We love the room and the view was amazing. The room has essential things that we need (washing machine, pillows options, clean pantry). It was a great stay for a week. Recommended if you want a strategic location with no fuss no muss service.

We had a beautiful view of the bund from our window. It was nice having a bathtub in the room and the ayis cleaned to a high standard and replaced products daily. Having a washing machine in the room was a good touch and washing powder was provided and replenished. The location of the property is convenient and a short walk or Didi ride to some attractions such as Shanghai Old Town and Yu Garden and some very nice restaurants. Mayita restaurant is on the 6th floor, lovely staff and lovely food. When you order food from JSS they have robots deliver the food directly to your room.
Upon arrival, 1000¥ is taken as a deposit but there was no indication of this beforehand and it wasn’t explained what this deposit was for until I asked due to the room having various decor and appliance issues. The furnishings in the room need updating as many are worn and tatty. The front desk were informed of the shower head which needed fixing and the TV signal but neither were looked at despite the front desk saying the engineers/IT would come to look at it. Channel 8 was the only channel which had films in English and this was the only channel which didn’t work due to poor signal. The swimming pool which was previously in use when the apartments were under Fraser Residence is permanently closed. There was also a note in the room about pest control being carried out and a warning that this may cause a smell during our stay. We didn’t detect a smell, however, it was quite concerning reading this note with no further information as to why this was being carried out.

Location Fantastic. Rooms Excellent. We stayed in the one Facing the Bund.
Breakfast could have been better. No name tags on the food served on buffet, Luke warm temperature of the food. Very Limited Choices, The Salt and Pepper was served in a bowl which was being rotated on several tables, i saw a few using hands to pick and sprinkle the salt.

Very spacious apartment for Shanghai, perfect for a long stay. Made a big difference to have balcony, washing machine, bath and big bed! Big drop off area out the front of the building

nice to have a big fitness centre , which with different training machines, in the room everything was clean and tidy,
breakfast with not much choice, bread with mould on it, in the lounge coffee maker was broken, hot food was not hot enough (such as congee and bun), cold food was not cold enough such as yogurt, staff didn't say "good morning" even see you in the morning

Breakfast was the worst I ever had in all hotels / service apartment in Shanghai. Gym is not well maintained.

It was Frasers in the past, the original design of the room and facilities were good and very convenient.
The new owner took over the property, only renovate the lobby. The carbonate were old. Gym was awful, only one treadmill working, very tight space. Breakfast has limited options, it was delivered from outside, because the kitchen was taken away and rent out the space to a Japanese restaurant.

Size of the room was very big, kitchen was fully equipped, Bed was very big and comfortable, breakfast was good, crib for the baby was provided, check in a and out was very easy. Late check out was possible at 1 pm, stuff was very helpful and supportive
