Nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is absolutely charming. We especially liked the upstairs chill area for seeing the sunset. The rooms are in good shape and super clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I would gladly come back for more time.

The main thing for us (50+ couple) is that the room is a decent size (enough to have 2 cases open on the floor) nicely decorated, clean, and that we feel safe and comfortable. All boxes ticked. Quiet Location. Nice surroundings. Great communal area for relaxing. Short walk from the beach. Space on the road next to the hotel for parking. Staff were great and really helpful.

Minor points.... The rooms don't have fridges so we borrowed a cool box from the hotel staff (thank you) and bought ice daily to keep drinks cold. Would be great if there was a communal fridge. Same for hot water for making coffees, but you can get round this by taking a travel kettle if you don't want to use the various cafes that are close by.

I had a lovely stay here! Pati and all staff were so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and to some great restaurants. The room was spacious and it was very clean. While I was there, I enjoyed working from the common area, where there was tea, coffee, and some cookies available :) .

Everything was wonderful! The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the restaurant portion is not in service until further notice.

Very beautiful hotel! The room was spacious and very clean, had everything we needed and we were even provided with beach towels. The whole atmosphere is very chill and down to earth, really resembles the vibe in El cuyo. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had wonderful time!

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during my stay.

There was no air conditioner. Even though I'm not a fan of air conditioners, they may be helpful during warmer months. My room was next to the restaurant. If it were open, the traffic going in and out would have been disturbing. So try to get a room a little further away.

Beautiful rooms. Very relaxed. Easy to get to the beach.

Our stay at El Cuyo felt like staying in paradise. very nice location, 2 blocks from the beach, 4 from the center. A sleepy village and hidden gem! The hotel was set up to chill with soft sand everywhere, games in the common outside area, hammocks. Our kids very much enjoyed themselves and so did we.

The restaurant was surrounded by mosquito nets but didn’t quite work. Bring repellent and/or a mosquito net!

The Quadruple room was very clean and spacious. The staff were attentive and happy to help with any questions we had. There were nice hammocks and communal areas for relaxing and it is located only a short walk from the beach. I also lost my Sunglasses at one point and thought they were gone as I headed off for the bus. Bus as we waited for the bus one of the staff members appeared on a scooter with my glasses having found them cleabing and returned them to me. Very grateful for their excellent service.

This little hotel had a great restaurant with affordable, delicious food. It was easy to walk to town to get food or go to the pier and beach. There was a water refilling station which made hydration easy. The staff, especially at reception and in the kitchen, was really helpful and friendly. Shower worked great with plenty of hot water. Parking on site was convenient.

The room was quite small for the price, and was quite hot even through the night. If you are sensitive to heat, this might not be the place for you. Beds and linens were just ok. It's family friendly, so kids were making noise since early in the morning.

Delicious food in the restaurant which was charming with good vegetarian options and salads. The main Street of the town is dusty and this place, being a couple of blocks away, was clean and quiet.

I loved the fact that as soon as we arrived we felt at home. This place has a very nice laid-back and welcoming vibe. A restaurant serving really nice food and plenty of shady common spaces to chill out at.

Hotel Casa Cuyo is a brand new place. Is was clean, lots of windows with screens, two ceiling fans, small but modern bathroom with shower, nice and cozy garden, a huge lounge area upstairs and a small restaurant with great breakfast. Great place to meet people

El Cuyo is a little gem, as Tulum probably was 15 years ago. The hotel is very chill and peaceful, just like El Cuyo itself. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. The hotel’s restaurant is also very good, i would suggest to have dinner and try their mediterranian-mexican fusion kitchen.

The beds are hard and so pretty unconfortable.
