Gorgeous view, super friendly hosts, incredibly comfy bed, lovely breakfast, perfect location with conical hill right on the doorstep and a short stroll into town. Fabulous place to stay!

This truly was the best stay in our 2 week trip in the South Island. Our hosts Dave and Jill welcomed us into their beautiful property set high up in Hanmer with sweeping uninterrupted views. The property itself is immaculate, warm and the room clean and wonderfully presented. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and friendly experience.

Very warm and friendly hosts (Davo and Jill!). The room was well presented, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The view from the room and outside balcony was fantastic - Hanmer Springs in the Autumn! Beautiful outlook. A short walk downhill into the village and to enjoy the eateries or the springs. The included continental breakfast was just perfect for our needs.

Lovely rooms overlooking the town with balconies. The reception from the owner was exceptional and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable of a little on the small side.
Breakfast is served in the communal lounge and can be taken back to the room. It’s a little dull with just cereals and toast and could be improved with some pastries.

Had a wonderful stay, great vista overlooking Hamner Springs, Jill and Dave were very helpful and made our stay all the better.

We loved our stay here. We were welcomed so warmly into a spacious, clean, and beautiful room. We were made to feel “at home” right away. The location was spectacular! We wish we could have stayed longer!

We have never had such an easy choice to give 10/10!! Incredible customer service, great continental breakfast, beautiful room and out-of-this-world views! It was worth EVERY dollar, and we will definitely be back.

The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the view from the deck was incredible. The staff were warm, friendly and engaging.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at 8 on Oregon. The views are incredible, the space is so lovely and private. The hosts were lovely and helpful. Lots of extra touches, like towels for the pools, and all the amenities.

Amazing location up the hill with outstanding view over the town and towards the mountains.
Owners love their job. We felt like we were at home. Good advise on local activities!
