Vegetarian options at breakfast eg veggie sausage could have been better .

Cleaning staff knocking at 9am to check if they could clean. Check out time was 11 and we weren’t impressed.

Good location but had trouble locating parking as we arrived from the motorway .Room was too hot as there is no AC and the duvets were winter weight .

The position was great for a function at New Craven Hall. Good signage, lit up at night to help find hotel. The breakfast was very good with an extensive choice suiting adults and children. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating not making an issue of the fact that we had a baby to stay in our room which had not been expected. Provided a cot and high chair with no problems. The ambience was classy and the bar area great for light lunch, a quick evening meal and drinks.

The bed mattress was solid and the pillows hard. When I asked for softer pillows I discovered that they were in a cupboard labelled spare towels, but even the softer ones were harder than I expected. As the main reason for staying was to get a good night's sleep this was an issue. The lighting in the room was poor for dressing up and makeup etc for a wedding.
