The hotel has a great location, minutes walking from the sea. Clean indoor swimming pool and activities like ping pong table and billiard.

Cleaning standards could be higher. Also bathroom did not have an extractor / vent and as a result all its moisture and odours end up in the room. Breakfast options were very limited lacking even cheese. Breakfast could be richer.

This hotel is very quiet at nights inside and out, great for sleeping in late. Lovely hot water in the bathroom and the radiator was on all night, keeping the room cosy and warm.

The pillows were too hard. the sea view rooms are not what we were expected ! The seafront is not near unless you’re driving

We loved the location - a short walk to the beach - and the fact we got a room with a balcony and great view when we checked in! Friendly staff and great for families and pets. Comfie bed. Table tennis, table football + near the family bar area for the kids. Good breakfast and reasonably priced, decent lunch too.

If I was going to be fussy, the shower pressure (over the bath w curtain) but the great overall experience and good value for money meant we will be going back, irrespective.

Chance to use leisure facilities- swimming pool, sauna, squash courts and gym. Location right near beach and not far from town. Room size was good.

Hotel cancelled our stay and transferred us to cumberland hotel where they tried to charge us more for dog. Rooms were Uncomfortably hot during night and we couldn't turn it off.

The staff were very nice and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, they were cleaned every day, and towels were lovely and big .

It was a fair walk for us to get anywhere and very hilly , but fairly close to the beach for younger families, central for travelling by car

My room was excellent and the staff very accommodating. Breakfast excellent, plenty of it and a lot of variety. would recommend the hotel good value for money. The swimming pool is one of the best I have ever swam in.

room 108 was appalling. bed as hard as concrete, along with concrete pillows. but upgraded to room 126 with a balcony, nice soft bed and soft pillows. don’t understand the difference in quality between rooms.

The buffet breakfast wasn't hot. The door between the kitchen and Restaurant would bang, maybe an adjustment could be made to it.

room was dirty (my white socks turned brown from walking on the carpet). booked the room with 2 children (<1 and a 2 year old) - there were two rooms - one room had a double bed and in another compartment two single beds - not sure how is this suitable. the shower was very weak. breakfast had little choice for the price.
