Very dated location

Perfect for a one-night stop over super close to the airport. Dinner was included in the rate, and it was extremely tasty. Breakfast was also included, as well as afternoon tea. The staff were all excellent, super friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect for a short stay, comfy, cozy bed, and very clean. The grounds were also beautiful. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

Very close to Windhoek airport, only about 6 minutes away. The owner drove me there for a fee of NAD120 ($6.60 USD). Nothing fancy, but cozy, somewhat rustic style large room. Nice layout of the rooms. Dinner and breakfast included, family style seating, got to meet other solo guests. I had an early morning departure, and a bagged breakfast was provided for me.

No TV in the room

Location across from the airport is great for an overnight stay. It literally takes minutes and you are there. No long transfer a real plus and very easy the next day when connecting to onward flights Food was a set menu, good home cooked style food, host accommodated a dietary requirement for one of us even on a last minute booking. This was great. Breakfast was buffet style and great. Room 4 was spacious and comfortable. Walking on the farm to a small dam was a great way to end the day after a flight.

Nothing not liked, more small details aspects. Showerhead in our room needed some attention, probably some grains of sand blocking some of the spouts. We simply took it off and it was no problem. Some milk in the room rather than creamer. Perhaps mugs rather than cups.

A lovely room on a beautiful, peaceful property very close to the airport but with very little to no aircraft noise. All the staff were friendly, courteous and kind and I was made to feel very welcome and very safe. Tea and cake in the afternoon a nice touch. A tasty dinner and a substantial breakfast! I chose the right place to break my long journey back to the UK.

The shuttle to the airport arrived later than booked so began to feel a little anxious. However, I still had time and the driver very kindly took my luggage into the terminal building and made sure I knew where to go. This is a comment not a complaint!

No mini fridge

I did not take breakfast because I had to leave early for the airport. I did appreciate that they had hot chocolate in the room, as I arrived late in the evening.

We had a great stay! The owner was lovely, the food was good, there were some beautiful birds around the property and the proximity to the airport can’t be beat. We thought it was very thoughtful that they packed us breakfast to go because we had to leave at 5am.

Etango unfortunately looks and feels tired, neglected & outdated. When I booked I thought we'd be able to order dinner from a basic menu. Instead, it was a set menu where the waiter wasn't even able to tell us that the light yellow puree was indeed butternut soup.

The location is great. It is located within a 10 minute drive from the airport. The owner was very accommodating. He will pick up and drop off for a small fee.

Wonderful accommodation with very friendly staff and owner. The owner took us to the airport the next morning, it is a perfect ace to spend a few days. Close enough to Windhoek but yet far enough from the City life.

Couldn't get drinks in the afternoon

Carmen and Robert are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Great homemade bread! A wonderful place to spend your first and/or last day in Namibia.

Pete, the manager, was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

Our only gripe was that we paid for full board, but didn't get any lunch as we arrived a little after 1pm and the kitchen staff had left. So we had to wait until 7pm for dinner. We chose not to have breakfast, as we had to leave at 6.15am for the airport.
