This place was great with value of the many. Location very near to main road and exit to Kyoto underground entrance. staff really helpfull n friendly. Will stay here again if revisit Kyoto

A un paso de la estación de trenes y con viajeros de distintas edades, aunque tengas más de 40 te sentirás a gusto. El personal muy agradable.

This is a very affordable hostel in a very good location. I was a short walk from the station and the price was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and they had a lot of helpful information on things to do around Kyoto.

The bed was not that comfortable, so I did have a bit of trouble sleeping. Also the showers had body wash and shampoo, but there was no conditioner.

Poor value for money No washlet in the private bathroom

We stayed with two kids and two adults in a double room with a shared toilet. Great location, comfy Japanese style room, toilet and bath right in the next room. Very friendly staff. Comfy and bright kitchen/communal area.

This hostel has a vibe that encourages the tourists to get to know one another. The staff is very friendly and is always sure to make recommendations to help you enjoy your stay. I usually don't have a plan when I travel, so I was grateful to have found those amazing spots. Bonus it's close to a train station.

- The location is amazing! - Friendly staff and quick Check-In - Big bunk beds with enough space for belongings - All areas were really clean - Kitchen was equipped with everything one could need and free coffee and tea :)

- When I entered the mixed dorm it smelled pretty bad; it seemed like the room hadn't been aired out by guests / staff in a while - I am used to futons, but this one was really really thin. My body needed some rest after walking around the city the whole day and the matress made that nearly impossible - I would recommend full blanket covers instead of sheets, as some people (like me) are moving in their sleep which meant that I ended up without the sheet and the blanket in direct contact with my skin...

Kyoto Hana Hostel is very nice, I love this. It is very clean and good location.

The thing we appreciated the most about this place is that they let us have early check in with no extra fee! We arrived at Kyoto station at 5:15am, and we were so exhausted from the night bus. Thankfully the staff let us check in earlier and we were able to get a 2 hour nap before starting our day! The room was small but that's ok. We were happy with a tatami room for our family of 4.

There was a loud noise (coming from a temple?) around 5:30ish am. If you are a light sleeper, you might hear it.
