Good stay in Suzhou

Location, comfort, room equipment, and utensil. Shopping mall and cafes proximity

Coffee in lobby 😀, windows do not opening, you can make a gap only.

It is nice location and worth the money. Perfect for long stay.

The location is great inside a shopping street opposite of a big mall. It was full apartment with extra kitchen and washing machine. Staff is very friendly, breakfast was good with nice choices.

It is little old and worn out. The apartment was little smelling and not able to open the windows to get fresh air.

Great location and spacious room

The service apartment is located in one of the most convenient neighborhood in Suzhou. Sitting in a shopping area with a huge shopping mall at your doorstep. Very close to Han Shan Temple too. However most taxi drivers couldn’t find it as the indication sign wasn’t clear enough. Considering the price we got, it’s still a super nice deal and comfortable stay!

Very good layout of the room. Hotel staff was helpful as well. Only issue is the shower area is a bit old fashioned. By using the shower curtain, the water easily got onto the floor and made it super slippery. Both my mum and I almost fall over in the bathroom… Hope the hotel could improve this bit. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay a lot in general.

Some stuff could speak English or Japanese. The location was very good.There was a huge shopping mall near the hotel.

We will not want the experience of a "Somerset " hotel again..

The Somerset Emerald City hotel is part of the Emerald City shopping mall. An old 10-15 years buiding There are lots of shop selling Chinese food (fast food type restaurants). Go behind the Hotel, turn left to leave the Emerald City shops toward the IFC Mall. There is one very good restaurant at affordable prices at the corner facing the main 6 lane highway. Fresh live fish is good there, at a reasonable price

The high floor hotel window overlooked a flat roof top below that was littered with building and discarded rubbish. The "studio room" is only for those poverty-stricken. It is enclosed almost by the building walls like a air-well condition. The on going renovations works in the hotel upper floors are irritating. The experience was so bad that this would be the first and last time we will go to a "Somerset " group hotels. The breakfast was poor . The place is tired. The price was exorbitant. So be warned
