Comfortable beds

Tables in the bar and breakfast rooms were left uncleaned.

Quiet rooms. Clean environment

Room key did not work initially. Light switch in room did not work. Housekeeping let herself into our room without knocking whilst we were still in the room. Food had run out in the restaurant so had to choose an alternative. No welcome when we arrived at breakfast. Only one member of staff around. He had poor customer service skills and made it seem like doing his job was majorly inconvenient for him. At 10 he started abruptly packing up the toaster to one customers upset. And then started arguing with him to say that breakfast finished at 10. Seemed a little unnecessary.

Had a great time. Stayed for a rock concert. Would happily book again. Great staff.

Only complaint would be the bar closing before midnight. My partner and I arrived back at 23:45 hoping to have a couple of drinks only to find the shutters had been put down. Would have expected the bar to have remained open for residents.

Clean, comfortable room at a good price. Very convenient position for rail station and city center. Also close to car parks. Friendly efficient check-in.

The Standard Room is quite small. Fine for a short stay for a couple, but for a longer stay it would be better to book a larger room.

Breakfast was quite good.

Needed some renovation. Rooms seem a bit dated. Bar menu for vegans still not good even after ownership change

the double bed is a bit small for larger couple , I did book 2 singles but my husband changed it not knowing I purposefully booked these for a good nights sleep , uh oh lol 😆 apart from this it was lovely . gorgeous little town with beautiful friendly people

nice bar and good location

room was very cold. it was really noisy trying to get to sleep as you could hear everyone talking in corridors, shutting doors and other general noise. the walls must be paper thin.

After a night out getting back to the hotel to find security on the front door checking guest returning to there rooms, hey but not in the reception! in the area before the main doors, it was freezing out side had to wait while he checked other guests we was absolutely freezing ....doubt he could read. Took nearly 5 mins for 3 people in front of us. Then our turn. Surely he could check guest at the lifts?

A very comfortable bed in a nice modern looking room, seemed recently updated. It was generally clean. Had a good new TV. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Good value for money overall!

Had some difficulties with check in but was quickly resolved by staff. Room could do with some paint touch ups as there was quite a few marks and stains on walls, and bathroom could do with an update at some point but it was good for the price paid.
