I've stay at the scenic a number of times, individually and with social groups and the staff are always incredible. They make all the difference and because of them I rank the scenic quite high as a place to stay when visiting Paihia. I had a great check in experience, the bar and wait-staff are so friendly and easy-going and they deliver quickly to you room. THEY HAVE ROOM SERVICE!!! I loved that. The room was clean and close to the pool and dining area. Lots of room to store bags and belonging. The garden flowers/hedge smelt amazing. Parking was easy to find. Did I mention the ROOM SERVICE and you can order drinks to be delivered lol. It's excellent!

The room is very dimly lit, even with the curtains open and all inside lights on. The tv screen is blurry and static-y and there are minimal channels to watch. Was kind of miffed that I couldn't order off the Ala Carte menu but they had a beautiful roasted lamb set menu though.

Garden seat out front was a beaut spot, as our room was compact.

Noisy feet on floor above. Ok except late night.

Family friendly and convenient. Lovely staff! And great house keepers.

Very noisy, at least 10 people partying all night. Complained to staff on checkout, and he said he had many complaints and he'll talk to them. Which doesn't do me any good🥱

Location was good. Room large.

Check in lady was definitely not welcoming, couldn’t muster up a smile. Made to feel like we were interrupting her day. Our friends checked in later had the same experience. A posse of children and very young teenagers were next door to us. No adult or parent in sight. We had to go and tell them off twice, last time was 11.30pm. Told the “check in” woman the next morning, barely interested.

Das Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen und war nicht gut gereinigt ( Kaugummi klebte auf dem Boden). Der Duschkopf ist sehr niedrig an der Wand befestigt, sodass normal große Menschen sich beim Duschen bücken müssen.
