The size of the room can only be described as huge. I'm not sure of the exact size but it would be in the vicinity of 90 m2. The airconditioning worked very well, the beds were comfortable, the shower and toilet was good as well. We did enjoy a couple of breakfasts where we checked in across the road and there was an abundance of restaurants all within walking distance.

I personally found that there was too much light in the room during the evening which made sleep a little difficult for me. The room above us has wooden floors and the children made plenty of noise running back and forth playing during the early evening.

I looooved Muntri Mews! The staff was so accommodating and friendly— especially Raj (i think that was his name…). They were very helpful and super sweet! Me and my family of 8 all stayed at the hotel in four different rooms. The rooms were beautiful and I loved the huge beds placed next to one another. It could definitely fit four people comfortably but it was just me and my partner in the room, so we essentially got a bed to ourselves ehile sleeping right next to each other! The terrace was beautiful and a great place to eat lunch/breakfast or enjoy a coffee! The room itself was super clean and a great shower. I highly recommend staying here! Would 100% stay again.

I wish that the blankets were a bit heavier and more fluffy! Breakfast was not included in our rate which was a bummer, but the cafe looked cute and busy! If we had more time definitely would have tried it. We opted to eat in Penang though! Also no pool.

is over priced. the second room we booked was not same as picture shown. the room aren’t cleaned as my girl feels itchiness on skin and we requested to change the bedsheet on the second day.

Staff was absolutely amazing and the room was a reflection of Penang and it’s amazing heritage. Strategically located. will defend return.

Great location in the historic area of Georgetown. Our family room was very spacious with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate living room, more like a small apartment. All furnished with Chinese antiques. Very atmospheric.

The Mews cafe was disappointing - our food was very average and over priced with indifferent service. Water pressure in shower very weak but understandable given the age of the property.

Location is good. Actually every year since year 2017, I stayed in the sister property Muntri Grove. Unfortunately I don’t managed to get a reservation this year. Love the location.

The room door had a latch on the outside of the door. Not sure what is the intent but I do worried if I get locked in and there is emergency or fire or anything and someone latched the door, I will be trapped.

Location and size of the room was great. Beds were comfy.

The damp in the room. All the walls were peeling and flaking. Though they had a dehumidifier.

very quaint and cozy place. Beautifully decorated, qnd spacious for a family. Location was perfect, near local food, hipster cafes and museums for the kids to enjoy. Loved our stay!

Stayed in Terrace Suite. Beautiful antiques and decor. Central location. Polite staff who tried to solve our basic issues but ultimately could not because of poor management and oversight with respect to housekeeping.

Very poor hygiene. Utter disappointment for the price paid. Old , worn out, yellowing bath towels with multiple brown and black stains all over. Asked staff to replace towels, but the new towels were just as old and stained. Not to mention the coffee mugs in the room were full of coffee/tea stains from previous guests. (And you'll have to sleep with a duvet that has no cover. The staff explained that's how their beds are made.) Very disappointed, could not get a good nights' sleep with such poor hygiene. Such a shame for such a beautiful hotel and the price paid. Don't think I'll come back.

Muntri Mews rustic and bohemian charm is a magnet puller. I have an old soul and an avid antique collector myself so the entire decor and interior is very appealing. My kids love staying here too. This is our second time and it never disappoints. Location is centrally located and walking distance to Armenian Street if you like the casual stroll into town. Plenty of charming boutiques nearby too i.e. Lee Ye Yuan Hotel (reception area doubles as a shop), 5.4 North, etc
