Das Zimmer war grauenhaft. Man kommt sich vor als wär man in einem schlechten Pornofilm… die Hälfte des Raumes und der Boden mit altertümlichen Fliesen ausgekleidet. Ein Mini Kleiderschrank, dafür eine viel zu große Couch aus den 80er Jahren!

The staffs were very nice and helpful. On-site parking was convenient.

Condition of the room was less than we have expected.

Hotel is located on the outskirts of the city in an industrial section, it has a couple buildings on site. Room was large, however furniture outdated- outdoor and indoor furniture mix in the room. Outdoor private patio attached to the room was dirty and looked mainly as a storage of pilled up unused stuff by the hotel. Room smelled upon arrival even with door/ window opened.

Very convenient location to travel to the old city market place. We were welcomed with a smile and a good intro about Salzburg. Staff was very friendly and addressed all of our queries regarding site seeing. TIP - Buy a Salzburg Card(24/ 48/ 72 hours) from the hotel itself as the staff will explain you how and where to use it. Hotel has nicely drawn maps and guide books available at reception to ease your travel.

Room was clean, Location was good

There is no reception or any staff available after 8pm in the Hotel. The guest is left on their own if there is any emergency. There is a contact number provided but that too available only till 12 midnight I believe. We checked in the Hotel on 12-May-2023 at 9:30pm. The emergency issues we faced in the room next door. The single guest in room number 208 was locked himself up in the Bathroom with broken handle. The guest started banging the walls and bathroom doors midnight around 1am in the morning. Initially, I did not understand the issue with room number 208 as the person was speaking in non-English language. Me and another guest from room number 203, I believe, who had come out due to loud noise and who could speak the same language as the guest who got himself locked up. We tried calling many times the Hotel reception contact number but there was no hotel staff at all even on the phone. We then called Police and emergency services to get the guest out from room number 208. We spent about more than 2hrs in mid night until 2:30am. When we informed and confronted the Hotel staff reception the following next day, for our surprise the Hotel staff did not take any note whatsoever and did mention that they cant be available 24 x 7 for the guest and that’s the way this Hotel operates. I would strongly recommend who ever wants to visit, please find another hotel if safety of your family is important to you. I am sure there are lot of Hotels available. Unless, The Hotel Vogelweiderhof provides 24x7 reception staff availability to its guest, its not safe.

great price, very helpful host and staffs, generous breakfast (scrambled eggs, cold sliced ham etc), bus stop to city and train station very close by.

Everything! To start of,:- the hotel is veryyy close to the train station (not even 5 mins car drive). The bus stop is just infront of the hotel and it takes only 10 mins to go to Salzburg centre. Buses pass every 10 mins - sooo convenient. The hotel is very clean, spacious room, comfortable pillows. Last but not least, this hotel has the most helpful receptionists. They explain into details all the attractions, pubs, restaurants & give you excellent tips. Their warm welcome & happy smiles make the stay worthwhile. 10/10 !!! 👏

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful.

We came at a busy time and we were stuck in two different rooms in two different buildings. That wouldn't have been too bad except that we only had one key to each room and we needed to use that key to gain access to the different buildings. That was a bit awkward.

Stable wifi, a comfortable bed, no significant noise, good breakfast. The hotel is close to Salzburg train station (15 mins walking) and the bus stop is just near the hotel.

1. The maid didn't clean the room at all. She just changed towels and took the rubbish. No sweeping \ washing the floor. 2. The guy on the reception was not friendly on the day of arrival. 3. In the restaurant they do not have many family tables for 3 or more people. The restaurant is relatively small and it is crowded during breakfast time. 4. They do not add food (omelet, sausages, etc) quickly when there is a lot of people. The visitors have to wait for the warm food. 5. Not enough amount of light in the room in the evening time. There are frosted lamps in the rooms scattering light

Towels were not replaced even though it was explicitly put on floor as mentioned for replacement. breakfast was simple and monotonous for all days of stay. Internet Wi-Fi was really poor.

The location was very convinient. Bus stop for route 21 is at the door step which takes you to the city centre. Salzburg HBF is 15 minutes away from a walk. The room was very spacious and super clean. Room service cleans the room everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Basically you have everything in the room where you can stay comfortably for a week or even longer.

The shower drain got clogged and they tried to fix it when I informed them. unfortunately they could not fully fix it and we had to put up with a clogged shower drain for 2 days.
