waterfall. We used the kitchen multiple times and were satisfied, plus we enjoyed eating outside amongst incredible nature. The room was small but very pleasant and the shower is worth the price of admission itself. Highly recommended.

The road outside is annoyingly well-traveled by trucks and buses, but if you expect it, it wont be that bad for you. Also, the room took a log time to heat up. Make sure you're aware the stores close early and plan accordingly.

Good spacious apartment, great kitchen, central location. Clean and cozy bed great shower and personal kitchen.

the TV set didn’t work, was not responsive to remote. But if you have phone or tablet you have good Wi-Fi to compensate

It was simply shocking! everything started when we get delay on the way to the hotel due to weather. I wrote to the hotel, that we will be late for check in because of the bad weather on our way, be drove from Oslo. When finally we arrived at 19:30,nobody met us in reception, nobody was in the hotel, we didn’t know what to do, also no response on booking from the hotel. We went upstairs and met Ukrainian lady that’s lives there, she tried to help us, called to owners of the hotel, wrote them, nobody answered. We didn’t know what to do, then she told us that will help us to check rooms, so all roomed we’re not clean and only one was ready , like in description that we ordered at booking. So she told us if you already paid simply enter now, and in the morning we will meet the owner. Unfortunately I was with my grandfather, he was sick, so we couldn’t stay outside on the storm and rain. in the morning I get massage from the hotel that we did disrespect to other how lives in the hotel and entered in wrong room, and we should go away as soon as possible. That’s was shocking! We ordered the room for two nights, when arrived nobody was in reception, nobody answer on the phone or messages. And also they don’t want to refund us for the second night, although told that will do. simple shocking, ruined us whole journey!

The Appartment was clean and the bathroom was completely renovated. We could use Bikes for free and the location was great.

The appartment was cold and the radiator did not work. Check in was only possible via telephone. One Lampe and the remote control of the TV did not work.

The building was easy to find - right on the bank of the fjord, next to the highway. The owner was easy to reach. The two-room apartment was well well-equipped, way big enough, and had its own balcony. We could have stayed longer if it was not about a road trip in Norway. For sure, we would like to get back once in the future. The little town of Eidfjord is also a charming one within walking distance of the building.

The bed was a bit too soft.

They very kindly made sure we could still access our room as we were running late and I forgot the hours! Absolutely stunning views and the price was good. Spacious + lots of cooking utensils. Would definitely recommend. Great location too for adventuring out! Staff lovely. Good wifi and good parking.

The only thing I will say is that the number left wouldn't connect with my uk sim - thankfully my friend had a Europe sim that connected through.

Even if it wasn't the room i booked, the accomodation was good, the kitchen was pretty equipped and the wifi was good. Sadly the tv controller hasn't battery in it and I had some issues to turn on the tv.

I booked a room with fjord view but I stayed in a room with the mountain view, as i called the host she told me that she had an issues with the reservation and she couldn't give us any upgrade because all the room with fjord view were already booked. She told me the she would give me a little compensation but she disappeared without giving me nothing. And in the morning i checked all the rooms with fjord view and they were all empty.
