Friendly approachable staff. The bathroom had just had an upgrade. But no liquid soap in the dispenser by shower. Staff came right away and filled up. Great location. Very close to hot pools and a shopping center. Green space just across the road in old hospital rounds. 100 minutes drive from Christchurch Airport.
There was nothing really that I did not like or that I had problems with the hotel. For the town itself, I could only locate one petrol (gas)station.

Bathroom needs extractor fan. Very damp when showering. Then when u open window it fills with bugs.

The heater was turned on for us as we had a late check in. Nice warm room. 4 guests and were given extra bottle of milk.

Our host was just lovely and the access to unlimited towels for the pools was a bonus.

a two minute dawdle to the hot springs. Many restaurants only a minute away. Park your car and just walk around Hanmer Springs village. Great place to visit.

Great location, spotlessly clean and real comfy bed. The staff were lovely too.
